50 BMG Sighting in a Barrett w/ Vortex Viper PST Gen II

Hit the range with some friends. Lots of fun toys, but the Barrett 50 BMG was a hit. Had to zero in the new scope and then I let others play.

I believe it was the vortex scope rings at 1 1/4”, but I’ll double check when I’m back at the outpost again.
I also used a lapping tool to get the best grip from the rings. It is worth the extra effort for such a large recoil rifle.

Nice, how many yards did you sight in at? Also, how did you bore sight it? I see many people just look down the barrel to do it.

I sighted it in at 60 yards. Next I will be going to a 100/500/1000 yard range (possible 1 mile).
As for sighting it in, I just took a shot and dialed it from there. It started high left, dialed it, went high (lower) right, and cleaned it up form there. Once it was on it was a tack driver.
