    Beautiful. Thank you. I see that Islam has much to offer for the better of humanity. I think most muslims don't even see the real beauty of Islam. If the whole world turns away from Islam I will never leave the religion. May Allah guide us and guide by us.

      Aisha was a hero for feeding 9 pages of the qran to a goat in the yard when the prophet died. ALso she was relieved she didnt have to fail to wash the seamonkeys out of his clothes anymore.
      Don't conflate the religion with a single philosopher. The religion is incompatible with values I hold dear. and it is recorded in the book that the prophet said if I am found to be a hypocrite Allah will cut my heart out. And it is documented when he foolishly ate poison and died, he said Allah Has Cut Out My Heart. The only honest thing the man ever said.
      Strangely Khaldoun doesn't seem to espouse many of the tenets of his faith in his writings, but only the bad ones are excluded. What a chad.

    People need to read about ibn khaldouns life. What gave him his insights is that he served various leaders. He wasn't just a dude writing things down. He was educated in a number of different disciplines.

    It would be a great idea to place corresponding concepts put forth by Adam Smith's idea of development, justice and peace and weigh them against Ibn Khaldoun's concept: العدل إذا دام عَمَّر والظلمُ إذا دام دمَّر
    i.e Development results when justice prevails and destruction is wrought when oppression rules.

    Bless the algorithm for this video. However, while this is a beautiful ideal to aspire to, and while you mention justice and corruption a lot, how do you define justice?

    9:00 I’ll never be convinced that conflict is simply “human nature”…
    Conflict is taught it’s not genetic in my opinion…

    • @lowersaxon
      @lowersaxon 4 місяці тому

      Wrong. Nature is the basis of everything. You are not „taught“ to reproduce without its natural basis. You cannot teach conflict without a disposition for it. What teaches you to be prepared for „war“ or conflict is your desire to expand, at least to stop expansion into your physical or mental territory. For organized large scale war the ignition needs a bit or pretty much of propaganda. Demonize, dehumanize, sow fear and hatred. The more the less justified „your“ war is.
      There are experts of this, if you know what I mean.
