My whole neighborhood group of kids passed around a copy of DW1 and it was always fun to see who could get the furthest. Our greatest mystery was having our champin die to Greymon when he attacked outside of JiJis house and we got a Phoenixmon, it blew all our minds and we never could replicate. Cheat Code Central was useless there.
what the heck.. the exact same thing happened to me, my brother and my cousin. We were stuck inside Jijimon's house because of Greymon for a bit and our Kokatorimon suddenly became phoenixmon out of absolutely nowhere. Is there some secret programming around that event or something...? Edit: Oh, I searched it up. Losing a life as a Kokatorimon can indeed result in phoenixmon (10% chance). Still, it's nearly the same exact story, and it blew our child minds!
Also, regarding WGarurumon, you can actually get it through game codes, but the model is empty and you can only hear footsteps,no other interactions at all. And the reason for this is...its model was not implemented, instead its .mmd files is Hiro (The MC) model replicated,so the game doesn't want to load it. Also,WG has an ingame mini completed portraits (like the ones in the tournament). The are stored in .TIM files IIRC. The royal tournament is accessible via glitching the game (i don't remember exactly how, maybe glitching the curling game),but it gives only a piece of Meat, and ranks down your tamer level. Also, the hidden areas have been implemented in DMW modded games (Vice hack). Another interesting thing, there are earlier demos of DMW1,one being SLPM-80402 and it's a Comic Bom Bom disc, only released in Japan with a magazine iirc. It had Panjyamon in the screen title, and the game ends at Day 6. It also has a bonus:if you press certain buttons, you get the Noble Mane in the inventory. If you finish it before that day,the game freezes and doesn't trigger the ending. The second one,SLPM-80401 has the same features as the first one,but it lacks the Panjyamon in the title, and maybe the bonus button prompts too. Also,if you use WayBack Machine,on Bandai site there are several screenshots of early betas. It shows a different command battle menu, and Hiro was intended to have red hair, lacking its cap. There is surely something else i'm forgetting, but,if you wanna know something else, there is a whole Discord server related to the game debugging. Nice video tho! Keep it up,this game deserves more attention! :)
ALSO,forgot to mention. There is another hidden item, only obtainable with GS,called AS Decoder but was scrapped in the end. Doesn't do anything, probably early in the game should have been used to translate the Leomon Table, but was later scrapped. Neat! xD
It's crazy how stats are only count as one condition. Weight, victories, care mistakes and techniques count as one condition each. As a kid I only looked at stats and was always surprised that I never got the digimon I wanted.
I'd love to see some Digimon world 2003 content from you :D I loved that game a child and so far your videos on Digimon world games have brought back amazing memories and taught me things I never knew about these games! It also taught me how I accidentally did some of those things my friends would say never happened haha!
I just want to say how much I loved this video. Digimon World 1 is my favourite game. I had no idea about these hidden Digimon. Leomon is my favourite and I'd be so annoyed if I got Ice Leomon to then digivolved into Veggiemon! Keep up the great work!
@@ChaosUntold Thank you for your kind words, ChaosUntold! They are greatly appreciated! And yes, I agree that a form of Leomon digivolving into a Vegiemon is just wrong!
Digimon World is my favorite game of all time. It has a lot of issues but no game comes close to being this cozy and fun to replay here and there. It's a special place to go to and enhoy achieving something while also not fully understanding how it actually works because of how cryptic the game can be at times. Even nowadays with all the new resources. I like how seemingly random it can be.
I still love Digimon World 1 to this day and I can just sit down and play it any time, any day. Back in the day there were many rumors floating around about how you'd get some digimon, I especially remember a guy who held the secret as to how you could get a SkullGreymon and we'd hold tournaments where we brought our best digimon to see who was number one. Well over a decade after the fact I picked up the game again seriously and browsed through the internet to see all the specific details for all the different conditions for digivolutions and god damn, they just don't make games as they used to.
Absolutely loved this video! You organized the information very well and I learned a lot of new things. Digimon World 1 was my cannon event game growing up and nothing will ever beat the feeling of exploring that world with my digital monster and praying that he doesn’t turn into Numemon for the 8th time. Please make more Digimon World 1 content!
Thank you for your kind words, AmazingChest! I am glad you enjoyed the video! And yes, I do intend on making some more World 1 content (another new video went online today, in case you're interested ^_^).
Your videos made me replay digimon world 1 again, and for the first time in my life, I beat it. No guide got megadramon, then eventually went on to get MegaSeadramon to finish the game, with some embarrassment in between. Young me has found a little bit of peace! Thanks for the videos.
I already knew all of it, but it's always nice to hear about it again. Gigadramon is one of my fave variations so it's a shame it's not accessible, but megadramon is always nice to have.
After so many years learning about all this secret is amazing ! DW1 will always be a fond memory for me ( also because the stupid amount of hours i spent on it xD ) keep digging for more !
First off. Digimon World 1 was one of my favorite games growing up even though the PAL version was unable to finish duo the Ogre Fortress, so emulator later helps. I wish they would have released a remake or another version of the game, being so chill and comfortable with the music etc. The hidden monster really surprised me and that people actually found a way to get Hercules Kaputerimon is mindblown. Thanks for the throwback!
Actually it's the second, Digital Monster ver S Digimon Tamers for the Sega Saturn predates World 1, but Digimon World 1 actually released outside of Japan so people actually played it.
I don't know how, but I actually managed to avoid ever hearing about ANY of this, so everything in the video was news to me! This was very interesting to watch, I learned much more than I imagined I would. You've got to love games that were so obscure that key parts of the mechanics go unknown for years until some dedicated fans can finally nail them down.
Just subscribed after watching your secret digivolution video and this one, awesome content! Not much coverage of this series overall so I appreciate someone delving into childhood favorite games of mine!
The italian version of the game had a glitch that prevented you from ever getting into the ancient dino region. Every time you tried, Tyronnomon would just come out and fight you over and over again. You could still finish the game, since the area wasnt mandatory, but you missed out on all of the ogremon fortress and factorial town content. On the plus side you had infinite hp chips. I didnt didnt know about these hidden things and it's nice to know about it since it's one of my favorite games (i had to get an english copy years later to check out the things i missed cause of the mentioned glitch).
Ah yes, I am somewhat aware of the weird version differences of World 1 😅. I intend to cover that in a different video later on! Those infinite HP chips probably don't make up for that problem, though 🤧.
There was also the glitch in the French , every other one translated from it, that made it impossible to talk to the Agumon at the entrance to the Ogre Fortress. That basically cut the playable content in those versions in half!
The Japanese version of digimon world 1 have a technique you can use when you start a new game to access many evolution items which includes the evolution item for those 3 secret digimon.
Secret characters in case of Digimon games are more so based on the Digimon Vpets, which are a brother franchise to the Tamagotchi toys. There is a Tamagotchi character from a 1998 Tamagotchi x Mothra device that was only figured out how to raise in 2024. Digimon Vpets have weirdly arbitrary evolution lines too at times, considering the Digimon World games are based on them. I feel like a lot of people tend to forget the origin of Digimon franchise when talking about the games! Always remember, Digimon is a physical toy franchise first, and game franchise third next to anime, really.
My man delivers again! But holy crap Digimon World 1?! Never would I have imagined that this game would have so much cut content! But the Metal Etemon giveaway... God that's just sad... Wonder what the winners of them back then did with the memory cards? Hope they kept them at least! Playground rumors huh? We had one going around that Omegamon himself was in the game! But alas no dice... Got a MetalGreymon out of that rumor thou so yeah it's all good!
@@thesaltyweeb I am glad you enjoyed the video, Saltyweeb! :D I did look into the Omegamon rumours, but they had no basis whatsoever, really 😅. But hey, at least you got a metalgreymon! :D
I started watching your videos and it made me wanna play again. I was training a kabuterimon and it evolved to metaletemon. I'm using gameshark for max stats but I didn't use any Evo items. It's it's 13th day, it was 55g before evolving and it's got max stats and no trading mistakes.
Very interesting... I enjoyed hearing about the cut areas. It's like they really had a plan, but they had to pick and choose what to cut out due to time. 😭
Man this brings back some memories. I used to be a die hard pokemon kid, but this game almost converted me, and would gave succeeded. Had my mon not just died out of nowhere! Lol I was watching my brother play it, along with one of our friends, decided to give it a shot, eventually raised my mon into an Ogremon, and loved that guy! Still one of my favorites. But after he died, I was so heartbroken I didn't pick up a digimon game until cyber sleuth. Now I have an Ogremon I'll never lose 😉
Ah yes, losing Digimon can be a big annoyance 🤧. They did do away with that for World 2 and 3, as well (in case you ever wanna check them out). World 3 is pretty fun, too! :D
Loving the Digimon World 1&2 stuff around, those two are games that I love for playing for years without internet so I can experience the oddities including PAL glitches. The type of broken messy games that end up being charming
The H-Kabuterimon statement about his requirements were only discovered in 2011 throws me off. We knew how to get him and we got him pretty consistently if not happily - that is we were happy when we would get him and I'm certain it was many years earlier than 2011. And yea he was AWESOME. Him and Pheonixmon was just so much fun to have in the game.
The text about MetalEtemon in the Japanese guidebook mentioning his new techniques and whatnot is all in his lore, as is him being referred to as "King of Digimon". Etemon was always a very prideful and rather arrogant Digimon, especially in the original Digimon Adventure anime series, where he battled the Chosen Children (or Digidestined for those who prefer the English terminology) and was eventually defeated when Tai used his crest of courage to digivolve Greymon into MetalGreymon for the first time. After Etemon's defeat, he clung onto his hatred for them and vowed to get his revenge, ultimately culminating in him being reincarnated and digivolving into MetalEtemon in the process. After this, he returned to face the Chosen Children again while they were fighting the Dark Masters (specifically Puppetmon, who MetalEtemon briefly fought), only to be killed again after Zudomon damaged the armor on his chest with his hammer, allowing SaberLeomon to finish him off for good this time. I mention all this because in tge anime, Etemon boastfully called himself a king, believing himself to be superior because of his strength. On a side note, I have heard that it is possible to get WereGarurumon using the moon mirror, but from what I heard, it only seems to be usable on Garurumon (which is weird, because digivolution items normally work on any Digimon of the appropriate level), and even then, only at a specific hour at night -- I don't know what the exact details of how this works are, so if anyone has more information on this, feel free to fill in whatever I got wrong. What I DO know about WereGarurumon and his existence in this game, however, is that if you ARE able to successfully digivolve your Digimon into him, he only can use one technique (that being fire tower, yay), but otherwise he is invisible, cannot be interacted with, and he tends to crash your game if you do certain things with him. In my opinion, you really aren't missing out on much if you can't obtain him, and going through the effort to do so doesn't seem to be worth it
WereGarurumon is just impossible to get at all: - The Moon Mirror will not work on any digimon, WereGarurumon has a level of 0 and the evolution items only work if the digimon is one level behind, so the only way to make it work would be to have a digimon with the level -1 (which is impossible). To add to this, the levels are: 1 (baby), 2 (in-training), 3 (rookie), 4 (champion), 5 (ultimate). You can try this cheat code, which should change Weregarurumon level to the right one: 8012DB68 0502, but that would go then to the second part... - Even if the level was right, the game will try to load a model that does not exist, so it ends up crashing, the people that made the videos probably made the game skip the model loading part (which is why it does not have a model in those videos). - No model means no animations to play, so when the game has to wait for the digimon to play an animation... It will wait for something that never happens...
There's one thing you missed about WereGarurumon. Not only was the Moon Mirror in the game, there was also a 16x16 sprite that was in the game's code for WereGarurumon. It does not use the sprite from the Pendulum, but a slightly modified Leomon sprite.
Hey Digimonprofessor! Like I mentioned in the video, I want to dig a little deeper with the Missing Digimon stuff, so I figured I'd cover it in a different video. But yes, you are right. There are some remnants of weregarurumon data in there, for sure!
When I first saw world 1 i fell in love, i watched my brother struggle with it. I tried to play it a few years later and struggled. Went back in my teens and finally managed to get my first Ultimate and also beat the story with it. Oddly it was a HKabuterimon 😂 Ive always wished to find more about cut content or the development, western or otherwise but sadly the only preRelease version I have come across was a preview beta disc that seems to be more or less NTSCU final. The disc is a prize possession with my physical Digimon World 1 original Soundtrack.
Great research man. Here's a fun one, in the UK/EU versions of the game, the main story can't progress past the Ogremon fight in his fortress. The game is unbeatable!
I remember that the strategy guide for Dimon World didn't even cover Factory Town, the beetle area, and only hinted to skullgreymon in the manor. I only found out that you could recruit kabuterimon and kuwagumon less than a year ago. I should try playing again now that I know some of this stuff now.
Mine once turned into Kuwagamon, and I trained him to brink death it turns into H. Kabuterimon. That golden bastard dominated all my friends digimons lol.
Aside from the tree, there is also a locked ice door in Freezeland! Except it has no dialogue, and you cant interact with it, it even has a lamp post outside of sorts!
I had an unofficial guide that claimed the following: The Metal Banana is available as a rare drop from PlatinumSukamon. By giving the Mega Hand to a Digimon that could evolve into Megadramon anyway, it evolves into Gigadramon instead. Using the Beetlepearl is the only way to get HerculesKabuterimon. Panjyamon wasn't mentioned in it.
Panjyamon was made accessible through a special CD available in a park. I've found it for sale on a Japanese website. I didn't buy it, but it's super rare. This was at the beginning of this whole Retro Gaming collecting craze.
There was also the Bon Bon premium disc, a demo disc that came with the Bon Bon magazine. It's crazy that Japan got like 3 different version of the game: a demo, the first release and the last release fixing some bugs. (there is another demo disc but I think it's pretty much the same as the first release)
this game gave me unexplainable excitement everytime that digivolution gif popping out. there was a rumor that you can get to digivolve to cherrymon too.
Using an item you had to get mailed to you, and then your digimon turns into an egg and the item is gone forever, sounds like the worst prize imo. Unless the memory card was custom
Not sure if this has been found out by people but my brother actually got a Machinedramon digivolution item somewhere in freezeland , we were freaked out that time because it seems like no one on the internet was talking about that before!
I had one of those cheat discs that would come packaged with old game magazines back in the day, and it gave 99 Metalbananas to your DW save file. Makes me wonder if the same publication added the other items in later discs.
@@CrystalPapa Yes. This one in particular was a publication for English PAL regions. I'm struggling to remember the name of the publication, but I still have the mag and disc in boxes somewhere. I recall This particular issue's disc had cheats for Final Fantasy IX (giving Zidane max stats) too.
I love seeing a recent video and all of us DW1 fans coming out of the woodwork lol. I swear I have no idea how this game became my favorite of all time. I guess I finally understand what a “cult classic” really is. Hard to explain why I love it
Have you tried Next order? That's almost a modern version of this game, kind of 😅. I didn't like it all that much myself. Felt like it lacked the charm and soul of World 1.
I remember hearing sometime ago about how you can get the MetalBanana without cheating by buying something like 50 Golden Bananas, which would require an absurd amount of bits, and then etemon will just give you one for free. It sounds absurd but my inner child wants to humor the idea and use the infinite chainsaw glitch, but I don't know if it would be worth the trouble for something that is likely just a playground rumor
I love old video game rumors cause of how wild some of the stuff they ask you to do but older games especially RPGs they might be believable cause of some of the stuff you would have to do in game to get cool or secret items.
I remember my friend mentioning about their DW1 let's play on Something Awful and how it was through that LP that encouraged some adventurous souls to dig into the game code to find out the exact requirements for all the digivolutions that hadn't been confirmed. Wild how some things come to be.
BTW that Kaminarimon that you look with disdain is actually a reference to one of the famous temple in Asakusa,Tokyo. One of the entrance called the lightning(kaminari-雷 )GATE(mon-門). Since Digimon is normally written in katakana, the joke is lost in translation but very obvious to Japanese
You had me at unused content and glitches The whole MetalEtemon affair though is a reminder that games back then locked you out of content, out of reach aside from limited time events that only a select few would ever attend. The only real way to get them was to buy a cheat device to obtain them
that unused 'mt.spore' area you mentioned looks like its either using an incorrect palette or, more likely going by the appearance, using junk or other non-palette data as a palette
There's a modder who fixed the palette for the unused mt.spore area. The patches associated with it are called Digimon Vice, and the modder, Vice, did some random QOL bug fixes, adjustments, and re adding of cut content. It's pretty nice. The fix to the mt.spore cut map reveals a spot that looks a lot like the other spore areas.
From what i heard Weregaruru was planned to debut in this game, but was cut so it can debut in Adventure anime The King of Digimon bit in Metalete likely refers to Ete. So its like Metal Ete is the evo of the king(Ete) kind of thing. I believe Ete claimed to be King of Digimon in one digimon media. Might be adventure anime since it doesnt seem unfamiliar to me
Perishable giveaway prize. No wonder none of the 50 kids talk about metal etemon until now. I bet they lost the access to metal etemon anymore when it ages out and totally forgot about its existence. LOL
that Metal MOnkey hearing that was a VERY limited Give away really Blows as who knows if anyone in Japan of those 50 winners still has it let alone never deleted there Save Files.
One thing I noticed you missed was the secret fight with Myotismon post-game when Machinedramon is repeatable, there’s a secret area in the first room of Mt. Infinity that leads to those unused areas you showed at the end of the video, and they lead to a Gigadramon fight, defeat him, then the next portal takes you to Mt. Panorama for some reason, where Myotismon is laying on the floor again saying he can’t fight the takeover or something. There’s also a lot of Golden Apricorns around the area for some reason in this one zone
Um, that exists only in the Vice Patch version of DMW. Vice, a modder, used cut content (in this case, an unused mt.spore area) and the actual Digimon to be encountered depends on which Back Dimension is open. If Grey Lord's Mansion is subsumed by Back Dimension, then you can fight a confused Myotismon, but if a different Back Dimension is open, the boss battled is different. Also, this is modded content only, it does NOT appear in normal versions of the game.
I remember the Rumor with the Tree House that you can get a Wargreymon Digivolution Item inside, to get in you had to require some condition and knock 100 times. Didnt work of course xD

There's a server for debugging the game? Could you post an invite here?
@@Eckserah @mick.c drops something cool and leaves us hanging
@@heart3460 hold on,lemme find the link 😆😆
ALSO,forgot to mention. There is another hidden item, only obtainable with GS,called AS Decoder but was scrapped in the end. Doesn't do anything, probably early in the game should have been used to translate the Leomon Table, but was later scrapped. Neat! xD
@@mick.cBrooooooo I never knew about the demo nugget you dropped. You learn something new about this game every day.
It's only mow I understand why Etemon, the King of Digimon, was an Elvis impersonator in the dub.
World 3/2003 is definitely coming after I am done with World 1 content! 😇
Me and a friend once said that the main concept of Digimon World 1 was that the Digimon only wants to eat, sleep and shit.
The old era of games really were kinda special! 😇
6:00 Panjyamon digivolve to Gamecrashmon

This is the beauty of old games full of secrets and mysteries 👍👍 i was obsessed with this game when i was a kid
I like your Digimon World 1 and 2 content. It's so awesome to gain this knowledge after those years!
@@Mateusz_Kuchnecki I am glad you're enjoying the videos, Mateusz! :D
My favourite part was learning more about the secrets of this game in general, great video (which killed another radio star).
This was really cool, thank you for shedding light on some cool hidden aspects of Digimon's oldest video game
I am glad you enjoyed the video, Heart! :D
I love that you figured out the secret of the ultimate metal digimon! Man I just don’t know how they could’ve excluded Weregarurumon!
I wonder if there's more to the Weregarurumon thing...
Those infinite HP chips probably don't make up for that problem, though 🤧.
wouldn't that prevent you from recruiting tyranomon?
@@manluck It did, you couldnt recruit Tyrannomon and get to the Ancient Dino Region
There was also the glitch in the French , every other one translated from it, that made it impossible to talk to the Agumon at the entrance to the Ogre Fortress. That basically cut the playable content in those versions in half!
The hero we needed, just found y'all like yesterday, peak comfy UA-cam. 🤙🤙
thanks for the video, it feels like resolving some issue long while in my mind since childhood :D
I am glad I could help! :D
"...Numeemon"
"oh god are they gonna pronounce it MetalEteemon too"
...well, it got me commenting for engagement
The Japanese version of digimon world 1 have a technique you can use when you start a new game to access many evolution items which includes the evolution item for those 3 secret digimon.
Crazy to still see Digimon World 1 Content!
Even crazier is, at least for me, new content!
Hope there will be more xd
I did look into the Omegamon rumours, but they had no basis whatsoever, really 😅.
But hey, at least you got a metalgreymon! :D
This game was my childhood, lol crazy that this video popped up as recommended now.
Loved this.
Thank you for sharing!
I misread this so bad
Loving the Digimon World 1&2 stuff around, those two are games that I love for playing for years without internet so I can experience the oddities including PAL glitches. The type of broken messy games that end up being charming
i really enjoy walking around the world, especially mt panorama. wish it could be vaster. and gear savanna night is the best ost in the game
In my opinion, you really aren't missing out on much if you can't obtain him, and going through the effort to do so doesn't seem to be worth it
WereGarurumon is just impossible to get at all:
- The Moon Mirror will not work on any digimon, WereGarurumon has a level of 0 and the evolution items only work if the digimon is one level behind, so the only way to make it work would be to have a digimon with the level -1 (which is impossible).
Truth be told I completely forgot that Etemon digivolved into MetalEtemon in the anime.
Thank you very much for making this video. I love this game and it is always fun to revisit it. Have an amazing day.
Thank you for your kind words, friend! I hope you have a great day, too! :D
Not to mention the Digimon Digital Card Battle share the same DMW1 models. So,MAYBE,the WGarurumon model in there could have been the same as DMW1.
Never played digimon world 1 but this video is a lot interesting, congrats 😊
When I first saw world 1 i fell in love, i watched my brother struggle with it. I tried to play it a few years later and struggled. Went back in my teens and finally managed to get my first Ultimate and also beat the story with it. Oddly it was a HKabuterimon 😂
Ive always wished to find more about cut content or the development, western or otherwise but sadly the only preRelease version I have come across was a preview beta disc that seems to be more or less NTSCU final. The disc is a prize possession with my physical Digimon World 1 original Soundtrack.
I always enjoy watching your content!
0:41 That Courage the Cowardly Dog reference in a Digimon World video just got you a subscriber sir.
That show is definitely one of the GOATs! Always nice to find another Courage fan in the wild! ^_^
Great research man. Here's a fun one, in the UK/EU versions of the game, the main story can't progress past the Ogremon fight in his fortress. The game is unbeatable!
That's insane! Crazy that there were events for PS1 too
I remember that the strategy guide for Dimon World didn't even cover Factory Town, the beetle area, and only hinted to skullgreymon in the manor. I only found out that you could recruit kabuterimon and kuwagumon less than a year ago. I should try playing again now that I know some of this stuff now.
6:00 If I saw that as a kid, I would 100% think without a doubt that I was about to be sucked into my game and transported to the Digital World.

I had an unofficial guide that claimed the following:
The Metal Banana is available as a rare drop from PlatinumSukamon.
By giving the Mega Hand to a Digimon that could evolve into Megadramon anyway, it evolves into Gigadramon instead.
Using the Beetlepearl is the only way to get HerculesKabuterimon.

I think an alpha version (the one on the Bandai WBMachine site) must phisically exist, but i'm only theorizing about it

this game gave me unexplainable excitement everytime that digivolution gif popping out. there was a rumor that you can get to digivolve to cherrymon too.
Using an item you had to get mailed to you, and then your digimon turns into an egg and the item is gone forever, sounds like the worst prize imo. Unless the memory card was custom
I haven't been able to find any info about particulars regarding those memory cards yet, but I doubt it was much different from a regular card.
Thank you for digi-content
You're most welcome! 😄
Oh I don't think I've seen those particular discs myself. Did they come with a magazine or something?
@@CrystalPapa Yes. This one in particular was a publication for English PAL regions. I'm struggling to remember the name of the publication, but I still have the mag and disc in boxes somewhere. I recall This particular issue's disc had cheats for Final Fantasy IX (giving Zidane max stats) too.

Even to this day I'm still learning things about this game. Still holding out for a remake...
Have you tried Next order? That's almost a modern version of this game, kind of 😅.
I didn't like it all that much myself. Felt like it lacked the charm and soul of World 1.
You make GREAT content!
Than you for your kind words, Zerozeru! I am glad you're enjoying the content! :D
Ah yes, I remember that "secret method" myself 🤣.
I love old video game rumors cause of how wild some of the stuff they ask you to do but older games especially RPGs they might be believable cause of some of the stuff you would have to do in game to get cool or secret items.
the metaletemon thing was actually pretty cool to learn about.
It kinda blew my mind when I first looked into it, too!
You had me at unused content and glitches
The whole MetalEtemon affair though is a reminder that games back then locked you out of content, out of reach aside from limited time events that only a select few would ever attend. The only real way to get them was to buy a cheat device to obtain them
I kinda enjoy digging into old games and seeing what the Devs chose to leave out of reach.
This stuff is so fascinating at times! ^_^
Really cool video, surprised you didn't mention saberleomon tho lol his item and digimon model are in the game
Neither is true.
@@glockpackinmofo9231 I don't think Saberleomon is in the game 😅.
Damn, knew everything here by scouring the TCRF page a while back haha. Didnt mention the debug rooms? Those are pretty neato to always showcase!
that unused 'mt.spore' area you mentioned looks like its either using an incorrect palette or, more likely going by the appearance, using junk or other non-palette data as a palette
From what i heard Weregaruru was planned to debut in this game, but was cut so it can debut in Adventure anime
The King of Digimon bit in Metalete likely refers to Ete.
LOL
Panjyamon was distributed in the Digimon World Premium Disc, a game demo given by the Comic Bonbon magazine.
I grew up in the countryside in a primary school were there was 7 people in my year and even we talked about Mew under the truck.
that Metal MOnkey hearing that was a VERY limited Give away really Blows as who knows if anyone in Japan of those 50 winners still has it let alone never deleted there Save Files.
I remember experiencing so much difficulty to gain HerculesKabuterimon just to participate in the Beetle Land Tournament.
I remember the Rumor with the Tree House that you can get a Wargreymon Digivolution Item inside, to get in you had to require some condition and knock 100 times.
Didnt work of course xD
