In this episode of JayEmm on Cars we're looking at the newly released Lexus LC Convertible. A drop top version of the fabulous LC500, this car is destined to never sell. But here's why I think it really should.

Not all young people won’t give it a chance, I’m 18 and I absolutely adore the LC and so do many others I know who aren’t bothered at all that it’s a Lexus because it’s the same company that made the LFA after all. The problem is of course that none of us could ever hope of affording it before it inevitably gets pulled from sale.
And no one could afford to fill it up :D
@@DanLMH the tank isn't that big lmao
@@visionist7 I was implying it'll drink a lot of fuel ;p
Yep im also 18 and i love the looks!
Im 18 too and that is my dream weekend car. The looks, the interior, open top, the sound, its the complete package
I am 100% sure no Lexus driver has ever worn such a shirt.
It has to be one of the finer items in his collection.
I'm fairly sure nobody has ever worn such a shirt.
Probably wearing happy face Speedos LOL
@@taotoo2 maybe Producer Michael
I started moving my arial about cos I thought I was getting interference
A car you can buy to enjoy at 6-7 years old at the bottom of its depreciation curve and have more than a fair chance it mechanically won't fall to bits like it's Bmw and Merc rivals.
All we know for sure is it's so freaking good, savagegeese bought one.
I've honestly never seen a shirt based on the carpet from a bowling alley before.
Great comment 👍
That was Spot On. Thanks for the Smile
Ooh god
So I have a coupe (2020), purchased in June of this year as a CPO. This is one of those love it or not deals. I was sold on the brand after getting my wife a ES 350 and having the Lexus experience. After deciding I wanted to have a sedan as a daily driver (in the nice months, I live in the Midwest) because I have driven a F250 for the past 10 years, I looked at Porsche, Merc and BMW both briefly and a few others and stumbled back upon the Lexus LC. Some background, I am 55, married with older kids and could have gone a few different ways in this search. I had seen a total of (1) LC 500 in the flesh other than one at the Lexus dealership when purchasing the car for my wife, they are rare in my geography. When I weighed the goals and or needs it was more or less the following: something that is different, something that is comfortable and fun to drive every day, lower maintenance and something that will hold decent value. I did the usual UA-cam and internet search/research and settled on the LC. In the short time I have owned this car I have no regrets, not one. Yes there is the goofy infotainment but as Jay stated, it isn't really all that bad once you get used to the quirks of the navigation. The power and flow of this car is seamless and even as a heavy weight it handles perfectly. It is a great GT car and one that I would match with many twice the price (DB11). I love driving this thing and perhaps not for everyone, I would suggest it wholeheartedly to anyone who asked me. I was at a car show this past weekend with the usual suspects, a bunch of C7 and C8's, a few Ferrari's, McLaren's, Porsche, and the like, 100 cars give or take, there was one LC. Very popular with the car nerds, of which I am one. One last thing, JayEmm and Savagegeese were both instrumental in my decision, I trust the information for what it is and made a decision based on the long term prognosis for NA V-8 engines and where the world may be headed. I make no other assertions beyond the idea that this car was held up to high expectations and in the past few months more than lived up to the challenge, thanks JayEmm for the reviews.
You made a great choice, glad you are happy with it. I had l have owned three Lexus in a row, they get under your skin.
@@johnmandragon4830 No regrets, it is an amazing example of engineering with a little LFA DNA mixed in!
You did the right thing.
@footballcoreano No, they aren't. Lexus is probably the most reliable brand in the world.
@footballcoreano One of the dumbest comments I've ever read in my entire life!! Lexus is unreliable? LMAO
I bought an LC convertible in Miami. I may be what you call the "typical" retiree living in Florida ( winter only ).....and I love this car. I drove it back home to Naples on the west coast. This car is a rare gem and a truly unique presence on roads packed with Porsches, Bentleys and Ferrari's driven by other old men. It is a refined beast.
This is one of my affordable dream cars in a few years. Looks stunning, Japanese reliability and a V8. What's not to love?
I would buy the coupe version in a heart beat. Stunning cars.
Love the design in a world of CAD generated vehicles, this seems like it was designed on another planet! Would love a hard top one,but champagne tastes with lemonade money will mean its but a pipe dream to own one.But fair play to Lexus for making this car a reality, very underrated brand.
Lexus coupes depreciate like stones, historically, so in a decade this will likely be super affordable. Back in the day I bought a SC400 that was 9 years old for about 1/6th what it was when new. Loved that car.
@@Beer_Dad1975 Im in the 🇬🇧 and currently there are only 12 of these for sale used and the cheapest is just under £56,000 at 4 years old for the 5 litre, what with the running costs fuel/tax/insurance,I'll think I'll just end up admiring the design from afar, but congrats to the people who bought one because they liked it,not following conventional wisdom.May stretch to a IS300h one day !! Depends on Government charges on non pure electric cars here in 2030!
@@michaelleaver1766 I'm in NZ - I have only ever seen 1 LC500 on the road, and all the ones for sale in NZ (6 listed so I guess they are fairly popular compared to GB) are somewhere in the vicinity of my annual salary - which is way more than I'd choose to spend on any car. Once they get to the 8 year mark or so though, the market will be "flooded" with Japanese imported used vehicles, and then the prices will plunge - I'd expect to be able to pick one of these up in 4 or 5 years for as little as $30,000, if you don't mind the entertainment system being in Kanji, and possibly a lingering smell of cigars that so many high end Japanese imports seem to have.
What about the SC430
@@CarsofGlasgow Ugh that's a terrible car - ugly, slow and too soft even for me.
A chap in my town owns a white coupe and it’s a really special thing. The attention to detail in the design is incredible. I wouldn’t be surprised if lexus lose money on each one.

The best GT car on the market right now no doubt. If I could afford it I would buy the coupe version right now at my local Lexus dealer. They have a coupe in the showroom in that beautiful red color....such a striking car with a strong presence to it!

She pulled into that gas station I mentioned and I was nervous she was going to think I was some creep but she was very nice and told me she gets that kind of attention all the time when she drives it. Hi Jay, I just wanted to say I really enjoyed your review of both the coupe and the convertible. I am very much in agreement with almost everything you say. I test drove an LC500 a couple months back and it was head over heels in love within the first 2 minutes of driving it. I still get tingles in my spine thinking about the way the exhaust cracks like a whip on the upshifts. Needless to say I signed the purchase agreement on the spot, and now its a long wait until november when my fully loaded sport package coupe arrives. wish me luck
Enjoy it Kevin!
Congratulations my dude! You did the absolute right thing in buying this over the unreliable and overpriced German competition.
Any update?
@@judemichaeluson8567 car just landed here. it was a 7.5 month wait, excruciatingly long. its the first of the model year 2022 in my country so it needs to be locally homologated first, expecting to collect the keys in about 2-3 weeks. can't wait!!
@@RideTheTrack probably hasn't stopped driving it long enough to update on his thoughts - stopping for gas is excruciatingly long as it is. Thank God for drive-thru restaurants and bottles to pee in.
The folding roof take was great.
This looks much better looking than the Ferrari Portofino. Honestly, the Portofino looks more like a Lexus than the LC500
I really think with the right specs, this interior is the most beautiful I've ever seen.
I’d buy it in an instant if I had the money.
Same here. I'd take this over a 911 without blinking.
@Markus Patients way rather have that than any cadillac and it will cost way less to maintain than any benz
@Markus Patients lol lexus outsell cadillacs
I recently mused that there was nothing available today that could truly replace my 2010 Jaguar XK n/a convertible. Flash, but classy. Sporty, but comfortable. Burbling V8 that had 'enough' power, and a price around £70k new. Then this car dropped, and it's exactly what the XK was offering, but 10 years later. I love the LC500, it might just be my favourite new car on sale, and I'm 34.
The Japanese sportscar craze is an interesting topic. Most of their existence had been justified within the 80s bubble economy, meaning manufacturer could invest a lot and gain small margins, and buyers could obtain loans for more affordable sportscars than Ferraris and Porsches. That's why their main market was Japan in terms of sales density. When the bubble bursted, prices went up and those already sold in Japan started being repossessed due to insolvency. By the 2000s the magic was over and they were selling just as much as they would have without the bubble. 2002 was the year in which emissions got stricter in Japan and that was the last nail in the coffin.
Great comment
Lexus LS all the way up to 2006 are the one of Lexus best ever cars ever. Excluding LFA. Solid built cars
@@ingho253 sold well because wasn't a proper sportscar
It’s a shame because those Japanese cars made in the 80s and 90s were some of the best cars ever made. We will never see that again
@@Milkman69ner And if things keep going the way they are no one will be able to afford them!
People need to understand its not all about on paper performance and 0-60 times. It is how fun it is to drive such a car that makes it amazing. Sad times.
Review was spot on for most parts. Having said that the LC does have different setting to alter the way the air con blows i.e. fast, slow or eco and this is a separate function to Auto mode.
I'm a 17 year old and I aspire to own a coupe version of one of these, particularly in red. Had it been a hard top convertible, I would definitely have been enticed. But, soft tops really aren't my thing. All in all, I love what Lexus has managed to produce here
You're not the target market here bro.
it was a fun day helping you film the LC500 coupe! can't wait for you to get back to the US!!!
Same here! What I'd give for a frozen custard right now
Not watched the episode yet but my local dealer sold 2 to the same guy - one for him and one for his wife :-)
I saw a LC500 coupe a few weeks ago in white and it was stunning.
The roar of that engine is outstanding. Thank you for having the ability to play it back to us so well.
Love my ‘21 infrared convertible with Carmel interior. Turns heads every time I take it out and usually gets comments or thumbs up as people drive by. Really enjoy being one of the very few who has one even in Miami. All the other nice cars are a dime a dozen. Strongly suggest everyone get one especially if you live in weather that allows the ragtop to be down most of the time. Rev that engine and enjoy!
Totally agree, LC500 is amazing. Every time I see one, which isn't often in Ireland, I just stop and stare. Gorgeous piece of art.
Been looking forward to this review for absolutely ages. As a Lexus owner I always druel over these in the dealership. The interior really is second to none at this price point, they really deserve to sell ten times more than they will. What a car.
Adore this car. Would love to drive one one day. I'm all for a rare car so I don't mind if it stays that way, as long as they sell enough to justify it! Glad to hear it's got the jayemm seal of approval :)
Good video, really enjoyed it, Thankyou. I was in Japan a couple of years ago and I saw literally hundreds of these, mostly in black - they looked fantastic in the flesh
Great video, love watching LC 500 videos. These are my dream car, I have the SC430 and its a great daily.
Stunning sounds on the downshift and upshift clips, maybe we'll be able to pick up bargain bin examples in 15 years like the SC430?
Beautiful car. You're right, it is a shame that no one buys them.
I myself don't understand it myself either. I bought a lexus for reliability and I have been blown away by how cheap they are to run for the 3 years I've owned my 2004 ls, not one unexpected repair only maintenance. Not that a 8 cylinder is very cheap on gas but it makes up for that lower mpg in every other way. Other then the giant grill in recent years they look amazing and catch a lot of people's eye.
They're too expensive. $277000 AUD.
@footballcoreano everything you just said is wrong
@footballcoreano Where did you get "Japanese cars are unreliable" from?
@footballcoreano oh this is even better, you are writing this message in every thread praising the car. How much of a low life are you to even do it?
They are selling thousands of the LC500 every year in the US. They are quite popular.
It was great to see you in a car that brought you so much pleasure. Compared to one youTuber, you had no qualms giving it the beans as well.
The wind was the first thing I noticed because all other tests of this car have shown considerably less wind inside the cabin. There's even one with someone driving it with the top down in pouring rain and none of it enters the cabin.
Recently discovered your channel jay, I don't often subscribe to many channels , (high peak autos excepted) but I love your delivery and variety of cars driven. Keep it up although I'm glad to see not in your grey jacket this time lol.
Thanks Alan, welcome :)
there's a few near where I live, particularly striking in the yellow... Not hard to miss
I have a yellow one
I love the LC500. I only removed it from my wishlist because I thought they were not offering it any more and next to none were available used. Maybe they stopped offering the coupe, wish I would prefer. RC-F is still on my wishlist.
JayEmm has the best audio in reducing outside noise whenever he is in a car. Here he is, with the convertible open, and you do not hear any wind noise.
I’m organising a test drive in an 21 model coupe ASAP as I think it will be an ideal car for my needs. Really love the looks, sound and you’re right about the dealers - they have been exceptional when I was shopping for a new family car recently
Started looking at the lc500 coupe in the last few months and can't help but want one. Many of the reasons you state in your review draw me to it, unique drive train, quality interior, g'ness. There are a few used examples on auto trader around the 45-55k price. Sorely tempted is an understatement!
Interesting review Jay. I especially like it when you wrung it out! Still, despite the fact that I am 70 years old I’m evidently not old enough to drive an old person’s car yet. This one has typical Japanese styling and I don’t like all that vehicular weight. It would still take a base 718 Boxster (which I own) over this car and save a “few” thousand. Anyway, nice presentation.
More fantastic content from the channel :-)
Lexus are unfairly underrated in the UK, I’m on my second IS300h and it’s just a lovely car to drive daily, with a well balanced chassis, rear wheel drive and great damping.
I can’t fathom why Lexus haven’t bought the latest gen IS to the UK, they sold really well but I think they put their eggs in the ES300h basket - which is a great car but far too big, the range needs a junior exec saloon
I bought my Sport+ coupe in January and still really enjoying it. Great quality, and it seems to be a perfect GT to me!
I'm 27, and your comments regarding not appealing to younger people are absolutely correct, the car gets so much attention from older people everywhere I go in it, but people my age are pretty much indifferent and my mates can't understand why I swapped my F-Type R for it.
Lexus Relax should be a huge selling point really, especially for a car in this price range. It's applicable for both new and used cars so could even go some way in keeping the residuals up.
I think the LC500 is my dream car and I am a total car nerd. I think the problem is the car is too understated for youth, and old person spec versions tarnish its coolness. Will you modify? Checkout the Tom's body kit (diffuser, side skirts, spoiler, front lip ) with some deep rims
it instantly turns into a JDM future classic
@@Welsh_Veteran_420_Z Agreed. I didn't modify mine when I had it, I sold it 18 months ago and got a Giulia Quadrifoglio, which has been nothing but trouble, but glorious on the rare occasion it's all working. The complete opposite of the Lexus really!
One of my favourite current cars. I’ve not seen the convertible in real life but I have sat in the coupe and instantly fell in love….
its one hell of a car, has been the dream car of mine since I was younger
stepping into my last year of highschool, I still hope I get a chance of buying one when I gain success in life!
The catch 22 of this car. Nobody buys it new because everyone expects it would be an amazing value for a fraction of its asking price at 7-10 years time because of the charismatic engine and reputation for reliability. The few people that bought them new decide to keep them longterm because they are rare, reliable and special. As a result the day the production ends used prices skyrocket, supply is very low so the amazing value at a fraction of its price bit never happens. However early v8 lc's are already at mid 50s and they are really tempting. If people are expecting r230 or x150 levels of depreciation I think they are in for a bitter surprise. The market has moved on an these are much rarer and more niche products.
Too bad about the wind deflector though an effective deployable always there solution would be expected at that level
The coupe is around 50% at 4 years old and seem to be falling a few thousand a month, they will hit maybe £40k in a year or so and slow and eventually plateau at around £30-35k, but a 6 year old one with 30k miles and 4 years of warranty for £35k or roughly 30% of retail still seems pretty tempting
@@yeahno.... I think the depresiation will stop the moment the production ends like the lfa, unless the successor is equally striking and equiped with a na v8.
@@apostolis2939 yes it’s an interesting conundrum but they are a popular car in other parts of the world so that might be a while away, but the 350 might stay and the v8 be stopped
@@yeahno.... I just checked mobile.de ,which has examples from most of europe, for fun and there are 49 lc's for sale, from those 20 are in dealer lots brand new and only 4 are hybrids. So i think dropping the v8 would be a mistake as I don't believe it has any impact to the fleet average.
The popularity in other markets is a bit academic because most buyers would rather pay more for a car thats right her right now than pay less for one on the other side of the atlantic and deal with the import hustle, plus the uk is rhd so that narrows the import options a lot
At £140,000 GBP here in Oz it isn't a 'reasonable price' ☹️
And your SL63 is how much?
This is a perfect car not to pay full price for as new - reliable and durable, with a great dealer and servicing network underpinning the brand. Some great used examples will be available at good prices from trusted sources in the next few years.
Yep. Stupidly expensive new, and no Lexus is comparable to MB. The cheapest one in Aus 2nd hand is £70000
@@MRFUCKOFF202 A 2016 with 70,000km is $170,000 AUD (£90,000 GBP). Also not reasonable.
@@cwang6951 "...no Lexus is comparable to MB..." Do you mean performance or build quality?
I saw the hardtop version of this the other day. Holy strawberry it looks amazing.
Great looking thing. I manage to drive my SLK top down year round when it isn't raining and don't feel too cold. I would struggle without a wind deflector though..
Test driving one in the Uk next week. If I like, I will order one. Madness? Decadence? Yes,perhaps, but life is for living, and as I approach 60, I want to start to live life to the full while I can. Great review, as ever.
Was not expecting that exhaust, sounds awesome
I quite enjoy James review of some of my favorite automotive delights. Although I may not see eye to eye with his quirky shirt choices, I do however agree with his appreciation for petrol powered vehicles and hope we can find a way to hold onto the combustion engine possibly using a more eco friendly fuel source. Cheers.
Love the car and love Lexus but my experience of a Lexus dealer (Stockport) was terrible. Lost service books and inventing an oil leek to try to get me to buy an extended warranty.
1Uz is one of the best sounding v8 engine's
Like the look of it but that colour clash between the centre console and the rest of the interior would keep me awake at night long after I'd managed to forget that shirt!
Beautiful car in every colour I have seen, especially the green
I'm in the queue for one in Australia. 2023 is the expected delivery. Worth it. I don't expect to ever replace it. Being peak Toyota, it should last until next century.
You are so so wrong, this is definitely a future classic! A car that actually is built right from the ground up. It’s beautiful!
Not driven one, but the LC500 V8 convertible is one of my dream cars, I simply love the way it looks and sounds.
That is the best explanation of rear seat room I have ever heard on UA-cam. Succinct and informative, take note other car reviewers. Customers of sports cars are interested how big the back seats are as most of them have young families.
customers of real sportscars dont give a crap about the backseats. useless space and weight. and if you buy a family hauler that also should be sporty, you are already making compromises that most real sportscars won't allow for
@@hazardeur where is this definition of "customers of real sports cars". Oh I just realised it's made up by you. Well done.
@@jamescollinge9082 you can talk around it all you like but at the end of the day there are sportscars and sporty cars. The two are very different. If you mention sports cars, as you did, you are missing the point because customers of dedicated sports cars don't care much about backseats and in most cases they prefer even to have none as it's useless weight for most. Bascially, they are glorified grocerie storing space in most of the dedicated sports cars because no one ever sits there and no one cares how big they are
Is a 911 GTS a sports car?
@@jamescollinge9082 that's an interesting one. personally, i'd say since it's a hybrid of a GT and a sportscar, it usually leans more towards the sport, just with added comfort. But we all know that nowadays the true porsche sports cars are the gt's and the turbos and of course the boxter/spyders which to me are the truest sportscars (in the sense of the name) that porsche produces nowadays.
Excellent and honest review, many thanks!
There was a link somewhere to remove the fuse for the exhaust sound limiter so it goes super loud, super fruity all of the time. And the fuse removal doesn’t put the engine warning light on. It’s as if lexus engineers intended for you to remove it!
That's so Japanese... are you sure it works on the convertible though?
@@JayEmmOnCars If such a thing works on the regular LC, Lexus wouldn't have changed the way the fuses operate for the convertible im sure.
@@JayEmmOnCars it’s not a fuse you remove, it’s a plug in the exhaust. You shut the car off and the exhaust valve will open. You then unplug the lead into the exhaust and wrap it in electrical tape to protect it. Now when you start the car there is no power to the valve so it’s stays open twenty four seven. And yes there is no warning light. Not sure where this dude came up with the fuse theory though. I own a 2021 LC.
Edit, yes it works the same on the coupe and convertible .
Having driven this car myself there are some key areas I disagree on. Wind is nowhere near as bad as you make it out to be. Climate control in the car is excellent at keeping the driver warm with the roof down.
Also, the gears…hitting the speed limit = 3rd gear or more likely 4th, not 2nd.
🤷🏻♂️
At 14:27, you can see it has a wind deflector, between the seat 'humps' .It just doesn't seem to do much!
You are right that this car seems to be very windy inside! For a company known for their refinement, & at £100k, this seems very, very odd!
Amazing car! Buying the LC 500 coupe as my military retirement gift! My last V8 was a 2006 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition.
Idk if I'm considered a young person, but I'm definitely not a retiree. 35 yrs old here. Placed my deposit for the 2024 convertible this past week-I wanted the updated infotainment system. I admit though that it was not a car I had considered until a retiree friend of mine, in South Florida (lol at the stereotype), let my wife and me cruise around with it, and it was an experience like no other. I like fast cars and knowing I could smoke the guy next to me (thinking back at my early JDM days), but at the end of the day, I'm not going to be tracking the cars that I buy. I was looking at the C8 Corvette, but soon realized that I was getting a Cobalt level service across these Chevy dealerships. 718s are too expensive in the USA (they're like 30% cheaper in Europe), and they're everywhere. I like driving something most people don't own. And bonus: it's a family car. I can fit my 1 yr old back there. The design is beautiful and eccentric, yet, somehow mature. A Corvette is bad ass looking, but I wouldn't say pretty. This car here is a Naboo fighter, and a Corvette is an X-Wing. I wish the red interior was an option with the yellow exterior though. I think the color configurations show that it's aimed at older people.
I love the LC500 , test drove one last year but found its a car that manages to be too big and too small at the same time. Preferred the RCF
That is a gorgeous car. The detail and quality is outstanding. Design theatre everywhere. As you say, £100k is a lot of money, and a catalogue of alternatives.
Liking the review and with upto 10 years warranty that is a great proposition for long term ownership, I would love one of these as it such a good looking car with great proportions.
Spot on review. And as you said it won’t break-that adds a great deal of value.
I bought one.. I'm 38.. yes the wind deflector makes all the difference in the world
As for heating and cooling, it would seem your test car lacks the heated and ventilated seats and lacks the hot and cool air airscarfs--which make heating and cooling very nice.
I think it's the best convertible GT in the world right now... although the new SL is pretty amazing. Anyway, I'd choose an LC over a Targa, even. Only problem is I don't think I'd go for the convertible over the incredible looking coupe.
Great taste in shirts, I have that one too. PS love the Lexus LC. Keep up the great work.
I'm auctioning my '00 NSX to buy one of these cars, in nightfall mica (blue) with caramel (tan) interior.
Although it would be nice if they fixed the transmission overheating issue that a few people have observed.
Great review on it, but i prefer the GS F. It has a similar(same?), 4 door, and uber rare. That induction noise has a whiff of LFA about it
I am looking for a used one and what i find fantastic is Lexus give a free Warranty Yes have it serviced and Warranty is free up to 10 years old
Well, I just bought one. Picking it up on Saturday. I’m turning 50 years old soon, and it’s exactly the car I’m looking for. A luxury sport GT convertible. I love the fact that not many people have one. It’ll be a unique car in the neighborhood, and not a dime a dozen BMW, Porsche, or MB. Cant wait to pick it up.
It would be a tragedy for sure if that was true. But I see them ALL OVER California. San diego, Bay Area, palm desert, of course la area too, Carmel pebble beach, Santa Barbara, every where I have gone I see them fairly frequently. Beautiful cars.
That's great to hear, some people just have Class
This will be the perfect used car in 3-5 years. I could see myself picking one up in 8-10 years time when I have the funds to do so. Provided that the values are reasonable (under $50,000) and costs like fuel and potential taxes aren't too high.
It's a really nice GT convertible. It's pretty similar to the old X150 and X100 XKs. It has a really nice sound to it as well. In 20 years time I sort of want one when I can afford one.
Im 37 and this is on my list of cars to consider as i think its one of the best-looking cars out, well the hard top anyway
Never heard of that warranty plan. Is that only available in the UK?
I own a 2011 ISF - best car I have ever owned and in its 10 year history has not had ANYTHING go wrong( still under warranty till 2022). I would go for one of these to replace it (not that I think I could ever part with the ISF) secondhand these are already down to £55K.... so tempting...
Agree that having now had 4 mk8 Golfs added to our fleet the touch pad in the Lexus we have suddenly got a whole lot better.
seeing Carrera in the rain with its soft top up gives me the horn thank you very much
What an informative entertaining review 👍
Glad you liked it!
Nobody, well I just did last week , trading in my Vette w 19k on it. The Lexus is drop dead beautiful I’m happy only 55 we’re sold last year. I like exclusiveness and the subtle status that comes with it.Currently will have 4 Lexus’s when this one comes in. They’re that good🏖️
This car but in the yellow colour, absolutely stunning vehicle. Its pretty much a concept car you can own and drive. In 20-30 years this car will still look good. And since its a Lexus, it'll probably work perfecty
Agreed on color. What interior?
hey Jay what is this grandfather bit? I am 76, I have the fastest MGTF at the local hillclimb, I got 1st in my class at the large MG Annual meeting for on track attack in Perth WA. I am in the top 40 cars at the last Noosa hillclimb I attended out of 300 vehicles. Fastest in class at Maryborough. And to get an MGTF 160 to go fast you have to beat the car into submission. (A few little tweeks also helps :) )
I don't know if it's a UK thing or a press car thing, but mine in the US came with the wind deflector for the rear. It really does make a big difference. With the deflector installed and the windows up I can have an indoor voice conversation with the passenger at 70mph on the highway. I used to have shoulder length hair and it wouldn't move at all.
And a baseball cap solves the head wind issue.
...now..where did I store my Hawaiian shirts..thanks again Jay..from a bloke in the USA..who was somehow born ..over there.. in Northampton..
James where has your Fiesta ST Mk7 review gone? Can't find it anywhere on UA-cam.
Great review
I think this is your craziest shirt yet!
However if I had the money I would get an LC in a heartbeat.
By far the best looking car to come out of Japan (or possibly anywhere) in a very long time. Love it!
What a coincidence, I saw an LC500 on the way home a few minutes ago and thought it surprising that someone had bought one.
Love the car (and the shirt), but like the Camaro, I wish the car were 20% smaller. It looks great in photos but is just huge in person.
