  • In this video I fit an after-market oil pressure gauge to my Harley-Davidson Dyna Fat Bob. The process is similar for most other models.
The gauge I fitted is a Drag Specialities kit (Oil Pressure Gauge Kit
75133-99) which mounts on the rear cylinder rocker cover. I bought it from HogParts in the UK.
I don't make any money off my videos as I have insufficient viewers to get more than a few pence of UA-cam advertising video. If you enjoyed this video and found it useful, please consider buying me a coffee: www.buymeacoff...

I always run a pressure gauge on my engines but I will always upgrade the line to a oil pressure gauge stainless steel line kit from Arlen Ness

Great vid, very informative. Something I am considering for my own Fat Bob. Once installed, what pressure should one see? Someone told me that on a dyna its more a matter that oil is present rather than seeing a pressure range.

pressure will vary as you ride, so yes, seeing evidence of some reasonable level of pressure is what you are after

This might be a stupid question...but do I need to drain the oil before installing? :D
