A buddy of mine was always making fun of sportsters, I went from an 883 to a hammer performance 1275 on my bobber, he took it for a ride and came back with the biggest smile on his face 🤘
Don't forget the HP ratio to the weight of the bike makes a huge difference,a HD softail weighing 100+ more lbs with 115 hp compared to this bike I bet you it will be a close race,,,a great looking bike
I seriously can not wait to have my motor finished this week. It's been a long wait since my accident but the bike is going to be completely revised from what it was. I am curious to see how my S&S 1250 with forged flat top pistons works with my Feuling internals, Barnett clutch components, suspension and weight reduction. It was a super fun bike before, now I can't wait!
@@kevinwolfe5448 Scout is a beautiful bike, but also, those aren't the numbers for the Scout. Stock Scout is 100hp at the crank and 85 hp at the wheel. Torque is closer to 75lb at the wheel. I think the numbers you mentioned are the Scout with the 1300 cc big bore kit or the FTR1200. That being said, I think the stock Scout will still beat this. A stage 1 or 2 Scout will 100% beat it.
If only shipping and taxes to South Africa didn't cost as much as Road Glide. Amazing Bike. Just bought my dad a 90's sporty with a 1250kit and he's turned into a teenager. A smile factory on wheels.
I have a 2020 Iron 883. Juat got it back from the ship. Put a Screamin Eagle Stage 4 in it. I have Bassani Radial Sweepers and it is pulling 77 HP and 78 Torque.
Love the build! Looks and sounds awesome. I have the TBR 2 into 1 on my Indian Scout Bobber. I ended up putting the -7db baffle in it just to keep the sound sweet but not so killer on the eardrums over the long trips. ✌🏻
Whoever wins this beautiful little beast will be lucky. ❤️ All you'd really have to do after you get it is put on a more butt-gripping seat, throw some Progressive shocks and springs on, and probably upgrade those brake pads to some EBC or Galfer's. Then ride the ever loving shugar out of it!
Just crashed my 883 on Saturday she’s going to the shop tomorrow and she’ll be back bigger and badder. I love this video! Sportster’s are the shit and like my boy blockhead says just ride ur bike ✌🏽💨
Man, people who complain about what other people ride kill me... I know the Thunderbird isn't an amazing bike, can barely do aftermarket mods on the damn thing, but I'm in love with my Thunderbird Storm
Sportsters are a blast to ride. I have a 2017 Roadster cafe racer and love throwing it around. I would love to put my roadster up against that s&s kit.
I felt a huge difference with my screaming eagle 1200 kit. But I want to do the 1275 kit now. I want to build a 2003 sportster though so I can throw a 6 speed in it to with the 1275 kit
I love my Iron 1200. With the AMF era decal. Just installed its stage 1 and tuned it. Really woke it up. I’d be curious to see this bike compared to a standard Iron 1200 with a Stage 1.
Super excited to see all the bikes lined up for the giveaways! The videos have been amazing, so I'm ready to see them all tuned out and ready to roll! I got my tickets in and crossing my fingers for one of them! Keep up the awesome content!
Nunya bidness “Hey you should be like someone else” whatever, go buy some merchandise and enjoy what he puts out! Ain’t nobody trying to do the same thing.
I wonder how much more power that build would've made if the 883 heads had gotten even just a cleanup to the bowl area of the ports, as that is one of the reasons why stock 883 heads can leave power on the table if left untouched when used for conversions, besides them also having smaller valves than the 1200 heads. However, with the TBR pipe I still have doubts on how MUCH more power would be made, as the horsepower plateaus at ~5500 and even begins a very slow decline until redline. Every exhaust pipe is going to have a different power curve than another, but if aesthetics and sound were a more primary focus to the choice of pipe, then I'd say the TBR pipe is a fine choice. I'm anxiously waiting for a Hammer Performance build on your channel Block, don't let me down!
I love it!! the speedo messes with my ocd but i love the sound. would love to see an actual drag race between It and the Bolt. Im on team bolt lol. curious to see the bolt numbers after the tune.
Its awesome that you live in Orlando I see your videos and am always saying "Oh I know where he is!" since I am living in the heart of Downtown Orlando
1st off the Iron Hooligan Looks great, Lean & Mean! An holy sh!t, Rocket Man... she sounds Grrreat & Hauls A$$! Curious how fast you were hitting in the vid.? Hats off Blockhead to you & Chris @sickwideglide for creating a Monster. Lucky Devil to whomever Wins this Incredible Iron! ✌🤘
Nice video brother, hey just got a 2014 Iron 883 couples month ago, is so cool to rider around your neighborhood that’s was Ocoee back rd right see you around 👊
Great job Blockhead..I'd love to see how yours would run next to my 1200/1275 Hammer kit!!!! It's pushing 130 H.P. I'm glad your happy with it. Sportsters are my favorite. Uh except Trikes
Swweeeeet.👍💪 Hammer Performance offers a 1275 kit that delivers more: 100 h.p., rather than 70 h.p. that S&S delivers. Now, Harley needs to bring back the V- Rod in its 1250 Porsche designed engine, with lees rake, mid controls & narrower rear wheel to punish some crotch rocket riders. I would also see this weaselly company bring back the LEGENDARY FXR FRAME on many of its bikes. And comeon Harley, descent double disc brakes with ABS on all models. We already pay premium price for for your bikes.
Harley is releasing a modern sporster with the pan America motor, 150 hp v twin liquid cooled. In the pan America it does power wheelies. Can't even imagine how insane that would be in a sporster style frame
I’m actually looking into get my first street bike. I usto ride dirtbikes but nothing over 250cc. I love the scout and the 883. Which would you recommend?
Hey blockhead, obviously this makes less power than the 120hp kit but how does it compare to the 120hp kit? Is it worth spending the extra like 5k for it?
I notice on goldzilla you have the Rockform upside down and below your bars... how did you get the magnet to work? I did the same with mine but my magnet doesn’t hit anymore because the mount is upside down.
A buddy of mine was always making fun of sportsters, I went from an 883 to a hammer performance 1275 on my bobber, he took it for a ride and came back with the biggest smile on his face 🤘
I’m glad blockhead didn’t give up on UA-cam!

I'd love to see this pull side-by-side with the Scout
Scout stock will still likely thrash a hopped up sportster
Yeah, the scout would smoke it. Just numbers alone are 123 hp and 87 ft. lbs. of torque. The scout is ugly af though, so there’s that.

Pick up my iron 883 with Harley pumpkin orange a month ago with 9 miles I’m past the 1,000 miles and love it. Ride it all over south Cali
If only shipping and taxes to South Africa didn't cost as much as Road Glide.
Amazing Bike. Just bought my dad a 90's sporty with a 1250kit and he's turned into a teenager.
A smile factory on wheels.
Iron 883 on stage one are beautiful. I can only imagine this hooligan. Great content BLOCKHEAD!
I totally agree with you about the Sportster. Would love to do this to mine or win this one. 😉
Put some 13.5 suspension on that thing, t handlebars, and progressive suspension. It'll be more of a beast
I used to ride a 1975 sportster, and I love what you did with the 883
Thank you! 😊
That's one of the most beautiful sportsters I've ever seen. Excellent job man.
Looks solid Blockhead, now I wish I've gotten a sporster. Seems to have a wider spectrum of aftermarket products for it
One would say that there's even too much aftermarket products for the sportser :D
Like Shadetree said in a vid awhile back, you can build a Sporty from all aftermarket parts, pretty crazy! lol
@@BlockheadMoto I 2020 softail slim and not a whole lot of aftermarket for it. Or maybe I'm not looking hard enough lol
I have a 2020 Iron 883. Juat got it back from the ship. Put a Screamin Eagle Stage 4 in it. I have Bassani Radial Sweepers and it is pulling 77 HP and 78 Torque.
Looks/sounds fun! I have a 2004 883 that's old, rusty, and crusty that I'm going over. I'm going more "industrial" with it....
Sportsters are refreshing to ride..so much fun. I'm putting the 1250 hooligan kit on my 48.
love the fact you go to the same under-the-bridge spot to shoot photos; it's a good lil place.
Great spot!
Lob lob lob lob. Love that idle! I had an 883 for 7 years and always said I was going to do the big bore. Never did
That’s a sweet bike! Love that exhaust sound! Good luck to whoever wins that beast!!
Love the build! Looks and sounds awesome. I have the TBR 2 into 1 on my Indian Scout Bobber.
I ended up putting the -7db baffle in it just to keep the sound sweet but not so killer on the eardrums over the long trips. ✌🏻
Had to keep wiping the drool off screen so I could watch . Awesome build !!!
🤤😂

Just had this kit put into my '95 sporty. Enjoyed the video and looking forward to the upgrade.
Don’t give it away until your hammer 1275 is on the other one and race them!
Nice job Block.
It looks / sounds & pulls great!

Glad you're ok man, hope there wasn't much damage to both you and your bike.
Man, people who complain about what other people ride kill me... I know the Thunderbird isn't an amazing bike, can barely do aftermarket mods on the damn thing, but I'm in love with my Thunderbird Storm
Sportsters even with just exhaust sound fantastic
Man I love this channel!! Thank you from Australia 🍺🤘
Yo Block! I think you have a future with this build thing. It's already here. G
I really love to participate in your giveaways but I can't since I'm from the Philippines. been watching your videos since the iron 883 days.
Great video, I've got the same kit on my 2017 iron, it definitely wakea it up a bit and it's a bit of an adventure staying on with the 14" apes
Hey... love it...do they make an Easy Clutch for this bike? That would help the pull tension a lot.
Sportsters are a blast to ride. I have a 2017 Roadster cafe racer and love throwing it around. I would love to put my roadster up against that s&s kit.
You’re really making it hard to decide which one I would want!
I felt a huge difference with my screaming eagle 1200 kit. But I want to do the 1275 kit now. I want to build a 2003 sportster though so I can throw a 6 speed in it to with the 1275 kit
BADASS 💪!!!! Lovin this Build, Honestly this Whole Season has AMAZING Bikes love the diversity in style for each bike!! Ride Safe
Thanks Jason!
Love everything you did to the 883! Great looking bike!
Awesome video and awesome content can’t wait for the next video Thanks BlockHead

I just bought a 2021 iron 1200 in April iv only put 720 miles on it but i love it
The only thing I would like to see that you never show on any of your builds is a 0-60mph pull similar to what Shaun does on SRK cycles test rides
Nunya bidness “Hey you should be like someone else” whatever, go buy some merchandise and enjoy what he puts out! Ain’t nobody trying to do the same thing.
It's somewhere around 4 seconds
I’d like to see that too with a mark off
Smaller bikes are just fine. Especially for newer riders.
Awesome bike block been watching since the 883 days too. Sure this bike brings good memories! Keep it up brother.
Bro you should drag race it against a 48 now. Would be awesome. Good job man! 👌🏾
This is my favorite bike by far!

He’s doing one on his personal sportster. He released the first video of it last week
Hammer Build incoming on the personal Sporty, heads and manifold arrive today! 🤘🏼

Man-o-man that bike rips! digging those bars, tank lift, some great ideas there!
Such a sexy ass bike! Loud and sound is off the charts!
"Ride what you ride, if you like the sportser freaking buy the sportster"
- Cries in discontinued Europe :'(
I’m sure it’ll be back, just with a new engine!
We got enough used sporties 😁 but yeah
This definitely resonates with me
Stop with the Euro 4,5,6,7,8 bullshit. Problem solved.
Its awesome that you live in Orlando I see your videos and am always saying "Oh I know where he is!" since I am living in the heart of Downtown Orlando
Next sportster build you do,should be a cafe racer style
Do want. Honestly all the bikes for Season 5 are winners.
What did you upgrade the brakes with? If you are going faster, you may need better brakes.

Seeing the 2 inch tank lift is so weird after being used to seeing my 4 inch lift with 12 inch bars. Gives it a nice tall de-rake look
Super bummed I missed out on the giveaway. Loving this bike more and more.
You might want to point out the engine size to bike weight ratio and how that has changed. That is why this bike will dust bigger bikes.
Hey Block, could you make a video about cleaning and maintaining bikes?
Sure thing!
Are there any clips of you riding this from 3rd person? Those bars look SO low, but its obviously manageable..just hard to imagine
Sounds NICE!!! Now, where's that SCOUT!!!lol all bass ass bikes!
I’d like to see it race against a 1200 Sportster.
I got one 1200 xln I’d race it
Very coo! A little too fast for me, I'm a new rider and I'm more of a cruising down the rode kind of guy.. Lol
Love my sportster. Also have a 21 fxst. Still love my sportster.
Wonder how it does on the highway one thing I hated was going 70 and it screaming
what a monster, I f** love it.
Block that thing looks absolutely awesome and I’m sure it is a blast. I am curious if it runs hot and if so is it that noticeable?
what a beast of a machine
Sick build, it sounds mean! I can't wait for the giveaway!

That's a serious power increase. Makes a great bike out of it. Not so mild 883 anymore. Wolf in sheeps clothing.👍
😍😍😍😍😍😍 incredible!!
Side note: What kind of helmets are in your inventory?.
I would put pullback risers and some drag bars on it
Hey bro its better to a 1200 stage 1 ? Thanks
I’m actually looking into get my first street bike. I usto ride dirtbikes but nothing over 250cc. I love the scout and the 883. Which would you recommend?
I love my 2013 iron 1200 ❤️❤️
Been thinking about doing this to my 883
How does this kit compare to a stock 1200 sporty? Power, torque, response, etc…
Oh man I'd love that RC51
Hey blockhead, obviously this makes less power than the 120hp kit but how does it compare to the 120hp kit? Is it worth spending the extra like 5k for it?
Have you ever compare a 1200 conversion vs a stage 2-3 or 4 on a 883 ?
The kit seems nice but I do not like the look. But I don't have to like it. It's not mine and who ever wins is getting a nice bike.
Hi does this conversion add much weight to the bike?
Is there a kit like the hooligan or hammer for Sporty 48? Or would it be the same kit?
