I just bought their ULR-X variant. Didn't like the idea of pulling out the bolt. Nothing wrong with the idea, just a preference. It wont be shipped out until early May, though. Which is good cause that dented my wallet pretty hard and made me put a down payment on the thing. So it made chewing on the bill that much better for my case. Ordered my ULR 50 from Noreen 3 weeks ago. Went with the camo instead of black. Should have her in about another 2-3 weeks. Went with the Vortex Venom 5x26x50. I can’t wait to shoot her….. great vid man.

Picked up one of these beauties a few weeks ago and my Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25x50mm just came in today for it. Now to mount it... Since the cheek rest on the stock isnt adjustable, what mount/rings did you use for your setup that lined up nicely with your eye and line of sight through your scope? Also, im diggin' that table/chair combo. Mind sharing what your using there? Thanks! Enjoyed the vid. 👍
Thanks for watching! The scope mount is Aero Precision with a 1.5” rise. The part number is APRA210500. For me it’s absolutely perfect! The table is Caldwell Stable Table Lite. It works very well and I have had no issues with it for the 2 years I have had it.
It does push inward for storage. You remove two cotter pins and slide it forward to a second set of holes. The cotter pins then go back in and lock it into place.
Why does no manufacturer make a break open 50 BMG like the old break open 12 gauge break open H&R? I know the Kick would be horrible, but still should be a Real Poor Man's 50. Be safe my friends.
Only thing I don't like is there is no support of the barrel other than the recieever and extension. The reciever sages at the extension after a period. Thats too much weight to support

Sorry to comment on a year old video but what would be a good optic to match with one of these ULRs.
I have a vortex on mine, but any good quality glass will work. Just don’t skimp on the magnification if you plan to shoot past 300 yards.

Anything vortex has decent bang for your buck. Just depends on how much you want to spend.

I never noticed that. Most people prefer the barrel to not have anything touching it, but that is a lot of weight!
@@Freedom-us3zr I have 3. All are supported at 1/3 the barrel length. Things live longer when supported and remain straight.
