    I dropped a concrete step stone on my bare big toe. It hurt so bad. I was sure I crushed it. I went upstairs to lay down and remembered my comfrey plant. Got a leaf and wrapped my toe in it and left it for a couple hours. After 2 hours, the pain had subsided tremendously. Then the next day at church I had them pray for healing and by the end of service I had no pain. My toe is completely normal. Thank God for Comfrey and His healing power.

    My 88 year old mother has been chair bound for the last 3 years due to a shoulder injury. Painkillers, physio…nothing worked. About 6 weeks ago I made a salve from comfrey leaves and she started applying it several times a day. Within 2 days she was moving around, smiling and so happy her pain had decreased. Now several weeks later she is organizing her cupboards and going out shopping…all things she couldn’t do because of pain before. I am so grateful I discovered this beautiful plant!

      @@lilytang6485 I infuse comfrey in olive oil using a slow cooker on low for 8 hours, then strain it. Depending on how much you want to make, you can adjust the recipe. I took 1 cup of the strained infused oil and put it in a double boiler, on simmer…add 1/4 cup beeswax (you can adjust according to how soft or hard you want) and stir until melted. Cool slightly until you can touch it but before it starts to set…add Vit E, and whatever essential oils you want. Pour immediately into containers and let them set until firm…about an hour or so. There are many tutorial on UA-cam on how to make salves, but this is a basic recipe.

    30 years ago I was in far north Queensland with friends in a very remote area. My friend slipped and cut the sole of her foot wide open on an oyster shell. The next day the bottom of her foot was every colour of the rainbow and the red lines had started up her leg. No mobile phone or phone reception meant no way out, however we found a Hippy and he made a poultice of the leaves and changed it every 2-3 hours. 3 days later she just had a fine red line on the sole of her foot. Just amazing and I would never had believed it if I hadnt seen it.

    I burnt my hand severely thirty years ago in a dry cleaning press, the doctors wanted to give me a skin graft, but my friend said he'd put some comfrey ointment on it and he said I wouldn't need the skin graft, two weeks later I went back to see the doctors and they were shocked, I never told them about it. The comfrey ointment was very thick and dark not like the stuff you buy now which is light and weak.

      I work at the Farmers market and just learned about comfrey salves. I have a country plant and was using most of the leaves to fertilize other plants that I had in containers on my deck. Today I stopped at one of the vendors and asked him if he had any country plans he was selling her plants etc He had two plants gave me one and told me I could pay for it another time. Then I asked him if he would mind trading and I would make him some salve. On the way home I thought about making salves and using him as trades for the market or selling them. I'm not sure how we could do it but would you send me the recipe or video link of where you go to learn to make the sales. I've seen some some are simple and summer extremely complicated and disjointed. Would love to communicate with you.

    I bought some Bocking 14 about 10 years ago and planted it in different places at the edge of my garden and lawn. I just dug up 2 plants, replanted a piece in the original spaces and then planted 33 other pieces of those original plants at the edge of my gardens and the side of my house. I want it to stop the encroachment but I also will use it for chop and drop and Jadam fertilizer tea.
    The new planted areas will keep me from having to chop it and put it in a wheel barrow to spread it in my garden.
    I make Jadam (Korean) comfrey tea by chopping up a bunch of comfrey and stuffing it into a 32 gallon black garbage can. I pack the comfrey tight up to about 3/4 of the garbage can. I throw in some leaf mold and sea salt, wait about three months and mix the solution 1 part tea to 10 parts water. You can keep adding the comfrey and water. It's freeze proof over the winter. It works and you will never run out of the stuff.
    The Russian Bocking 14's NPK is 1.8 - 0.5 - 7. Buying it was one of the smartest things I've ever done for my garden and my back

    The commercial sale or supply of Comfrey, or Comfrey products, was made illegal in Australia some time back because it has been deemed to be toxic. In some council areas it is on the noxious/toxic weed list and where it is illegal to have it growing.
    Apparently, where humans are concerned, it is very toxic to the liver, it should not be eaten.

      Plant it in full Sun as much as possible. I divide and plant it wherever I can, chickens eat it constantly, so I grow more plants to stay ahead of them. A 2” root cutting is sufficient to establish a new plant. Plant it 1-2” deep. Should push out leaves in 1-3 months.

    • @lauragestes8847
      @lauragestes8847 Рік тому

      They did some tests on rats and some of them got cancer, BUT, it turns out that that the dosage rate was INJECTED into the rats at a very high rate, and for much longer than was needed. It sounds like Big Pharma at work. Colloidal Silver is another spooky thing nobody should use. The last I knew the FDA (Fear and Death Administration) only approved it to be used to preserve transplant organs, and to be instilled in the bladder for interstitial cystitis.
