I had so much fun making this video! I hope you enjoyed it and thanks for watching! 🔥
I most likely will
more fun than last time's for sure
Will you ever shoot a Rn50 again?
That intro was excellent! 🤣
Sir, you had me scared with that intro at first. God help you if you shoot that stuff again!
Honestly, I love the fact that you are able to make so many jokes about it, not feel bad about it, and continue to do what you do. I think that’s awesome. Keep on keeping on, brother!
Hey try not to be so biased to the people who don’t like that ok? 😂 it’s a joke
I love how he's still got his vigor and personality and he didn't quit YT because of his accident
@@yvngenterprise yeah lmao. Have a good one!
@@LightningTheRaiden98 yeah. He didn’t blame it on views pressuring him for anything, he just took it and let it go. Awesome.

Dude, your personality is so much fun I don't even care about the guns!... (ok, that's not true, but I still love your personality!)
i would never think that i'll see you commenting on this channel
It's a gun to coin a long distance
One of the best if not best gun channels on UA-cam Kentucky Ballistics, Hickock45, and then Demo Ranch
Gryphon who are you gonna do something with Scott?
What are you doing on her? I didn't know you watched guns and cool explosions I know your channel are you going to make more mlp gen5 and g4 contind you and apple bloom made very good music about mlp and that last song you did Higher about space including the one space station very your point of view of your songs are excellent .If I wrote Series it would be mlp inspired but something more different if I do write I personally believe in supernatural and paranormal stuff what have you been up to this day's?
The "Not'cho Cheese" bit never gets old. And personally, I'd go for the Barrett. Something that caliber will be 99.99% bench rest.
Such cheesy jokes. (Buh dum tiss or however that drum roll goes)
@@itrieditathome9760 Yup, it goes bun dum tiss. You got it right.
Don't stop doing the nacho cheese or watermelon time bits! I laugh every time
@Google Moderator ah yes, lets direct our anger at a small town policeman who posts gun enthusiast videos shooting $50 worth of food for the entertainment of people like me, someone several thousand miles away in a small town winding down after a hard days work in my rental home at a 40k a year job 😂 that'll fix the world.
Also, i love the nacho cheese bits too they're literally what i look forward to most when he mentions nacho cheese im like oh no hows he gonna do a bit about people talking smack this time 😂
@Google Moderator bot account. I reported you
@Google Moderator Oh yes, lets feed them highly processed nacho cheese, jello and mayo, they'll be be dead of a heart attack in no time and then we won't have to worry.
@Google Moderator meh that's boring.
@Google Moderator I'd be more concerned about the health of the Racoons, eating that garbage 😂😂
Scott is a man with great will and inspiration, he is one who survived the accident with 0.50 cal, and he still making cool positive videos for us Viewers, so lets watch and LIKE! :)

The Barrett is definitely a crowd favorite and mine as well . The noise when loading a round is like no other. Thanks Scott for the mag dumps .👍🏻👍🏻😎
The way this guy handles the kick from a .50 BMG and holds it steady freehand is actually amazing
Right!!!!! Absolute beast!!!! I love it.

Love Scott's humor, love how people accuse Scott of being scared of his .50 because he only shoots bigger guns to end videos lately, and... c'mon, this is a comedy show, guys! Why do y'all bully Scott?
Right. And I'm sure those running their mouths just disregard the fact that even though he almost lost his life he still posts great pew pew vids for us all at his own risk.
I'm 99% sure he made that up for the video. I read the comments as well and all I've seen has been support.
@@getchasome6230 There's a few, probably. If you sort by new you should find some.
I can almost guarantee most people are just joking and Scott knows that and most likely finds it funny

You got eyes in that head o' yours?
Better luck taking on a rhino with slingshot and some water balloons!
Screw the haters brother. Your resilience has been noticed by your true fans from the moment you got back from the incident. Keep doing God's work brother 😎
Right
Haters? Who’d admit to being a hater of a guy who shoots a .50BMG off hand like it’s a dang AR??
I love how Scott is the Marty mcfly of UA-cam. “Nobody calls me chicken”
This is true
I love how he still jokes about the slap rounds even though it nearly killed him
He's literally just having the most amount of fun you possibly could with this. Listen to that laughter, pure unfiltered fun.
My 50 BMG 5 shot 8" revolver is fun.
I agree with you
Ignore the haters, Scott. You shoot what you want to shoot, and we'll love you all the same. Still, it's awesome to see that you've got so much to laugh about when it comes to 50 Cal and SLAPs!
What haters?

i love the slomo of the barrett... cycle's perfect, and the charging handle smacks the brass and moves it away from the shooter... such a beautiful design
I always wondered why the charging handle was Z shaped. Never knew it also was the deflector for the spent brass too. Very cool design
Friend, I'm still thinking that we went this close to not having you anymore. I know I'm just a random person on the intrawebs, but, man, it puts things into perspective. How something that happens geographically so far way from me can still ripple and affect so many people.
Happy you still here, boss!
Also, yay for another "jetpack for skinnies" video!
Nice!!!!
You and me both. I'm glad to see this man had his father there to help him. Scott's video's are relaxing and tbh what I'd be doing if I owned any firearms. Me and my uncle would go out and do things like this and it feels like his situation could honestly happen to anyone. I'm not a godly man but if there is a higher power I'm glad they steped in to help scott that day. It is weird to have feelings of brotherhood with a complete stranger but honestly this guy seems down to earth and worth the worry. I hope you and your family are well and have a wonderful 2022.

“Scott. You scared me so bad. And I’m glad you are able to shoot your 50 caliber again and I really like this video.”
This is from my youngest.
Glad to see you back on the 50 cal horse.
Good on you for sticking with Serbu, he's a genius, and it's a tragedy what had happened! Glad you are well! Keep it up!
And I hope they correct the design with some fail-safe reliefs that don't include blowing the rear cap off.
@@exothermal.sprocket The gun was already very safe, as all are if they come from a reliable company/person, which would be Serbu. The problem is that the round was a very hot round that who knows what could've happened to it before it got into his hands. It has nothing to do with the gun's safety, if the amount of pressure is over what the gun is made for, it will explode. No matter what. That's how pressure works.
@@gabrieldietz5315 I don't think you understand firearms industry testing very well. I'm also a mechanical engineer at my day job.
Modern firearms all have built into their designs the ability to handle over-pressure hazards. They have intentional reliefs/weak points in the action designed to fail first, a chain of failures if you will. Why? So you don't have unfortunate things like a heavy metal cap blast into your face, a bolt launch out of the receiver like a torpedo, or metal shrapnel exploding into your arms or face. Ammunition manufacturers have highly scrutinized processes to control factories, track lots, prevent mistakes. These SLAP rounds were not from some factory, they were an unknown factor. As such they became dangerous and Serbu is liable for their design in that the first thing to let go is exactly what let go. Other companies have a drilled relief port which is a failure point designed to move excess pressure away from your body and face. If things go very badly with someone's ammunition the rifle MUST fail in a predictable way, a safe-as-possible way.
He might be sticking with serbu but he's not shooting the same model. I wouldn't be surprised if the screw on end cap model is a thing of the past for Scott and who can blame him? Also have you seen any of his buddies fire one after the accident? I think that one has been voluntarily pulled off of UA-cam. Those slap rounds also appear to be gone from the tube of yutes.
@@tomisamish I've watched several UA-camrs opinions on the matter 8 months ago about what was most likely to have happened based on what they knew about SLAP ammo and the evidence Scott provided in his before/after video. One of the best explanations I saw from a channel is no longer available so he probably removed it since then. SLAP are dangerous due to several factors, one being some of them are booby-trapped by being filled with TNT instead of carefully measured smokeless. The idea was to sabotage enemies who got a hold of some of the cartridges in combat. The other theory is that the sabot plastic was starting to lay down in the bore of the gun resulting in a terrible loss of accuracy (what Scott indicated before the BOOM). Another theory was that the tungsten carbide had contacted the barrel bore and caused damage. Some way or another the explosion was a terrible over-pressure event (either bore obstruction or TNT booby trap). The gun was not designed to handle severe over pressure. It didn't have a design built in for predictable failure, ei. pressure relief port, intentionally weak zone. The weakest thing was the threading on the breach cap.
I think Scott took a break from the 50 cal to try out some new guns, and to heal physically and mentally. I commend Scott for not making videos during his recovery, by showing off some friends of his and others. Great Scott
I watch these videos and the only thing I see is a man who's happy to be alive. He knows God was with him and and kept him alive through the accident is clearly thankful for it, there's no point throwing that blessing away by dropping the thing he loves. Scott, if you read this, praise God and keep doing the things you love. God is good and I'm thankful you're still with us.
All that red white and blue destruction from a 50 cal after the mayo is truly American. Love what you do
These intros will never get old to me, so much fun. your humor when shooting really makes my day.

Scott: "Needs a little oil"
Also Scott: Proceeds to "slam fire" the .50

Well I hear honey badgers eat rusty nails, so there's that...
...Yep, that happened.
Another great video Scott and Dad, keep them coming, thank you
Your enthusiasm and genuine reactions are amazing an so much fun to watch!
I noticed the brass ejection when you did the mag dumps was different between the two. The Serbu flung the brass back at you a bit more while the Barrett's weird charging handle flicks the brass away from you. That a cool design.
Listen closely and they both sound like a flag pole blowing in the wind.
Recoil operated Barrett and gas operated Serbu give you different ejection as well.
Barrett also tossed the shells in a more consistent direction
The .50 cal just screams AMERICA 🇺🇸 Love your channel Scott!!
Hell Yeah! Since 1918. Production in 1921. The development was reputedly influenced by Germany's 13.2x92 mm SR (.53-cal.) anti-tank rifle. Also said to be influenced by the French 11 mm design.
Just getting to see this. Stuck on the couch with a flare-up from a chronic illness and this made me laugh out loud. People gave Mark Serbu a hard time after your accident; however, everything i've seen on the BFG-50A leads me to believe it has superior accuracy due to a fixed barrel design. Honestly, if I were buying one, I'd buy the Serbu BFG-50A.
So happy to see how well you’re doing these days.
