This video was extremely helpful for me. I’m currently going through a very nasty, bitter contested divorce from a narcissist. I filed for divorce after 35 years of marriage and seven years of dating. This person has been the only person I’ve ever been with. I am struggling seeing him move on with someone else and she is posting it on social media. He’s had other affairs before her, and yet there is a very big part of me that wishes he would come back. Listening to Kevin’s explanation about the differences in what I want out of a relationship and who I am as a person versus who my partner is and how they see life and relationships was eye-opening! Thank you Tatjana and Kevin for this extremely helpful and informational video on narcissism.

The sooner you get it over with, and the less time you spend on him or even thinking or talking about him, the sooner you'll find peace.

Loved your film, and this is great too… it’s great that you are adding this kind of content to go along with your film. It’s so important. I think learning about narcissism is something children should do. It’s so misunderstood as being vanity. Narcissism is the biggest problem on this earth, in my opinion. A channel I highly recommend is HG Tudor, he is a psychopathic narcissist and his channel teaches the ins and outs of narcissism that has helped me so much. Yes he also has a lot of videos on Meghan markle, who is an excellent case study for a mid range narcissist and he uses other public figures like Donald trump and Amber Heard, but he also has so much content about the different facets on narcissism, for instance, “The Truth, The Half Truth and Nowhere near the truth.” That video is one of many that has stuck with me. He’s excellent, he knows his kind. Anyway thanks so much, this was really interesting and so true about families - we can create our own. Relationships should be healthy and happy and if you can’t get that from your traditional family, create a healthy and happy friend family ☺️

I am new to your channel and this is so great. I would love to know how do you really fully heal from severe childhood trauma, sexual abuse,then happening into your twenties? I bury it deep inside me,but it literally haunts me, nightmares ECT. I can't bring myself to talk to my psychiatrist I've had over 10 years. Of course this is barely telling my story. I'm 47 now and have no relationship with my family members, I attempted to forgive,but if they can't recognize what they did, I am better off without them.

My father was diagnosed with BPD one of his personalities is totally narc. 47 years of Marriage. A few months ago an old girlfriend reached out to him. Now he and this woman are trying to have a love triangle with my mom after flaunting their relationship. At first He kept trying to get me to give him advice. He only did this to have a scapegoat. I’m proud of my mom for not dragging me into their relationship for the first time in their marriage. Being raised by two traumatized emotionally unhinged parents is difficult but being the only child of 5 to see the reality of it is almost isolating. I really appreciate the part about our chosen family vs. our blood relation. It is ok to walk away from them and not have contact. It’s actually the most healthy thing I have done mentally.

Love your work tatjana...I have CPTSD now. I have rejection from my siblings too- totally -I just wrote a poem on Invisible. But I have been reactive and in a way it comes off abusive too- when your brain totally protects itself. I wasn't that way until so many bad things happened so I am reaching out to get help so I don't react. I hate reacting. But Royal We was talking about how that one case (Rittenhouse) and that it was toxic that if you believed he was bad. I think he was bad. So that part made me really disappointed - he tends to think EVERYTHING is abuse if you don't agree w/him and he also uses religion. I am not religious. So it's kind of offensive. Narc abuse can come from girls but Men have been my culprit.

Tatjana I thank you for the time and effort. You are amazing! I moved away from social interaction about 3 years ago and live off grid in Victoria Australia. I think escaping is not that easy as we take our mind with us to all places. For me adoption is a good issue to discuss as all situations are different and very complex. My adopted mother was a narcissist to the max! She was 58 when she adopted me and had 3 daughters 25 years older than me... the abuse emotional and physical was a bit too much to bare. But here I am.. 52yo have 3 kids 29,27,26yo pushing through pain and smiling! Thanks again and keep shinning 🙏🤩

Okay your videos are growing on me. With my grandma gaslighting my mom and aunt I’m kind of learning a lot and it’s hard after years of dealing with this there’s no right way to get out of the situation after 50+ years of it affecting the family. I just try to stay away. But no matter what family is important you just can’t let them get to you.

my wife beat me...i would stop her then i was the abuser. She knew i would not hit or hurt her so she hit me . The she became obsessed with true crime and started telling me i would do whatever crazy true crime thing she was watching. I'm like...say what? Nope...then she told me if I kept not doing what she wants it would be my fault she went to prison for murdering me. I'm like. huh...She kept at it telling me she was going to murder me so...I left her after 36 years of marriage.

Hey girl, I have a channel that's still a baby, but I expect it to grow into something big. At least I hope it does, my channel is based on addiction and the first person view into the life I live as a heroin and meth addict. Your video on gaslighting was something I really enjoyed watching as I could relate to it very deeply.
Something I want to accomplish with my channel is breaking the stero types that comes from with addiction and I want to show the ugly unseen side of the life but also the beautiful journey and freedom that addiction can also give people. I divorced a narc and he's remarried and I totally get that one. But the parents kids thing I don't agree with unless of course it's narc- but if it's abandonment - no I don't agree. There is gray.

One more thing- KIDS can be NARCS too! I sacrificed for my kids. They left me alone w/health issues- I do think there is a duty to care for single older woman (like in Asian cultures) There is a gray area here. Nothing to do w/narcissism. I am totally harmed by what my oldest son did - not my youngest who also left. He didn't take advantage. No one calls names though.
Yes , kids can turn out to be NARC too.
I'm a father & my kids don't have autism. So if there is any shortcomings in them, i first blame myself & my ex, and then the education system & the media/culture & at the very last the kids.

I agree that kids leave...But I totally think over holidays etc...that he is wrong about leaving w/no communication and that holidays etc.is about all kinds of family...it's just not my opinion. I see so many people who love their families and stay connected- I do NOT agree w/.him. At all. My son left me and wrote a note and I totally supported him till 29. Sorry - not ok. It hurt. I also know people who move where their kids are- again, Kevin. you are WRONG.

No he is not wrong! I lived with my mother and took care of her for the past 12 years. Then my brother came in the picture and moved in to get a head start until he could find a job. My mother is 93 now and I left!!! My brother is a narcissist, does not work (has a PhD) and a squatter. He abused me physically and verbally, does the same to my mother. The arguments and fights were all about me defending my mother against his abuse. The last time he was arrested he brought my mother to testify in court against me, all lies 😢 and the judge believed her because of her age and being the only eyewitness. I was the one who left the court room with a 5 year injunction. Still, took care of my mother from a far for 3 years. Until I realized she was using me because he would not take care of her. When she ended up in the hospital from a car accident because he let her drive I had DCF involved for Elder abuse (social worker from hospital called them). She defended him and lied again! Telling me that she can't leave him (he is 54) all by himself. I left the hospital and never went back! I had my mobile network company block both her phone numbers. I did it with no regrets because I have been the best daughter to a mother that does not deserve me. Yes, he is right, I left!!!
