Thank you Hugh, no disrespect to Spektrum users, we’re just doing the testing to really see if the Express LRS system works well. Shout out to Banana Hobby, this jet is a winner!
There’s a few people at my club that use Express LRS systems in their planes… especially those that fly rc planes FPV. Makes sense considering the distance you can get out of it
It’s an outstanding flawless turbine, just make sure to really go into the settings in depth. I had to activate the auto restart and accelerate/ decelerate settings on the GSU.
I know I’m not the first fixed wing pilot lol, what I meant to say was 1st known turbine pilot to fly ELRS. There are no videos showing any pilots using ELRS in a turbine jet. I took the risk with my new F22 to prove it’s a legitimate option for the community.
Much better Fernando! 🤙 Now that's the butter landing I've come to expect from Jason! 🤗 Weird what YTube did on the other video. Guess they're now censoring sweet landings as well. 🤪
Spektrum doesnt have issues😅 at least that's what they'll lead you to believe. I recently saw an ad from them that literally shows a plane crashing with some other radio and then makes it look like spektrum is the end of all issues. Just so you'll get locked into over paying for under performing equipment
I’ve been a Spektrum user for many years also, and for some like yourself it works great, and that’s awesome. At our field at Markham we’ve done a lot of testing and there indeed is a dead spot at our field. There’s been a lot of issues with all types of radios losing connection, recently a Powerbox radio turbine jet flown by a proven pilot lost connection and the jet crashed into a back yard 3 miles away! After countless hours of research we’ve found that the dead spot is due to large trees and water creek causing signal loss, along with a new 5g antenna that was installed near our field has also something to do with sudden signal loss.
Any issues with Spektrum are 99.9 % user error. There is no such thing as dead spots at flying fields. 99.9% of crashes are controlled flight into terrain. I have been flying Spektrum since the original Dx6 and have never had an issue that wasn't my own fault. People repeat what others say like sheep. They have on something cause it is the cool thing to do. If you need to do long-range Spektrum is compatible with Crossfire which is the best system out there for long-range FPV planes. It is plug-and-play with Spektrum.
Great flight an landing

This makes me happy bro I just got my tx16s in. Set it up and everything. Love it so far but makes me happier to hear some verification.

Forgot to also thank Renee, he was truly a huge help with my 1st few solo flights and also with radio programming.
Excellent flight. How do you like the SWIWIN brand?

I went with ELRS as well, but you aint first homie!
