I really think she didn't fight hard enough for her kids but I want to point out that she's 25 and has an 8 year old. That means she was 17 when she gave birth, and depending on the timing that could mean she was pregnant when she was 16. That's really young to have kids and it is possible that her husband was older and more controlling/abusive. Abusers are often great at masking who they are behind closed doors (been there myself) so it *is* possible that he got custody in a shady manner. And/or that he always was good to the kids so she thinks he won't hurt them. However, I don't think any of us here have enough information to determine any of that either way. She's given up, for whatever reason, and that's honestly awful. You would have to kill me before I left my 2 kids, who are actually about the same age. So I think it's fair to be judgemental of that. However, we don't know that the father wasn't abusive either so yeah.
The plaintiff is a great example of how being a mother isn't just about giving birth. The children are probably best away from her. Bravo to the father who stepped in and put that court order against her.
As a foster mum as well as a bio mum I completely agree that giving birth doesn’t make you a mother. All my kids are mine in my heart and I would do anything for them. The person who gave birth to my foster kids isn’t their mother , never has been. People told me once I had a baby I would know maternal love and that it would be way better then what I felt for my foster kids. They were so wrong ! I love my bio baby with all my heart, just as I’ve always loved my foster babies.
While it’s sooo important for children to know and have a healthy connection with both parents I do agree with you. There are msg children who aren’t wanted by parents and it is sad. As a foster mum though I know not all of those children live in heartbreak and emotional pain and abuse. Many do. Too many. But there are some who find a forever home and are cherished and adored and loved/ just Not by bio parents. My foster boys are happy and settled and well adjusted. They know they have a bio mum , and see her at times, but they know me as their mum who is there every day and night the good and bad and they feel their home is with me, I realise not all foster kids have a happy ending but some do.

I left my child for 2 yrs long ago. My thoughts were only for myself. Instead of getting help w/the fact of her father and breaking up under awful circumstances...i started drinking and going out. Honestly, I regret ever leaving her...to this day. There is a rift that we are still trying to repair literally decades later. If any mom leaves...go back! Get any help you need (pray!)...but go back. Your selfish freedom is not worth the burden you leave on your child/children. When she came back we were both different ppl. I’m in a similar situation. I love my kids but recovery takes a lifetime. It hurts because I want a relationship with my daughter. She’s not ready to forgive and maybe never will 😢

I went to a recovery center for 14 months and learned so much about both the addiction process and recovery process. There are so many denial systems to break down...and yes it is life long ❤️. Do not be discouraged when it comes to your daughter. Just for her to know your desire for reconciliation will move mountains. It has taken decades for my girl and I to get here...where she is finally seeing those mountains move! Not a lie, I literally left a bank for this very reason. They limit how far back you can get your records. If you go into the branch and ask for them, they can get you further back, for a processing fee. It’s another way for banks to leech money from customers. Some people who are less savvy with banking conventions might just assume that what is available on the app is all there is.

This case was way longer than it should've been. Plus throughout the years of the People's Court with judge Milian, I never understood why she gets into people's personal business asking about things that have nothing to do with the case. I don't know if she's digging for juicy gossip just to get better ratings, but having people put themselves out on blast about things that have nothing to do with the case doesn't change their circumstance or problems in those areas. Especially if you're not going to give them a solution, answers, or a helping hand to help them solve the problem.
It’s about determining someone’s tendencies and credibility to help her decide whether or not to believe their testimonies and JUDGE whether or not this person is trustworthy. Not about being nosey or getting into drama.

The kids never went to foster care and this guy and the kids timeline aren't the same. She met him years after she split with the dad...she isn't allowed to date again? MA has a record of some of the best lawyers. If I was her, I'd take advantage of the opportunity of moving to a state for work and getting help while I'm at it. She travels for work, which means she doesn't plan on staying. What is she supposed to do? Exhaust every penny she owns to lawyers while she barely makes it? The judge won't rule kids in her favor that way either. If she's sitting around, depressed, not making a good income or improving her life. She won't get the kids that way either. One of the dogs is already stated to be a service dog for her, she didn't buy a designer dog. It's not uncommon for people to get their dog a companion either. That's like saying instead of buying herself a house, she should've used that money for her kids. Kids cost way more than a couple of dog, and so to lawyers. She's allowed to be happy and have a life while stuck with not being able to see her kids, for whatever the reason is. I wouldn't talk about my PRIVATE situation either on nat TV, let alone sit around and cry about it.
I've worked in property mgt before. I;ve never heard of refunding security deposits on a renewal and asking for a new security deposit. Increase maybe but never a refund and repay.

@@gingerbakerbarrett4941 getting past the first steps of getting through to her...may be difficult. Sometimes the emotions may be so intense that it feels like a lost cause. But that is never true. I went to a recovery center for 14 months and learned so much about both the addiction process and recovery process. There are so many denial systems to break down...and yes it is life long ❤️. Do not be discouraged when it comes to your daughter. Just for her to know your desire for reconciliation will move mountains. It has taken decades for my girl and I to get here...where she is finally seeing those mountains move!

Under normal circumstances, if both parents are equally responsible, the man doesn’t get custody so your question is irrelevant if not ridiculous. Not a lie, I literally left a bank for this very reason. They limit how far back you can get your records. If you go into the branch and ask for them, they can get you further back, for a processing fee. It’s another way for banks to leech money from customers. Some people who are less savvy with banking conventions might just assume that what is available on the app is all there is.

This case was way longer than it should've been. Plus throughout the years of the People's Court with judge Milian, I never understood why she gets into people's personal business asking about things that have nothing to do with the case. I don't know if she's digging for juicy gossip just to get better ratings, but having people put themselves out on blast about things that have nothing to do with the case doesn't change their circumstance or problems in those areas. Especially if you're not going to give them a solution, answers, or a helping hand to help them solve the problem.
It’s about determining someone’s tendencies and credibility to help her decide whether or not to believe their testimonies and JUDGE whether or not this person is trustworthy. Not about being nosey or getting into drama.
Sometimes she is being nosey and she will say that she’s only asking cause she’s curious and not because it’s relevant to the case at all

She def focused more on that than the case itself. She wasn't obligated to stay in the lease if her safety was at risk. She already had police reports on the guy, I wouldn't want to stay either. She said he knew she was moving out on Jan, just bc she needed time to get her finances together to do so didn't mean he didn't have a time frame. If she's sitting around, depressed, not making a good income or improving her life. She won't get the kids that way either. One of the dogs is already stated to be a service dog for her, she didn't buy a designer dog. It's not uncommon for people to get their dog a companion either. That's like saying instead of buying herself a house, she should've used that money for her kids. Kids cost way more than a couple of dog, and so to lawyers. She's allowed to be happy and have a life while stuck with not being able to see her kids, for whatever the reason is. I wouldn't talk about my PRIVATE situation either on nat TV, let alone sit around and cry about it.
