I am the proud owner of a Lexus 2023 LC500 Convertible. The car is just fantastic. I spend time just sitting in it with the engine off. Fit and finish is impeccable. Interior is superb and the power OMG. This thing is a rocket and the exhaust note is unreal. Drive one you will buy one, it’s that good 🏖️
Sonce you’re an owner I wanna ask you how does the soft top feel? Does it cancel the noise well specially when it’s raining ? because I’m really stuck between the coupe and the soft top so i need some advice
@@rmt6716 noise is very well reduced. unless u r going for 500hybrid, i assume u'd appreciate the convertible's louder/clear exhaust with top down and the open air driving experience and such. yet the rear wheel steering is NOT available on convertible(only for couple 500 and 500h). lexus finally got rid of the touch pad and gave us the touch screen and other few upgrades such as 360 camera and new safety system and etc for 2024 model's. i've wondering if i wanna upgrade my 2022 lc convertible for 24 but decided to keep the 22 model and install the after market 360 camera, for i love the 18-23 infotainment system aesthetic.
As a former Z guy (3 variants), I just purchased the LC500 2024 edition as my new Z. Some months ago, I had purchased a 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF and found it to be an excellent sports/luxury car blend that is very enjoyable to own and drive. I can recommend the MX-5 as the best sports car for the price point ($30-40K). I previously loved the LC500 but was annoyed by the electronics in the platform. And to my surprise, Lexus Corporate listened to the market and updated the infotainment for 2024. So the Miata is going to find a new home and the LC500 has earned a spot in the garage. The LC500 is the penultimate Lexus blend of GT/LS art/engineering and is actually priced well, with respect to the competition. I appreciate your review and agree with your comments. The TRACKPAD is almost not necessary once you've programmed your PERSONAL PREFS. The OWNER'S MANUAL explains VOICE COMMAND and once you learn a few basic commands, you won't be struggling with the trackpad. All the everyday "stuff" such as "call my wife, change radio stations, text a client, make the car warmer or cooler, find a pizza place, hospital, address etc." can be done by smart people who want to live and not mess around with the pretty icons found on TOUCH SCREENS. After all. traveling at 130 feet per second and taking your eyes off the road for three seconds can get you dead. I love my 2018 and haven't used the trackpad more than ten times in five years.
I have 2022 lexus rx450h, I just do my settings once I get in the car, then you are set to go, plus I have wired android auto, which I turned into wireless, bcz I got this Bluetooth dongle from Amazon turn it to wireless android auto, everytime i get in my cat it connects automatically, then I can just use android auto while diving and use voice commands, I don't know why lexus touch pad got so much hate
The coupe with the performance pack is plenty sporty. It can do a track about as quick as a Civic type R. That says something for a GT car. It's not meant for the track, but it isn't a slouch either.
If you have a problem with the track you’re just making excuses. Problem with only 2 seats, buy a mini van it’s that simple. The impracticality adds to its exclusivity which I appreciate.🏖️

And it's a Lexus. It'll last at least 3-4x longer than other brands.
