Decel pop is usually due to a lean condition. Often a small exhaust leak.

Not necessarily. This is from no baffles. Put a nut and bolt going up through each pipe. Usually solves it

@@bradleydavis6460hey man, can you please kindly explain a bit clearer? You mean screw the bolt into the hole for mounting quiet baffles so it sticks out inside of the muffler? How long should the bolt be?

I did a 120hp hammer kit in my 883 loved that bike, great for 1/4 mile strips and burning other bikes on the street. I ride a roadster 1200 now and having a blast in the mountain passes, I'll wear the top end out and do another hammer kit on the roadster at some point!! 👍👍👍

I have a 1275 top end on a 883. Don't forget to change your clutch.
To get better top end speed change sprockets.
I can roll smoothly at 135 mph and still have torque.
Also put some drag pipes on it.
The next thing I'm gonna do to my bike is put the Trask turbo kit on it.
It'll give ya 60 to 80 more Horse power.

Hammer performance makes 1250 and 1275 kits. The liners on the 1250 jugs are much thicker. I think I would go with the 1250. Like 850.00 but those maybe old prices. For a little extra money they will put the pistons in the jugs. That's what I would do. They have a bunch of dyno charts.

Nothing wrong with building one up like people do with a mustang. Some of us are just more performance oriented. And ya mentioned last? It's still gonna last these motors are bullet proof and what he's done isn't putting it under any extreme pressure if anything the motor doesn't work as hard anymore. ....bike sounds good man ride on
