Dart Feld requires no introduction. He is the main character of the new PS4/PS5 remaster of Legend of Dragoon and holds the red-eyed dragon's spirit, allowing him to perform powerful fire magic. He clearly is strong, but in terms of the other characters, how does he stack up?
In this video, I'll be taking a look at his strengths and weaknesses and comparing him to Shana, Rose, Lavitz, Kongol, Meru, and Haschel. Oh and this game was on the PS1 originally. That's an algorithm thing!
Thank you to False Swipe Gaming for inspiring this style of video.

If you only level Dart on bosses throughout the game, the game becomes stupidly easy, as levels do matter and the bosses provide a ton of experience. If you kill your two party members, Dart gets full exp.
You’re a MONSTER
@@tantacles Try it. It's the most fun I've had with the game lol.
Whoa, I have to see how that goes. Just now got to the second disc. Does this work for any other character as far as being more superior than Dart?
Try shana or meru with consumable magic items
Letting the party die is how I caught Shana up to the rest of the party against Jiango on the 2nd trip back to Hellena. She gobbled up all 2k xp herself lol.
Still hoping for a remake of this game :c Why are they remaking 6 year old games when a masterpiece like this exists.
#metoo
They said it would be to time consuming during one of their expos
Or at least make a Dragon Campaign prequel
A remake in the style of the current star ovean 2nd story r would be so cool. I dont need a full on remake but rather a good remaster with the current tech.
And if that kicks, a new entry would be cool. Tlods story is screaming for a prequel of the first dragoon war 😭😭😭
If you equip the Tharapy Ring with the Soul Eater, it negates the life drain of the weapon.
still weaker then rose
@@Ubu90 Rose is only stronger for the final boss. Dart with Soul Eater, Magical Greaves, and Therapy ring runs circles around Rose and is achievable comparatively early.
Bandit's Shoes fix the speed issue.
Then you can’t use Bandit Shoes and it makes Dart slower. Pass.
Then you lose your accessory slot then
Worth mentioning, Dart's final addition Blazing Dynamo can't be counter-attacked, so it's pretty easy to get a consistent perfect heavy-hitting attack out with it.
This is true! I should say that I love the counter attack system. I think it makes additions a lot more fun.
Just rewind if you mess up any addition.
Not always an option!
All final additions can be countered, but I like madness hero more.
Blazing Dynamo can't be, unless by some statistical anomaly it just never happened in my recent playthrough.
Nice to see someone with so much passion for such an incredible timeless game
When are we gonna get a Legend of Dragoon remake? It's such a underrated gem.
Only God Knows
So, I don't know if this would count towards Dart's tier placement or character strength, but Dart is the only character that is ever by himself on a map with enemies, at the very beginning of the game at the forest.
The entire game's XP pools are balanced around a party of 3. The forest, being the starting area, is supposed to only give characters 1-3 XP. The way XP is given is by splitting the total pool between the party. So if an enemy encounter yields 9xp, each party member will get 3.
Because Dart is by himself at the beginning of the game, forest encounters are giving him between 6-10 XP per encounter. That may not sound like much, but numbers are generally low in Legend of Dragoon, especially early game, which means 10XP is HUGE.
Within an hour of grinding at the beginning of the game, Dart can go from lvl1 to lvl5 in under an hour, and up to lvl8 in around 2 hours, depending on how lucky you are with what encounters you get. (Two assassin cocks being the best with 10xp)
Having a 5+ level lead on all other party members makes Dart absolutely busted for 2 discs straight.
The devs of this game designed Dart to be completely average. All of his stats are set to the median. His 50 speed stat, his 7,500 HP stat... all set to the median. This is because he is locked in the party, and therefore needs to be usable in every battle. Unlike the other characters who are good in some battles, and not good in others. However... since Dart is locked in the party, he's in every battle, which means he's getting the most EXP, resulting in him being over leveled by 3 or 4 levels by the end of the game, therefore he ultimately ends up being the best character in your roster.
I’m still simping for Lavitz’s brokenness
Yasss more LoD content please! I'm gunan be releasing more too
My only complaint about the Legend of Dragoon is the 32 item limit. The soul eater can be paired with the therapy ring to prevent the damage.
My go to if I wanna use magic is Miranda. Equip her with the Amulet and Magical Hat, she gets 250 MP. That’s enough to use her Silver Dragon 3 times which, makes boss fights extremely easy (unless they have high magic def, but those are few) considering the Silver Dragon is the strongest dragon summon. Oh yeah Miranda is great. Give her the Armor of Legends and you’re set.
I kind of wish he could be changed out of the party. My ideal party would have been Rose,Meru, and Albert.
If you use an emulator you can
Meru is so good if you take the time to grind her final addition
@@blackatomizer You don't even need that, she's ridiculous fast and has powerful magic, equip acceleration accessories and she beat up all bosses on her own.
Found this channel yesterday with the blue-only Chrono Cross playthrough, and now I find out there's a boat load of LoD content on your channel too. Definitely subscribing now
Lavitz! Seeing him brought back so many memories. I had a huge crush on him. And yes when "the part" came, I cried.
If it interests you, my analysis of Lavitz comes up on monday!
Lavitz sucks because he’s insignificant and dies before the game even gets good. He survives too long when I need him at 1HP every battle so Dart can have all the Powwwuhhhh
If you give Dart the Therapy Ring when he has the Soul Eater equipped, he won't lose HP. The two things cancel each other out.
I appreciate the lack of spoilers involving *sneeze*
Excellent summary of Dart “His good but not the best”
My biggest issue with dart is that he is the main character and cannot be removed from your team, compared to other RPJ PS1 era Main characters who cannot be switched out like Cloud from FF7, Dart is average at best compared to Cloud who is well rounded and has some of the best skills
My point am trying to make is if I’m forced to use the main character at least justify the reason we need to use them, make them above the average character
Hey that was a lot of fun to watch! idk how important this feedback will be but I'm a sucker for these types of power analysis videos, I've never even played LoD but I enjoyed the video beginning to end. If you did more of these for other RPGs I'd be 100% interested in watching those!
Not to spoil things, but the plan is to go through the legend of dragoon characters and then I’m considering chrono trigger vs. Final fantasy ix.
@@tantacles That all sounds splendid! Consider me a new sub in that case!
Just subbed. Forgot to while commenting. Love how this game release on PSN has brought the community back!

I get that a lot. Do you have any wine and can I have some
Meru, Haschel, and Dart all equipped
With +20 agility armaments and speed boost will allow you to run circles around your enemies. Very fun.
I just subscribed! And I think it would be a great series if you made videos for each of the characters comparing their stats to the rest.
Miles ahead of you. This is a 7 video series. 😀😀
Please do a whole series of these.
I’ll see you on Monday. 😉
Because Dart is good but not the best, and is also forced the whole game, I usually put him on tanking/defense duty. Because good defense in LoD turns out to be good enough all game.
By tank, I mean the guy I use the pandemonium item on every mob fight, so every enemy attacks him for three turns. He gets defense high as I can make it, HP boosters, and usually gets the therapy ring. His lower end speed is actually helpful here because pandemonium lasts longer on slower characters. Often times, I'll opt to just defend with Dart for even more damage mitigation/healing. His addition grinding doesn't suffer too much because he is forced every battle anyways. The best part, is that because Dart is pretty average no matter what you do (outside of soul eater) his damage output with a full tank setup is still.... averagely good.
I found your channel through LoD, and I love your analysis and perspective. I've been saying this is the rpg from my childhood that got away, it's just THAT good. However, I found my copy today while packing to move, and i cannot wait to dust off my ps2 when things settle down.
It's only $10 on the PS5 if you want to try the new(ish) version!
dude so broken he even has the "don't select" icon when you want to change parties.
Nice video. You know I have beaten the game 5 to 6 times but I have never gotten any of the last spells
I wouldn't call this release a remaster. It's basically a port using emulation software. I do like the trophy support though, even if it's the easiest platinum in JRPG history
Actually, the PS5 version prefers to be called Shirley so we’re both wrong
beaten the game a lot in the past, always swapping my party members around to test a different setup. i pretty much saw it as Dart, Haschel, and Meru as the balance characters, Shana/Miranda and Rose as the mages, and Lavitz/Albert and Kongol as the slow yet heavy hitters. Albert quickly became my favorite since his final addition is so fun to pull off, and Meru became my favorite healer since she could still do decent physical damage
The switch from Lavitz to Albert always messes me up, his additions have such a weird timing compared to soldier boy.
in the end game haschel with his final weapon and meru with an attack ring ends up being the hardest hitters so long as you keep haschel in red hp
Can you leave your on screen notes on a little longer? I had to rewind like 6 times each to try and catch what was on screen. Otherwise nice videos, thanks!
If you give Dart the Therapy Ring, he'll sustain no damage penalty with the Soul Eater. I've found that combo to be best with dealing with mobs and then switching to more tactical gear for bosses. I've also ran the table without changing that too.
I did that...
The boy just needs some therapy, then he'll be unstoppable.
@@horaciogonzalez4284 😂😂😂😂😂😂
But can you answer this for Dart's granddad, is it "furry of Styx", "flurry of Styx", or"ferry of Styx"?
Soul eater + therapy ring + dragon helm = op dart
I loved the analysis but a lot of this just sounds simplified as “Dart is generally balanced as the middle piece to the party in so that he doesn’t outshine anyone in a way that prevents them from being useful.”
Yeah you got it right but that sounds like a very short video where I don’t get to say a lot of bulls*** so I hate it
He said remastered lol. Re-release maybe with added feature.
Dart wearing the fire armor and gets hit by his father: my dad is so powerful.
Also day still staying same armor: gets zero damage.
But every fight Fost with a Kongol with heavy magic damage reduction items and two healers?
I love how Lavitz pic is just a green blob. Iykyk
This is my favorite game of all time, but it's not without it's flaws. One problem I have with the characters is that they're too equal; that's also a good thing, because you want every character to be viable, but you do want there to be a reason to use one character over another.
So what makes a character worth using? Is it higher attack? Higher magic? Higher defense? Stronger Dragoon magic? In LoD it happens to be speed. High speed characters are so broken that nothing else matters. The ideal party would be Shana/Meru/Haschel; getting 6-9 turns for every one of the enemy's lets you shut down virtually every boss before they can get three attacks in, but unfortunately Dart can't be removed in the official game.
Every character is usable from start to finish, and you're encouraged to swap them out frequently to catch up their levels and grind out additions because at some point you'll be forced to use every character (some solo), so it doesn't really matter who you use overall. But the most objectively OP stat in the game is undeniably speed, by a longshot.
You’re gonna love my other videos based on your opinions. Hope you watch the Lavitz one next… and then the new tier list that comes out tomorrow.
I love gramps
As far as I'm concerned, Dart is the absolute top of the Legend of Dragoon meta, being the best-in-slot choice for the mandatory Dart slot in any team line-up.
10/10 darts approve this message
Why has no one mentioned his divine dragoon form where the real power comes
Because the divine dragon spirit is given just before the final boss, literally used for one important battle
My playstyle _ Fairy sword, legend capsule, armor of legend and mage ring for unlimited magic
This game is older than most of the people watching this video no need to cover spoilers about lavitz

How about a video about Meru instead?
@@tantacles already watched it. It was my second video from you. Watched the Kongol video first.

Which is necessary because I like to hide the homophobic, transphobic, racist, etc comments as quickly as possible so this channel doesn’t turn into Trumpville.
@@tantacles good. I'm all for freedom of speech, except when you know it purposefully hurts people. So good on you for giving less presence to these hateful comments.
@ 2:52 you note to subtract 50% of meru's hp to account for physical ring. The actual value to subtract is 33% or 1/3 as physical ring is a 50% increase.
Recently got the remaster and plan to do therapy ring with soul eater for the damage output since I'll have lavbert in party whom I'd rather have the speed gear on.
I’m wrong about the ring… but watch out in this comment section. People crucify for saying the remaster word
try meru out with an attack ring when she unloads that final addition of hers with that attack ring @.@ the damage is crazy high
Dart was the MVP for me in beating Faust just recently
The dragon summon of Dart is basically final burst but for multiple enemies.
Use the legendary helm from Lohan he’s a tank. Learn Crush Dance and it’s all good.
Or equip the therapy ring to counteract the effects of the soul eater sword 🤷♂️
much like most jrpgs back in the day, dart is a tanky, "hero class" character, an individual who is very good in the early game, much like lavits, they are what the fire emblem fanbase would call a jagen, along with kongol later on,i never noticed him being weak to magic, that's new to me, however, this could in part be due to the fact that you don't face a lot of magic users early on in the over world save for some special enemies and bosses, then on top of that you have other characters like rose, shana, lavits etc to bounce off of any weaknesses dart might have, but i played this when it was relatively new and i was not nor have i ever been a stratigic gamer of any kind lol, good video though
You know you can cancel soul eater damage with therapy ring, right?
I remember experimenting with it when I saw the regenerative HP was equal to the damage given by the soul eater. Boy was I surprised when I realized it cancelled the damage.
Bluepoint Games Studio is apparently in the process of making a remake
WAT
@@tantacles It's more of a rumor but they did drop subtle hints. If we can start an internet campaign pushing for it I think they'll seriously make a remake
My all time favorite jrpg game ever made. It's a grind to level up but an amazing game. It's the first game to make me cry 😭. 😁
If you love crying at video games, I strongly suggest you play “brothers”
Divine dragon cannon whaaah!
He looks the coolest tho.... He's kinda like the Jacksonville jaguars
Tentacles what about different party setups beginner intermediate and best weapon combos for each character. We LOD fans need this.
Darts is always my best character because I constantly switch characters so Dart is always higher level than everyone else
There is a way around taking damage from Soul Eater Even though it will take away from his Access to Accessories the Therapy Ring is the Best Accessory to have on him if you're Planning to use the Soul Eater
Yes, and unfortunately, that means you have to sacrifice a bunch of speed. 😭
@@tantacles its not that important for him, he has an overall good speed. If you want to attack with your other Party Members who hasnt that much speed, just use defend and wait for the Characters turn, problem solved ^^
*Vaguely talking around spoilers*
I find it strange how you censor lavitz's replacement, but leave kongol listed as a party member considering his adversarial nature earlier in the game. I mean I get keeping spoilers out of a comparison like this, but just showing the replacement doesn't explain why he is replaced, which is the real spoiler. There are more than 1 reason for a character being replaced in this game, so showing a different character in place of Lavitz doesn't seem all that different from showing someone like kongol in my eyes. Just a thought, I'm not bothered either way. Thanks for the video :)
I mean . . . I'm going to make a video that's literally about Kongol's strength as a party member, so people will find out very quickly.
And there's the divine dragoon cannon
Oh god, my fighting game brain just automatically misread the video title as “A Competitive Analysis”. Hahaha. I was doing backflips in my head for like three full seconds, thinking like, “Yo whaaaat?! That game had MULTIPLAYER?!?”
I caught you. Because how GOOD was mewtwo ACTUALLY?
I play as Dart mainly because he can’t be switched out. I only have him and his team use their Dragoon powers for boss fights.
I love dart and the fact that he wasn't the strongest choice made me more excited to level and max out my other party members.
Yeah, that's usually the issue when you have MC's that can't be removed from the party. They usually give them middle of the road stats so they're just good enough to be helpful but rarely the best option in their own game.
Dart is mid level. Which is no way bad because it allows what kind of team you want to build. My low level quick run game I use him Meru and Albert. And my fave combo. Then you can build a tanking team and a strong hitting team. I really like how they made it.
Yup he basically can balance out every team
If you just give Dart the most recent shop weapons and gear, and level all his additions, then he's going to be slightly stronger than everyone except Kongol
Kongol 4 lyfe. it bums me out how hard he gets shit on in the hidden wingly fight and end game when people start slinging big boy magic. makes me not level him hard
Kongo sucks. Albert does everything Konhgol already does but better
@@TheZeroDestroyer hes my favorite due to character design and how he joins the party etc.
@@TheZeroDestroyer bruh, doubt.
Kongol is much better than Albert. Easier additions and much higher attack. Just equip him with a Legend Casque Bandit boots and a Bandit Ring. Boom, you have a 70 speed massive tank. I never use Albert, the Girls fill a much better role than Albert
I'm the lazy bum that put ultimate wargods on everyone to turn the addition system off. Shana got a phantom shield. However, I'm also the grindy bum that farmed 00 parts till he got 210000 gold so I could also buy 7 legend casque and 7 legendary armor. I have the legend casques and ultimate war gods and phantom shield on disc 1. Because legend casque is such a magic boost, I'm used to dragoon additions being kinda useless and I mostly use them for magic. Dart backed by a legend casque does this well.
Dart's average score on in-game stats:
HP: 3rd tallest in the team.
Atk: based on Strongest Weapon and Lv60.
+ Addition Damage ranked 5th in the team (Better than Kongol and Shana/Miranda).
+ Dragoon Damage (Red-eyed Dragoon) ranked 6th in the team (only better than Shana/Miranda)
+ Dragoon Damage (Divine Dragoon) ranks BEST in the team (Simply 2 times stronger than Red-eyed Dragoon, so it surpasses Kongol Golden Dragoon)
DEF: Ranked 3rd in the team at Lv60 (Equal to Haschel but because Dart HP is better, ranked 3)
Magic: Base stats are on par with Rosie and only lose to Shana/Miranda and Meru should rank 3.
+ Dragoon Magic (Red-eyed Dragoon) ranks 6th (Better than Kongol) in terms of damage done... But in terms of popularity and versatility, Final Burst ranks 3rd (only behind Shana/Miranda and Meru)
+ Dragoon Magic (Divine Dragoon) ranked 1st in TEAM. It's simply a Divine Cannon shot that's twice as powerful as Final Burst... So Meru and Miranda can't be compared to Dart right now.
M.Def: Base stats are on par with Rosie and only lose to Shana/Miranda and Meru should rank 3. Why is 3rd over Rosie because Rosie's HP is weaker than Dart's. 😂😂😂
Speed: Although ranked 5th (just above Lavitz/Albert and Kongol) but the difference compared to the other 2 is very large so Dart is still quite fast in every match without having to ask for the help of Bandit's Ring or Shoes.
I mean. soul eater + therapy ring + legendary Casque = doesn't matter he beats everything.
TBF, the LC alone basically beats the game in the second half.
Or forces dart to combine soul eater with therapy ring, completely negating the Bad effect of soul eater
Opportunity cost is high though. There are other options you could use for that slot
@@joshholmes1372 for example?
Speed ring.
@@adrianomilonia bandit's ring to increase agility which sures up one of his weaknesses or phantom shield to make him a tanky power house which would go a much longer way in keeping him alive. Especially when combined with legend casque.
@@tantacles yup bandit ring is a really good option for him but if you do that is usually because you are doing a speed team with Meru and either haschel or shana with dancers ring. And thus, due to how speed Works in this game, dart will still get normal turns. Only one character, the faster currently in the team, can take 2 or 3 turns. The other will take 1. And due to Meru being faster especially with dancers ring, She'll get the 2 turns. Apparently even if you have all 3 chars with super high speed, it seems that the game wont allow you something like 2 turn Meru 2 turn dart and 2 turn shana. Though i need to double check that.
Sure dart with high speed with 2 mid speed characters will make dart act like Meru for that specific team
Jack of all trades master of none. Good for the main character who can basically fill any gaps in the team if need be. Will also be the last one standing in most cases.
Here's my question- does Kongol truly suck?
I think you’ll have to wait for that video to come out. 😉😉
Hmmm…give Dart all the XP from the start of the game by keeping other party members at 1HP and see how weak he is. Give him Drake’s boots too for a 70 speed stat and there you go…Moonstriking enemies to death way before he’s suppose to get it lol.
Ok you know what, it's been a century, ps1 games not spoiler anymore not if its not considered a spoiler to say Aeris dies in FF7.... but THIS game i aint spoiling.... bruh it still sucks what happened.

@@thatoneguy2136 Well crap, I don't haver a PS5. Any idea if there will be a PC port? (i know wishfull thinking) I cannot really justify buying a PS5 for one game, even if it is Legend of Dragoon.
Therapy ring...
I really wish they remake this and make magic not as consumables lol and I really wish I can switch out Dart for Rose, because she's my waifu
Might be an unpopular opinion but I don't even use my dragoon forms until endgame because I'd rather grind additions
I love this opinion.
Final additions are worth it.
Honestly, unless you plan to speed run, dragoon forms get obsolete sooner than you might realize. Human additions can out-damage dragoon additions fairly consistently due to getting a bigger damage bonus, even with the "dragoon special" boost. Magic, while strong, can only be reliably used if you dedicate your limited inventory space to mp recovery or consumable spell items; a waste IMO. Only the defensive capabilities are better in dragoon form because the bonus scales off of the stat total and you're immune to all status effects other that instant death.
Besides, the human additions timing is more fun to perform, the combo string is amazing to watch, and nothing is more satisfying than hearing your character scream out the name of the completed attack: "BLAZING DYNAMO!"
So the good thing with Dart is he can be higher leveled than the rest
Me looking at my Party with Albert having a higher level than dart 👀 (I have to note that this was not made extra... I just had him always in my party cause he is fricking strong and I dont wanna drop him)
What makes this a remaster? How does it differ?
I don’t know but we can definitely get past this point for the sake of analyzing Dart’s middling potential. 😉😉😉
Soul eater with blazing dynamo makes him hit harder than Kongol with his best weapon and addition too. Just a matter of locking him with a therapy ring or not
Fortunately, Blazing Dynamo's rhythm is fairly easy to get a handle on, so you can plug the Therapy Ring on and not feel like Dart would benefit better from that Ultimate Wargod you saved up for instead.
@@SatoruMasamune never waste your gold on an Ultimate Wargod. always save it for the Legendary casque
Bandits ring is the best thing to use on him tho
@@rensro2138 Bandits ring is best for everyone, the problem though youre now taking more turns while losing 10% hp a turn. Unless you dont use the soul eater, which is gonna be less damage
@@rensro2138 yeah if you want soul eater to kill you quicker. Dart doesnt need more speed. he is a tank that hits hard.

@@tantacles Looking forward to it then! Can't wait haha
Anyone have tips for easy gold grinding or where to find those high XP birds I'm still in disk one I just got to lohan
My advice is save the 3 Satchets the game gives you for free and use them on the Rainbow Birds.
Rainbow birds give 3k xp and have a chance to drop a Rainbow Dress, (a very strong armor piece for the girls)
If you encounter a rainbow bird and it didn’t drop you the dress either reload a save or rewind and run away until you find a bird that drops you the dress. It’s around a 10% chance drop rate, shouldn’t be that hard getting them, with Satchets of course
What I got from this video is that hashel is best party member.
I think you’ll have to stay tuned to see the remaining six videos in the series. 😉😉
It would make for a great family bonding experience, if only they knew. But I wonder how Haschel would feel knowing that his grandson made friends with the person that killed his daughter all because she was looking for her ex lover that was his son in law? I know that is poorly explained. Even more confusing how this somehow forced Dart to grow up as an orphan.
Dart is a special kind of dense.
Haschel’s unique gear makes him very strong, altho I never use him in my playthrus even I know he’s a very good character to use
@@thatoneguy2136 haschel with final weapon bandits shoes and bandits ring in red hp ... nothing hits as hard as he does not even miranda with a psych bomb x in some cases his dmg is monstrous with that weapon
"he's good but he's not the best" wich point to the questiuon "who is the worst?"
Well… you might enjoy my video coming out a little later today. 😉😉
I am not hating on Dart, but for me, one of his biggest flaws is that he is not removable from the battle party. If they ever make a remake of this game, that is one of the two big things that I feel, they need to remedy.
Mate, the game is over 20 years old, Albert and Miranda should not be spoilers any more. Otherwise you should have cropped a certain green caped king out of the videos you used.
But if you think they are spoilers, than let me counter with 'Dude, what do you mean with the recurring boss becoming a party member?!'. 😉
😉😉 it’s comments like these that make me VOLCANO
Honestly a lot of what you said is true. I'd still probably use him even if given the chance not to though. He is decent. Especially if you give him the bandit shoes.
My usual team consists of Dart(obviously) Rose and Meru. Rose and Meru are for me one of the better combinations. Both have healing spells, both have good speed... well okay that is a lie. Rose has good speed. Meru is freaking busted if you give her the dancer shoes and dancer ring. She usually ends up getting three turns in the time it takes most enemies to get one. Though I sometimes replace the dancer ring for the HP raising accessory because she is a bit frail physically otherwise.
Now of Rose could get her strongest weapon any sooner she'd probably be the best character in the game as I unless I am mistaken her strongest weapon is THE strongest in the game.
rose gets the strongest weapon but she ain't the hardest hitting physically haschel with final weapon and red hp i've seen do over 6k dmg and on certain enemies he'd hit for 9999 meru with an attack ring was second hardest hitting then rose but all these came with the party at level 60 by that point dart was the weakest hitting party member on the team and i had him using souleater/therapy ring combo you really can make meru be successful with all sorts of stuff give her an attack ring or therapy ring or dancers ring and it's lights out
Equip soul Eater and there a Equip that heals every turn. Just can't remember it's name.
Therapy ring! 😀
@@tantacles that's it!
Make any Legend of dragoon content I will subscribe and watch
You’re gonna love Monday
You dont even need to grind dart, if you hit the additions regularly you can max them all by endgame. He is insanely strong without utilizing soul eater, i preferred the fairy blade for the 50% sp boost.
Spoiler alert.
Don't forget that Dart does get the Divine Dragon Dragoon Spirit which can absolutely destroy enemies.
For one boss battle and one boss battle only!
You’re wrong about kongol. Later in the game he gets obliterated by magic unless you do a lot of work to keep him alive. Really not worth the effort.
Depending on how you play, Shana/Miranda can be OP.
Not untrue, but would love to hear your thoughts on my new tier list coming out tomorrow and her analysis which will come out at some point
this. i ignored them back then, but decided to test them out when i played the game again a couple of years ago. literally boss killers especially with the right element.
Has anyone else besides me ever beaten this game using only the default additions >_>!
I thought about it but, "madness hero!"
@@OmniscientWarrior it’s such a fun Addition to use but it’s so bad damage wise haha, it helps you get dragoon levels fast tho!
The biggest problem with Dart is that because he's a mandatory party member, otherwise excellent characters who fill a similar function to him as a primary physical attacker like Haschel or Kongol often get sidelined for characters that bring more support or magic damage. I love those guys, but Dart has physical damage covered, so I'd much rather bring Lavitz or Rose for their strong utility or Meru or Shana for their magic damage.
I actually ran a party of dart kongol and herschel was pretty dope
@@barryward2128 Yeah, and you can absolutely do that! The trouble is, I think, that without being familiar with the game Dart can make those two seem redundant in a team, so most first time runs will sideline those characters in favor of characters with healing and powerful utility, since those are things Dart doesn't already bring to the table.
It's the hazard of having a fixed protagonist slot in a JRPG party, really, even if a character does the protagonist's job better than he does (Like Haschel, for example) the protag generally does their job well enough that doubling up leaves you lacking in other areas that other characters fill in.
Yeah see I relied on physical attacks and healing items by the end of the game you fight so many bosses that just install kill dragoon form theres almost no point to it by 3rd disc
@@barryward2128 Yeah. Admittedly I got around that by only ever transforming into a dragoon with one bar of meter, that way they do their attack/spell and then change back before the anti-dragon retaliation can get them.
@@kevingriffith6011 yeah I did too I had that prima strategy guide to help me out but I also found after a certain level master additions were doing way more damage than dragoon form did
Of course he's good, he's the main character
I plsy this game with weakest items until new additions are unblocked, just to grind to the final addition.
Darts Divine Dragon form beats everybody. No competition.
X 1 battle
@@tantacles True, but that one battle is roughly half the length of disc four.
