I grew up in Keene between Cleburne and Alvarado. Loved Grandview. Used to drive up there to go to this little cafe on the square. Pretty cool place to live. Used to paddle the Brazos River from below Grandview down to an old bridge below Highway 67. I think you'll enjoy Grandview.
The move was an adventure, not quite the type I want to relive any time too soon 😂… had some fun and had more than enough challenge’s and stress.. but we all made it .. we are still finding out what items didn’t quite make the 2200 mile move in one piece , but it’s just material… big thing is that everyone is okay and happy to be at our new home. I’m actually in the aerospace field. Work as a painter for Gulfstream now. But spent the last 10 years before working for Boeing. But before that my occupation was in the Auto Body industry , spent most of my life in this.
