The plaintiff says she’s known the defendants for years and loaned them money around the holidays. She claims they’re now taking advantage of her compassion by failing to repay her, so she’s suing them. The defendants say the plaintiff gave them the money as a Christmas gift and then turned around two years later and said it was a loan.
