    Back story
    Never grew up riding motocross all i could afford was bmx this is my first motorcycle i bought this march 2021 started riding it April 15th that spring rode normally till about august that summer….august 2021 is when i started attempting wheelies till basically now
    For anyone like me with no prior motorcycle experience looking to learn how to wheelie i wouldn’t recommend going the route i did trying to learn wheelies on your only bike that you have alot of money invested into i took a huge gamble on it
    I would recommend buying a Honda grom or a 110 pit bike or even a sumo or regular dirtbike just to learn balance point and rear brake control and dropping back before attempting Harley wheelies its the safest most least risky way to progress without ruining your only bike and potential hurting yourself most of those bikes i listed are relatively low risk n u could practice on grass at slow speeds.
    Thanks for watching

      I hear ya bro but you gotta get rid of that fear lol i know its easier said than done but everything you want is on the other side of fear 💪🏽 knee knockers for me were less scary cuz i didn’t feel like i was laying on my back/ the upside down feeling you’re more upright with the bike with knee knockers so it doesn’t feel as tipped back

    Super cool setup you have. Would it be the same, crutch up + throttle on a softail streetbob to get ut up?

    Thank you very much for your advices and detailed explanations. Do you have any experience with wheelies with another motorcycle, smaller with a smaller power or did you start directly with your Dyna? I just found out about your channel with your oil pan modification video from to 1 FB group and 1 member who shared it
    Thank you very much I will watch the others 👍🍺🤙

      @@Forever1wheel thank you for your answer 🤙
      yes usually people start with more stable or lighter cross bikes or atv 4wd.
      maybe with a Sportster but that's already a lot.
      I started a long time ago with my first 250cc Yamaha Virago motorcycle but the fear of falling and getting really hurt (even if I never needed to do stunts to fall 😅).
      My 2nd motorcycle was my first Harley 1200 Sporster from 1993 anniversary but there also the fear of having a bad fall, the burn out was enough 😅 for 23 years that I have had my fxdl I tried again but still no results... I have to put it in 1 day. try to do 1 wheelie in my life before I die.
      This might be my first and last wheeling...if I die. In any case, great videos cool channel keep going 👍🤙🍺. your Instagram no longer works?

      Its lots easier to wheelie when you have power. My 2022 street glide used to have a stage 2, 114" motor pushing 128hp/129tq. I ran a metzler cruise tec tire and soften my shock adjuster in rear. The bike comes right up in 1st gear just twisting the throttle, no seat bouncing. My other harleys id so same thing even when stock motors, soften rear shock and run sticky tire on back. Now every bike id run a seat that lets me have my ass further back so that helps. I have a built 135 now and its just a beast with 2nd gear wheelies

    Hey brother beautiful bike i got an 06 dyna got a question where did you get the oil pressure sensor black like that and the intake two hoses ? It doesn’t touch the exhaust?

    • @Forever1wheel
      @Forever1wheel  8 місяців тому +1

      Hey man! my oil pressure gauge is an Arlen ness i got it from fortnine any harley shop online should have them i would think definitely handy just to keep an eye on things and for the intake hoses i just got some high temp rubber hose from a compressor air line company near my house just cut two long hoses and put them in was like 20$ good investment so the motor doesn’t eat excess oil when you’re on the limiter HPI sells a aircleaner kit with some nice fittings snd hose to get the same effect but i just mcgivererd my own for cheap
