Here's a bit of Historical trivia which still plagues us today. In the late 1800's J P Morgan wrote a letter, which still exists, to his business associates in South Africa, the Rand Lords. The Rand Lords owned the gold and diamond mines there. Diamonds were so common at the time that they didn't produce much profit. They are still ridiculously common but thanks to JP they are worth a lot today. There was little demand for diamonds so in his letter he proposed to these mine owners that a, "new tradition," must be created: the diamond engagement ring.
So the moral of this story is to...not get married because of JP Morgan Chase?

The good book says the root of all evil is the love of money. I might add the love of of power to that. I think the love of money is at the root, but with money comes power and is a close cousin to money. It's sad for humanity that war is so profitable for the lovers of money and power. Question is, how many wars were started by banks and the love of money?

They teach the other crooks how to do it right all while looking lke the good guys. Without them running the show its not hard to imagine we may actually have made some progress over the decades instead of global devolution, that only comes with great effort.

The most important event in the Rotchilds careere was conveniently forgotten. Purchasing approx 90% of London's Stock Market by spreading misinformation about the outcome of Waterloo battle 1815.
Not sure where you got your information from but purchasing 90% of London's stock market is absurd. The Great Stock exchange fraud of 1814 with 8 people charged amounted to a sale of £1.1 million, what Nathan Rothschild profited in 1815 was reported to be £1 million. If he had purchased about 90% of the London Stock Exchange his profit would have been much larger.
What he took advantage of is that people knew he got information about battles faster than everyone else because of their private network of couriers, so it was well known to follow what he did on the stock exchange. When he found out the battle of Waterloo was a victory he sold on the market which caused lots of other people to follow his lead assuming the battle was a loss, when the market crashed he started buying back in at the lower value. This wasn't a digital age, the transactions couldn't happen as fast as they happen now.
This was not the most important.
There's a lot of important events he didn't mention. He obviously did his research in only a couple weeks or something while some of us have been on this for over 20 years or so. @@innosanto

I'd looked into investing in real estate some years back, I found that any property worth investing in was changing hands illegally under the table. The heads of banks were in on these schemes as well. I've long known that people generally become wealthy by a combination of being informed and being connected well enough to regularly get away with illegal activities.
