Hi, I firstly just want to say thank you, your resources are incredible, I am making a game for my UG dissertation with no game dev experience and your resources are helping. I was wondering if you could do some videos on how to create puzzles in godot and also how to add signs that a player can click on to open them up to read. Cheers!
Honestly im just getting into game development right now and this is already my favourite series on godot, keep going its really fun😊
so happy to hear!! next tutorial in a couple hours from now!! Goodluck with the rest of the series!! If you ever need anything let me know so I can help!!
Nice!! You are a legend :))
thanks!! it means the world!
peak tutorial again. keep up the good work.
thank you so much!!!
nice keep going !!!
thank you so much!!
Hey Devworm, I don't remember seeing one in your videos but do you have one covering controller support out of curiosity? Keep up the good work buddy!
no you are correct! I haven't covered that! maybe in the future.. the near future Ill make a complete tutorial on controller support!
sigma tutorial 😎
Are you going to cover attack animations in the next video? That part is a bit more confusing because you need to put some cool down typically and also maybe keep running the animation even if you decide to jump for example
next video will be tomorrow and it will be covering "enemy movement" which will include - random free roam movement as well as chasing the player movment.. with all the animations.. then in the following episode I will cover combat which is where we will go over attack animations and hitboxs and things of that matter!!
@@dev-worm looking forward to it!

👍
hey bro, could u do som grid build tutorial? like the necesse game, plz
looking into a grid building system now!
Hey DevWorm, love your content but I do have a question! I noticed that you use if statements after another rather than use elif, why is that?
This is a good point, although the end result shouldn't be changed, elif stops evaluations if the first condition is met and so is slightly more performant.
your right.. that is a pretty bad practice.. i guess it looks better to my eyes lol.. but I know I should be using the elif.. thanks for pointing that out!! Ill stop doing that in the future episodes!!
You should add to the title that this is a 2d tutorial
Bro is carrying the whole godot community
haha I dont know about all that now!!! but thanks! It means the world!!
Scale your editor more ❤❤
ah sorry!!! thanks for reminding me!
