      How about the Xbox: 69? It'll be a nice reminder that, although you may not enjoy the touch of the gender or your choice, you will ALWAYS, always always be the favorite thing t fu&k of Microsoft.

      For real I cannot stand how they've named anything after the Xbox 360. Also the way they made the series S and the series X is also awful. It basically makes it so everything is stunted by the series S. Fully holding them back and making a development headache for all developers (which is not what they should be aiming at lol)

    I remember Xbox credit before it became dollars. It was designed so that you could buy something and have a little left over that wouldnt be enough to buy anything so you had to buy more to buy something otherwise it went to waste.

      There's actually another reason for that, it was psychological manipulation, when you see 800 MS Points game, many people will translate that into $8 USD, which makes sense, but of course the game was really $10 USD.
      But what they're hoping will happen is that once you've made up your mind to buy the game, after finding out that it costs "just $2 more" that you'll go through with the purchase anyway. Whereas some people may not have decided to buy it at $10, but were willing to do so at $8. Its a very obvious form of manipulation to make games appear cheaper than they actually are.

    Why is it that the cover art for Galleon is one of the only XBox artworks I can remember? It’s basically that and the Halos.

    You know it's crazy that Nintendo has a reputation for being anti-consumer yet Sony and Microsoft often find ways to trump them at every turn

    • @Beyllion

      nintendo IS more anticonsumer. That's a fact.

    • @Chocoburger
      @Chocoburger 3 місяці тому

      Nintendo doesn't let you back up your save files without paying for a subscription, and even then it doesn't work for all games.
      That is the very definition of anti-consumer and is what pushed me over the edge towards Switch piracy.
      Nintendo is willing to screw over legitimate buyers in order to stop piracy, well they can kindly go screw themselves then!
      For reference Sony took this out of the PS5 firmware, unless if you perform a full drive back up, which of course is again bullshit, but at least there's a way, even though it sucks.
      MS took it out with Xbox One, but at least offered free cloud back ups, though I prefer my own local back ups.
      Truth is that every company is trying to see how far they can push anti-consumer tactics, and how far their stupid fan bases are willing to bend over for them.

    I'm someone that wants to see gaming succeed on all platforms. I'm so confused why Xbox has committed to Gamepass how they have? They have basically thrown away all game sales just for the sake of putting games day one on Gamepass? Why? That seems like the most destructive strategy especially if Xbox is constantly complaining about sales, profits and saying they are not able to afford to support game studios. Xbox should not release new games day one on Gamepass. Xbox will never get the money they hope from going this Gamepass direction. (They should only put newer games on there only after a certain amount of time) It seems SO Stupid that Xbox would THROW AWAY all Call of Duty game sales. Just so they can put call of duty day one on Gamepass? You actually have to have brain damage in order to think that would be a good idea? The structure of making a game, then selling that game has been so successful. That is exactly what has gotten them to the point where they are now.. Yet apparently Xbox wants to throw that all away... But Who cares about making a bunch of games? Like who would buy all these game studios and IP's? It wouldn't be to actually make games with all of that?? What do people think Xbox is, a game charity? Funny

    At this point, it's probably in the best interest for xbox to go the way of sega. Their consoles have never once made a profit and being in third place every single generation is really not working. Chucking money at everything does not work for them. You cannot buy success

    • @Chocoburger
      @Chocoburger 3 місяці тому +1

      Virtual Boy
      Wii U
      Wii not having HDMI when many modern TVs only feature HDMI, making the console feel as archaic as systems older than it.
      Betraying Sony
      Partnering with Phillips
      E-reader?
      Shutting down digital stores
      JoyCon drift
      N64 using cartridges to prevent piracy, but piracy happened immediately anyway
      N64 DD being a pointless flop and the games should have just released on normal carts

    • @jayclarke777

      @@ChocoburgerSony tried to get 100% of the profits on Nintendo's IP.
      That's the reason why Nintendo "betrayed" Sony.
      Everything else on that list, I agree with though.

    • @Chocoburger
      @Chocoburger 3 місяці тому

      @@jayclarke777 I've seen that claimed before, maybe its true, but there are better ways of handling that situation. Nintendo flat out embarrassed Sony publicly which then created their own biggest competition. They didn't need to do it that way.
      The my question is that always remains unanswered, why did Nintendo agree to those terms in the first place? They have lawyers, they're not stupid, why were contracts signed giving Sony all that power or money?
      It seems illogical to sign a contract, then get angry about it, then publicly betray the company you signed the agreement with. Things could have played out differently, but because of Yamauchi's red hot temper, he created a rival that destroyed their profits two generations in a row.
