  • Hi there, wonderful people!
I created this video to empower victims of narcissistic abuse to change their lives for the better. EVERYTHING starts with self-love.
Narcissists have too much of it and empaths usually don't have enough, which results in them not standing up for themselves and consequently allowing the narcissists to walk all over them.
I really hope you find the tips in this video useful!
If you haven't yet, feel free to check out my short film Your Reality which showcases narcissistic abuse and gaslighting in a romantic relationship: • Your Reality | Award-w...

Self love is essential otherwise people just go from bad relationship to bad relationship. We have to do the inner works so our romantic relationships don’t reflect the chaos and pain of our childhood.

Definitely you put your finger over it!!! The best explanation I ever heard. People with highself steem are not victims of narcissistic abuse. Therefore they believe it is not possible. Second, victims have a trend to be revictimized and not only by the narcissist but other types of abusers because of their self image and view of the world.

My mantra when things were really bad was to say "I love myself, I am enough." Over and over until I believed it. Now I do, but still have a long way to go before all of the damage is healed. Find pieces of me that need tlc every day. And having friends who understand helps tremendously.

That’s really helpful! Thanks a lot for sharing - I think mantras can be very effective! And yes - trying to surround yourself with friends who are supportive can make a huge difference!

I think your childhood plays a massive part. If you grow up learning those neural pathways, that you're not worthy, that you need to people please etc, it makes abuse the "normal" in your brain.

Wow I really needed to see this!! Just got out of a relationship, it was manipulative, gaslighting etc. I'm wanting to fast forward a few months so I feel somewhat like me again, but I know it takes time to heal and get over it. I'm really hating the whole process right now.

I'm out and, although still healing, my energy levels are going up. I am happier, lighter. I'm also working on boundaries on all aspects of life. No, I will not do that. No, I will not have that done to me. No, I will not let you treat me this way. No, I'm not going out tonight. No.
Two letters, so powerful. People pleasers finding the power of "No" works wonders!
    Let's get healthy 🎉

This is so true. I had to take a break from all the videos.. Michelle Lee, and Katy Morton and the Crappy Childhood Fairy are also good on this topic. Not a fan of the Royal We as he has some inconsistencies in his rhetoric. Not sure he's trained in this either. The others are. But the subconscious is definitely a part of that. My dad is a narc and I married one. The one I married definitely was the one who obviously could tell my self-esteem was low. I prefer to be alone bc I am so afraid of people. My best friend and my dog really help me. My mom was genuine to me.

We have been mainly talking here and in comments of the “your really” video about gaslighting within the intimate relationship. What about gaslighting from you family members, parents, or gaslighting at work from the colleagues or bosses. How that would look like and how to deal with that? 🙏🏻

I think your videos are extremely important. I wish, Your Reality & Self Love videos could be played to fifteen year old boys & girls. And advice & guidance given to teenagers how to protect themselves from narcissistic personalities.
I’ve had a very sad life. I’m highly educated, but I’ve always fallen down hard with guys who have abused me.
My father & mother were abusive & sadly, my sister.
I thought that by being highly educated I would never meet violent partners. Sadly, I did & one of them went to somewhere like Harvard university.
I sadly even attract extremely bad behaviour from people in all walks of life.
I live now as a recluse. Waiting for another medical negligence event to happen.
    Please pray for me.

So sorry to hear you've had an abusive childhood. If abuse is all you see when you grow up, it may seem incredibly difficult to break the cycle and attract people who are good for you - however, it is possible! A lot of it is about changing your subconscious beliefs about relationships and about what you deserve.
Sending you lots of hugs and love!

You were in an episode of Black Mirror, I recognized you immediately. That WAS my favorite episode, until I got my heart ripped out by the girl I watched it with. 😮‍💨. Didn't help that everywhere we went, we kept hearing "Heaven is a Place on Earth." Then, the week she broke it off, on my way home, I look up at the billboard to see: Guess who's coming to play at the state fair that week? I almost didn't make it out of that one.... but I did. 😉
