Hello all! First, RIP to Freddie Mercury and much respect to Queen for writing this epic song. Have you ever heard Marc Martel before? Wow, BIG round of applause for this performance! Send your comments and suggestions down below... thanks & much love to everyone!!!
Amazing reaction! You are a great reactor, that really takes time to look at what you are reacting to. I would love to see your insight on some of Queen's early music. As a metalhead you should really check out some of Queen's early music, and their later music. There are so many great Queen live performances to enjoy, they were voted as the best live band in the 70's and 80's. Most people only know their hits which is something that happens with any big band, very few people realize they were a progressive/ metal band at the start of their career that later ventured into many different genres, for their last albums they returned to their more earlier roots. From Queen's first album I would suggest Son & Daughter with Modern Times Rock 'n Roll the two song are mashed together on this live version live at The Rainbow 1974 ua-cam.com/video/6feQipHx3Xg/v-deo.html. Or The Great King Rat live at the Rainbow 1974 ua-cam.com/video/nNDOazfRg08/v-deo.html. Or Queen's very first single Keep Yourself Alive live in Houston 1977 ua-cam.com/video/SFeiCElLzY8/v-deo.html. These are great songs and great performances which might surprise you, they are all from Queen's debut album Queen I from 1973.

I've been a fan of Marc Martel since I first heard him sing his song called How Many Kings, with his christian band called, downhere, about 13 years ago. From the first time I heard that song on the radio, I thought, "WOW", he sounds just like Freddie Mercury. It was incredible. Then years later Marc posted his audition video here on youtube, for the new Queen band, singing Somebody To Love. It again was amazing. I highly suggest you check both of these songs out with Marc Martel. How many Kings - downhere Somebody to Love - Marc Martel audition video.

Just heard about this man as well and saw this performance and mannnnnn it's uncanny how much he sounds like Freddie Mercury!! Thanks for including the lyrics of the song to follow along (haha we know all the lyrics but the bridge part I still mess up on) and yeah what a brilliant performance!
Many people cover this song but Marc hit Freddie's style on a variety of accounts. I now see that people are discovering him and that's a very good thing... he deserves the credit. Thank you for your interest!!
As a band, Queen Extravaganza (with Martel) said their favourite song to perform as a group, was The Show Must Go On because of the story behind it. You can see the emotion in this performance. ua-cam.com/video/uo6N01-3wYM/v-deo.html
Also check out Prophet's Song to see a very difficult song to sing. Queen rarely did it live but Martel nails it. ua-cam.com/video/5qGG0cMMiEM/v-deo.html
I usually don't like covers (where they attempt to sound like the original artist) but this was great, even you were clearly impressed! But maybe that's a testament to the song tbh

Yeah dude, that man is pure fire! He made the executive of queen cry when he sang live for him for the first time. No wonder why Marc matel is cover voice singer for the bohemian rhapsody. everyone doesnt know that, but think it is freddie, nope almost everything is sang by Marc.
Welcome to the World of the reincarnet voice of Freddie . Marc Martel was the voice of the movie Bohemian Rapsody . Saw him live in cologne! Look at his channel:)
@@DannymikReacts Used to be with Roger's Queen Extravaganza. That band is now led by Alirio Netto, though that's rarely advertised. Marc's own world touring band is called One Vision of Queen these days.
Welcome to the world of Marc Martel. What u just watched is a unicorn. Queen/Freddie never performed the whole song live. The opera section was taped (they left the stage). There is NO recording of Freddie singing/playing the piano of the entire song as a solo piece. Dig deeper into Marc and you will not be disappointed.
When this was recorded, Freddie did all of the voice parts in the operatic section...middle of the song. That's why queen couldn't perform it live. Freddie couldn't do all the parts at the same time, live. He recorded the parts over each other.
@@kellycrook543 Actually, Brian and Roger did some of the harmonies. In fact it is Roger who hits the high note at the end of the operatic segment. That is why Marc chooses to sing in the range that Freddie chose for that moment. Having seen them on the Day At The Races tour I can tell you that that section was not possible technically to do live...that is why they left the stage. Today they would track it and everyone would sing along.
You got that right. And it looks like Marc has studies Freddie with his expressions. It's obvious that I'm a fan... thank you for your time and happy holidays :)
@@DannymikReacts All physical resemblance between Marc and Freddie is purely serendipitous. Marc always performs as Marc and doesn’t try to look like or act like Freddie. Brian May himself has stated that Marc naturally has similar voice and similar presence to Freddie.

Marc Martel is beaming with talent and I shall do another one of his covers. He also has a very passionate fanbase and they've supported this video as well as his channel nicely. I'm glad you appreciated his work here and enjoyed my reaction. Thanks and I hope you had a great Thanksgiving 👏✌💪👊
Marc Is a Canadian singer/songwriter from Montreal, Quebec
He is THE best, next to Freddie himself. We've seen him in concert, and he is just as incredible. Roger Taylor discovered him to keep their original sound alive when he held a massive competition in 2011. Brilliant, lucky us!
In 2011.
@@papabearM3 Thank you! Corrected above. 😊

Marc sounds like Freddie on the record. Superb! Check out Marc's old band called Downhere.
He's definitely impressive... reminds me to get back to him and roll out another Marc Martel reaction. Thanks for your time ✌👏
Perfect
Thank you for the view and comment 👏✌
Amazing reaction!!! Now you really have to watch many videos of him..brcause it's mind-blowing!! He did Love of my Life, Who wants to live forever, I want to break free recently, Don't stop me now.. And he did some other cover like Hallejuah in the style of Jeff Buckley, he did Unchained Melody by Righteous Brothers who's mind blowing too.. You really have to check this amazing guy named Marc Martel because he is underrated!!
He did freddie's voice in some parts of the bohemian rhapsody movie
All bro, not some part
@@queenjabar4383 I think it's a mix of him, and Freddie's I guess.
@@queenjabar4383 Marc only sang the parts where there was no official, or otherwise, recordings of Freddie.
wow, wow, wow...

I love how you look so happy listening to Marc.
Oh, and you haven't heard his cover of Love of My Life. 😂😂😂
I haven't heard that cover... is it a funny side of him on display?? Thank you 👏✌
@@DannymikReacts ua-cam.com/video/VcPQXyBUJW4/v-deo.html and we'll all be waiting for your next reaction video.. 😁✌️
He travels worldwide in a Queen cover band. He also sang in the Bo Rhap movie.
Where have you been....lol jk better late than never and welcome to the club. Another one very worth checking out is Marc’s cover of Seal’s “kiss from a rose”
Oh Yes Marc Martel is really good you definitely check some of his other videos
He needs so much more credit than what he gets
His tones and timbre 100% Freddy Mercury!

What's goin on bro!?! Awesome to see you're finally hearing Marc Martel! his resemblance to Freddie is remarkable!! Looks and Voice! Makes me wonder if he is a reincarnation of Freddie...cuz honestly...if you threw a mustache on Marc, i dont think anyone could tell the difference!! lmfao!
@Jeff Buckley, sorry but Marc was born while Freddie was still alive, so no reincarnation. :)
Jeff, Marc has grown a mustache before there's a few videos of it online if you wanna see that, he does look even more like Freddie with it.
Marc Martel’s voice talent is heard throughout the movie Bohemian Rhapsody
Just heard about this man as well and saw this performance and mannnnnn it's uncanny how much he sounds like Freddie Mercury!! Thanks for including the lyrics of the song to follow along (haha we know all the lyrics but the bridge part I still mess up on) and yeah what a brilliant performance!
Do I think it was a pretty good performance, dude, it is the best cover of anything on this planet ! ! !
Many people cover this song but Marc hit Freddie's style on a variety of accounts. I now see that people are discovering him and that's a very good thing... he deserves the credit. Thank you for your interest!!
You need to check out his cover of I Will Always Love You. It is insane.
He did it live and I was floored.

Queen rarely did it live but Martel nails it. ua-cam.com/video/5qGG0cMMiEM/v-deo.html
he make Céline Dion cry ..while singning one queen's song...
I usually don't like covers (where they attempt to sound like the original artist) but this was great, even you were clearly impressed! But maybe that's a testament to the song tbh
Marc id not trying to sound like Freddie, he just does. They are sound-a-likes.
try to watch and listen to REO BROTHERS. This i recommend.
Ah you stuck gold lol if you love Queen/Freddie Marc is the man he is a gift from Freddie The Show Must Go On
Man, this was an awesome reaction. Thank you. Btw, you favor you looks with this famous actor I just love. I can't think of good name right now tho. Okay, peace
Thank you so much... Marc killed it in this song! I had no idea who he was but I sure do now. What actor were you thinking of?
Mark Raffelo excuse my spelling. ☺️
Marc has his own band called Queen extravaganza he made Celine Dion cry you just need to look it up on u tube once again love from Canada
No Marc is not in Extravaganza anymore. His band is Ultimate Queen Celebration.
Marc this video never gets old we love that you have returned Freddie's beautiful voice to us. 😘
Marc is absolutely amazing! I get chills he sounds like Freddie!
He has so much talent, tons of potential, and I'm hearing that he's a very humble human being... that's impressive stuff! Thank you for your time 👏✌
Marc Martel is phenomenal!!❤❤🥰🥰🥰❤❤
Yeah dude, that man is pure fire! He made the executive of queen cry when he sang live for him for the first time. No wonder why Marc matel is cover voice singer for the bohemian rhapsody. everyone doesnt know that, but think it is freddie, nope almost everything is sang by Marc.
Ok then smart ass
Class....Dissmissed. shall I pick the mic up now mr. Martel?
MarcMartel queewn's audition...>> ... Roger Taylor's eaction was epic
Freddie Marc-ury
Hahahaha this is great! Thank you for your time ✌👏
Don't know about the shirt but Marc was born in Montreal and currently lives in Nashville.
Dear sir Marc's vocals were used in the BoRhap movie where they didn't have Freddie's....and no f ing up!! Ever! Check out his channel!!💜
Welcome to the World of the reincarnet voice of Freddie .
Marc Martel was the voice of the movie Bohemian Rapsody .
Saw him live in cologne!
Look at his channel:)
Wow.
Wow, wow, wow, wow!!! Thank you for the WOW!!
Simplemente GRANDIOSO !
Now we need someone who sing like like him , wuuuuauuuu
Ohhhhhh yeah!! Thank you for your time ✌👏
Martel can do a queen cover and not make us cringe that's how good he is!
Marc Martell sings as Freddie in the movie and is the singer with the Queen Extravaganza.
Queen Extravaganza... I will have to check that out. Thank you so much for your time ✌🙌
@@DannymikReacts And while you're at it, you could check out Marc's band Downhere. They made some good rock!
This
When this was recorded, Freddie did all of the voice parts in the operatic section...middle of the song.
Wow i see fredie back to life
This how many times he said wow⤵
Such a shame Martel isn't the vocalist touring with May and Taylor
Marc martel also was hired to do some of Freddies vocals in the recent movie about Queen.
Strangely enough, he even somewhat resembles Freddie in appearance as well.
You got that right. And it looks like Marc has studies Freddie with his expressions. It's obvious that I'm a fan... thank you for your time and happy holidays :)
@@DannymikReacts
All physical resemblance between Marc and Freddie is purely serendipitous. Marc always performs as Marc and doesn’t try to look like or act like Freddie. Brian May himself has stated that Marc naturally has similar voice and similar presence to Freddie.
