Listen everyone. Jamie is a great, honest guy, whose passion about traditional woodworking is second to none. Please do this lad a favour, like , subscribe and once you’ve watched his videos give him some good feedback/ comments. There are very few tradesmen of his era left practicing at such a high and knowledgeable standard. Do yourself a favour too, watch, learn and appreciate. Thank you Jamie
Interesting little plane. Blade bevel up, right? Do you ever get to use that lovely mitre plane you made when we were at Sandwell? Be a good video in itself.
@@paulmcconnell8453 It's a little cracker. Yes bevel down. Makes it a lot easier for the mouth I should think. No, I don't use my mitre plane much. I used to think it was more about the type of plane that you could get better finishes, now I think it's just as much the sharpening and the plane. I should probably get it out, a little refurbish and make a box for it too 🤔
Good to hear from you buddy. It’s a nice thing. Do you think is for making musical instruments or model making or being machine made maybe pattern making. 👍
@@chrisfinn1162 I think more towards model making than Luthier use. It's very cool. I need to go through it all, check a few things and see if it makes sense.
@@twcmaker If you were going to make and sell them, then a larger one or two sizes would increase the usefulness of the range.. I'd add dimples in the sides for finger and thumb to promote grip like on some block planes.
I can see it being very useful for some of those small rebates, runners, ledges etc in boxes, chests and more. See it as an alternative to using a Chisel freehand. There could be a Chisel plane version too 👌
How cute ❤ and wonderful that it works so well. I want one even though I have no use for it at all. It's so beautiful like a tiny work of art!
Cute isn't it. I thought it was superb.
I'll be chatting to Robert. If enough people would want one it could be worth a day making them.
Thank you. Yes I would love one. Please keep me in mind if you do make any. I'm the lady with the Jack Russell who asked you about picture frames!
Ohhh.. 'Up the road Sue'?

Thank you Carl. Made me smile. 🙏
Thanks Jamie, lil' plane never looked better!
My favourite of your collection. Thank you for lending it to me to make this video. 👍
That's splendid. Thanks Jamie for bringing it to my attention. And put me down for one of the first production run 😊
Thanks Rob. I'll make a note.
What do you think of this Tiny Rebate Plane?
If you and Robert make any, you can put my name down for one! It's lovely. Be nice with your mark on the side.
We will see. I think my (new) mark might be a bit too big. I might even hand engrave them. Numbered too.
1:46 gorgeous!
Isn't it just 👌👌👌
1:00 ohh!! He is a great man & craftsman . Powerful intelligence.

Sorry I mean bevel down Jamie.

@@twcmaker It would make a fantastic video with a bit of a wow factor.
Do you think? I'm not sure anymore. Videos I think will do well, flop. The ones I don't think will succeed, do.
I have no idea 😂

Nice little plane. I think it's a little too small for my Orangutang fingers.
Should there be a slightly bigger one..? 🤔 Maybe a set of three sizes

@1deerndingo Got it. Thank you. 👍
Cute! But would you use it? Or just look at it…?
