Hello to all you viewers and the Queen fans out there! Thank you for your support, I truly appreciate it! Please let me know how you feel about this performance and send me your suggestions in the comment section ❤🙌👍
I fell in love with Queen when I first heard them on my car radio in 1974. The song was Killer Queen and I had never heard a voice like that in my life. I’ve been a fan ever since. I listen to my playlist almost daily. Honestly, I only listen to Queen when we had Freddie. Nothing personal against Adam Lambert, but I just can’t watch or listen to someone else singing Freddie’s songs.
That's the FREDDIE EFFECT! He gives his all. They were very close friends. RIP FREDDIE MERCURY 1946-1991. Died 11/24/1991 45 yrs old. We love and miss you always ❤️ You left is your beautiful voice to carry us alone. RIP my friend until we meet Again ❤❤❤❤
You are basically correct. It gets me emotional to see what they were and that it'll never happen again. Epic performance in my opinion. Thank you so much ❤
This is what happens when someone sings their truth. I cry all the time listening to Freddie. You can hear the struggle in him as he sings --and he shares this with us--because he knows we need someone to love too. He is universal.
Laura L, what a beautiful true comment. I'm 54 and have been a fan since 1977. I poured myself into the band from that time on, along with the other usual suspects from the 70's. But Queen was always my favorite. The books, bootlegs, vhs and dvd documentaries I have collected are pretty cool. I too cannot listen to or watch Freddie (Farookh Bulsara) if I'm by myself and no one's around without getting tears in my eyes. I'm glad I'm not alone in the getting teary eyed thing.Cheers from the canadian Queen nut.
Me too I cry all the time and he hasn’t gotten me through some very tough times in my life he’s amazing the fabulous 4 but there will never be another Freddie Mercury I grew up listening to him 39 years later I’m still obsessed and in love ♥️
There is something otherworldly about Freddie. I have pondered this sooo many times. He always makes me feel like he's truly a level above human. And I am often overwhelmed by tears by Queen's music, whether they be happy tears, lonely tears, sad and desolate tears or simply an overflow of emotions that they produce in me. So you cry all you want. I think most true fans do exactly the same thing I consider tears to be my private tribute to Queen and most of all, to our beautiful Freddie
"Why am I fighting back tears during this performance?" Observers & broadcasters asked themselves the same question while watching Secretariat's legendary victory in the Belmont. And the answer is the same: Because you are witnessing true perfection. And it's joyous x
I'm a metal head and I was too introduced to This Awesome Band and wow Freddie Mercury voice and stage presence on The Live Aid Concert At Wembley Stadium blew me away.
It's so strange but I can tell you that you are far from the only one who experiences this odd feeling of fighting back tears when listening to Queen - especially their live performances. I get that very same feeling, and I have heard other YT reactors mention it too. And we can't really explain what it comes from. There's just something ... emotional about Queen's music. It touches the heart somehow. I think Freddie and his pure passionate vocals has a lot to do with it. It's like a mix of absolute beauty and pain.
"It's like a mix of absolute beauty and pain"... there is it!! Perfectly said! Just watching them do what they so and having so much fun kicked me in the gut. Combine that with how good they perform... it's depressing to know that it'll never happen again. Thank you for your great comment and view :)
We all weep when we hear and see these geniuses at their prime playing perfectly. It’s gone 😢 I miss Freddie and tear up every time I hear him play. The showman gone and we all feel the loss. I’m sorry for the youngsters that can’t see him live. They were so tight and perfect.
... years I simply not able to see him without tears. It was so unfortunally and unfair, he was a really life lover and a song singer. And, on stage, with the spectacular band mates, he shawn like the sun. May God take good care of him.
I vaguely remember some AIDS concert that was performed by a bunch of artists... I believe it was for Freddie Mercury... does that sound correct? There's something undeniable about watching them perform. Their style hits me in the heart and I don't want to hide that for you viewers. I see more Queen reactions happening as I ramp up to get going again. Thank you for your comment and view!!
@@DannymikReacts There was a Freddie Mercury tribute concert for aids awareness which was Easter Sunday 4/20/1992 at Wembley Stadium in the UK after his death. The proceeds went to AIDS research for the Mercury Foundation. An incredible amount of talented musicians joined the concert. It is a great concert with many generous artists but bittersweet as no one has the charisma and unique voice of Freddie Mercury and many fans were still grieving his untimely death. It did help raise the money to save lives of people who were suffering from aids.
I watched a ton of reactions to this song and I think your reaction was one of the more sincere ones I've seen. You also knew a bit about the band (at least their names) and I especially liked where you went with Queen's technical perfection mixed with their relaxed performance. I think one can only be truly relaxed when they've perfected their craft thus making it look almost easy. That song and performance is layered and complex and for them to just lose themselves in the performance hints at how hard Queen must've practiced their craft to make it look that smooth yet emotionally powerful.
I truly appreciate that @Rod Biagtan!!! I don't go all crazy and pump out 100 reactions per week so the ones I do I try to be 100% genuine. There's something about watching this band that connects with my heart. I'm not even a big Queen fan but I'm starting to get there. The respect has come a longgg way. Thank you for the time and for throwing me a comment. More to come (once my kids get back in school. That window of opportunity is simply not there for me during the summer months with a 10, 8, and 5 year old; all boys).
Agree totally! I think they get totally lost in the music and they're so good that they can do that. It feels very natural and easy. Even if you're not into the technicalities of the music, it just speaks to your soul. You don't need to understand it, you just feel it.
The tears are because Freddie's voice was one in a million and his life was cut to short. Freddie and Queen were on the top of their game if it wasn't for Freddie's illness they could have gone so much further. Check out the song White Queen love from a Canadian fan
I have to disagree on one point. Freddie did not leave us too early. He went out on top, remembered how he wanted to be- as a performer and a true professional. he stayed true to himself and kept making music right to the very end. would they have gone on to put out more records- sure. but their legacy will live on for so much longer than so many other bands that changed members all too often. and some bands just dont know when to quit.
Queen fans feel your emotions. The band was pure magic. We LOVED Freddie and will forever. You need to listen to the Live Aid performance at Wembley, absolutely incredible!
Thank you so much.... I'm glad that some of you can connect with me with what I was feeling during this reaction for the almighty Queen. Enjoy your day!
I’m not religious but this always makes me wonder. I mean where does such pure talent come from. If there is a heaven Freddie’s in it for sure. This is such perfection and always gives me chills
Yes, I fight back tears..because it's so incredibly good/ beautiful, and for the loss..so much energy and spirit that was brought, so much life with Freddie and loss
I'll check it out! I have that one and Innuendo as the songs most are hitting me with... thank you so much for giving this reaction some of your time and the kind words. Glad you enjoyed it :)
Very late to this wonderful party but wanted to share something I learned from another commenter. He said that something went wrong with Brian's guitar in the middle of the song & he had to run backstage to the guitar technician. But Freddie was such a pro that he kept it all going. If you watch carefully it's at about 9:57 when Freddie turns from the piano to Brian & only 1 note comes out of his guitar. Yes, you would expect him to play something more right then. Just a second later you see him unplug. Then just a minute later, while Freddie is working the audience, he turns & sees Brian reappearing. Fascinating insight for this die-hard fan!
That's the true definition of band chemistry. I don't know a lot about the band but they seemed to be perfectionists. For this song it hit me that they took the original version of this song and made it better. Then you toss in what you commented on... brilliance! Thank you for your time!
Love hearing Metalheads recognising genius in all forms of music. Thank you so much for recognising the genius of Freddie & Queen, and keeping their legacy alive. Much appreciated x
From everything I’ve learned about Queen, they practiced to an insane degree and their live performances reflected it. This is the best live performance of any song I personally have ever seen
I've reacted to 2 live performances by them and they were equally amazing... that's something you don't see very often. Thank you for the view and comment!
You said it right there... WHAT A BAND!!! Gets me emotional knowing they will never perform ever again! Thank you for the view and support. Much love 💪❤
I had great pleasure seeing queen twice live and a lot of other bands and I can assure you no band came near them then or know truly the greatest live band ever
There's no denying that they were amazing in concert. I've seen a bunch of shows and can say that bands like Metallica, Primus, Korn, Slipnot, Limp Bizkit (to name a few) are also excellent. With Queen I sit there and watch a group that's totally unique in sound. It looks like they LOVED performing, period! I need to dig deeper and keep learning and experiencing why so many love/loved them! Thank you :)
I have to disagree with both of you. As a musician and a fan. There are so many undiscovered bands out there and so much music being created. I'm certain there were people that said the same thing before Queen ever existed and then, boom there is Queen, well its only a matter a time before another gem comes bubbling to the top. Thats just my opinion.
@@artemorbid _"There are so many undiscovered bands out there and so much music being created"_ We are in the age of 'perfect music' and there does not seem to be much impetus for _mainstream_ artists to venture beyond heavily pitch corrected Hip-hop, Rap, & K-Pop slag. Most other genres have apparently been filed under 'niche.' The cream will rise to the top eventually but the coffee tastes pretty bland right now.
They are one of those bands that you think about as you're watching a video. When I say that I mean that they are a band that's not your typical kind of group. They burn a memory in your brain that you'll always remember. This one a great GREAT performance by them. Thank you for your time ✌🙌
Nobody does it better than Queen & the great Freddie Mercury. He wrote this song inspired by Aretha Franklin. I love any & all versions of this song!! Goosebumps! Queen voted best live rock band in 2020 and now you can see why!! Freddie still sits at #1 vocalist in the world cuz of diversity, range, genre, & vocal power!! Basically, he can sing anything!! Gotta do DRAGON ATTACK & GET DOWN MAKE LOVE from this same concert!
I have cried buckets of tears listening to Queen. Sometimes, when my feelings of passion that these guys produce in me gets too big, it just leaks out of my eyes. Just embrace it and let it happen
It's so weird that this happens to me with Queen and when I react to them. I guess I really get some crazy tunnel vision or something... I think about how talented Freddie was and how much people loved. It's also that I've ignored Queen for most of my life due to being someone who prefers the heavier side of music. When I get rolling again with these reactions Queen is near the (if not at the top) of my list. Thank you for sharing your feelings with me!
@@DannymikReacts Cry when the feeling hits you, as it will happen over and over again. We, as Queen fans, have all felt what you feel. We all totally get where you're coming from. Queen lays it's heart on the stage for all to share and Freddie picks it up and offers it to us. Seems I'm either smiling fom ear to ear or I'm weeping openly every time I listen to Queen and to Freddie. Can't control it. Don't want to control it. It's emotional catharsis and we all are better off for it. Keep doing it Danny. It's good for the soul!
@@DannymikReacts As you learn the back stories behind many of the songs, you will become even more emotional about them. Listen to " A Winter's Tale".It is a beautiful song. I believe it was the last song Freddie wrote....about 2 weeks before he died. To know that he wrote about the beauty he saw out his bedroom window as he suffered his last days makes this song unbelievably gut-wrenching for me. He saw beauty in just about everything, even when it was buried in pain
You're fighting back tears because this is... pure musical talent! just RAW talent! there will never be another singer like Freddy! i find myself in tears all the time when i listen to him sing! Live or studio, he is just a vocal god! pure voice! there's no way to describe him!
Beyond what you're saying the sights of how great they were a band hits me in the heart... such chemistry and I love how they have a great time performing so freely. Thank you for the view and beautiful comment ✌🙌
Not only are all of these amazing band members talented, but they are also very smart! Deacon is an Electrical Engineer. Freddie had an education in Art & Design. Roger Taylor went to Dental School. And Dr. Brian May is an Astrophysicist whose research on space dust provided the info needed in order to measure how many light years across our Milky Way Galaxy 🌌 actually is! He has a UA-cam channel where he teaches space science and guitar 🎸 techniques. Amazing group in many different ways! 💖
Thank you so much, Jill... I had a great time doing this one. I'm a fan of the heavier side of rock but there's just something about how Queen grabs your soul.
I feel the same .. Beauty and masterful talented is awesome.... Takes your breath away. Brings me to tears as well. Queen fans hear all the magic still!!!
I feel that Freddy performed like the very gifted man he was in order to make sure his audience would be blown away, and he succeeded. He always gave his very best.
He looked like such a natural on that stage... all of them do. I bet he was an interesting person away from the cameras. The original Queen is heavily missed! Thank you for checking this one out!
White Queen live at Hammersmith will absolutely blow your mind! If this song made you want to cry, you’d better have a box of tissues handy for White Queen because that’s what the instrumental segment will do to you.
You most likely heard the studio version of this on the radio. Queen was famous for their live performances often sounding way different from the studio versions. This live performance blows away the record, in my opinion. It's not that the original record is bad. This live version is just that good.
Exactly!! The radio version pales in comparison to this performance here... night and day if I'm going to be completely honest. All the little extras that he threw in there MADE this song that much more special. Thank you for your time here!!
Freddie describes his music as emotional - that his songs are all about love. Battered from relationships and singing/putting yourself out there in his song or even someone else's -- he said he knew no other way. 100% invested. That connection for an audience - we feel it and keep seeking out others to have that experience - Both thrilling & emotional. Glad it was that way for you!
I had a tear in my eye, too, when I was in the audience - Montreal 1981: the most perfect, most memorable concert I ever attended! I knew I was seeing brilliance up close and personal through the entire concert. Great reaction! Such sweet memories for me. From this concert: "Save Me", which is another heartfelt song and "Tie Your Mother Down" , which is a wonderfully arranged fun song, would be great additions to your reactions. For some earlier Queen work, try LIVE at the Rainbow, 1974 - "Father to Son", "White Queen" - totally mind-blowing.
Wow, what a treat that you were there. I've said this to many Queen fans, I'm obviously more of a metalhead who loves the wild side of those concerts. With Queen there's just something about them that pulls me in. I know that I'm watching excellence. Thank you for the suggestions and for the view!
Just about all songs you are watching live have multiple versions. Freddie proved that they were indeed live performances.. Freddie is oxygen to many of us. I love your reactions- you see it- you hear and see the dynamics!! And thank you for the lyrics! That is great for the new fans who don’t really hear the words.
Saw your reaction to Queen, loved it, and of course, subs. Queen are amazing, the best band ever, a match made in heaven between those 4 super talented musicians. And I totally understand your tears, my eyes always tear when listening to Queen and especially when seeing Freddie, the best frontman of all time, on this and all the multiverses. Queen forever
I totally relate to the emotions. I have been a casual fan since the early 90s as a kid, but I lost my mom in a pretty traumatizing way a few years back, the ONLY thing that got me through was running, and queen. I watched the same concerts twenty times over because they’re the only music that made me feel any type of joy, Freddie gave me comfort in a way I can’t explain. I saw Queen and Adam Lambert two years ago, and I was an emotional wreck the whole time. Queens different, and I can’t explain it, and clearly I’m not the only one who feels this way! I only wish Freddie could see what an impact he’s had on SO many people lives. And it’s so awesome to see the younger generations embracing Queen !
I'm the same age that Freddie would be and I've been a fan almost 50 years. My favorites: "Save Me" (Live Montreal '81), "You're So Square) Baby I Don't Care" medley # 13 Wembley '86, "Stone Cold Crazy" '74 at the Rainbow, "Love Of My Life" Sao Paulo '81 (seeing Freddie and Roger blown away with the crowd singing back to them is tear jearking), "Fat Bottomed Girls", any of the live performances, but the apex of all is the 1985 Live Aid Concert that is still to this day considered the greatest rock concert of all time (22 of the best minutes you'll ever see!). The "Barcelona" video with Monserrat Caballe and Freddie is yet another level above all those I've named. It's Freddie's final performance
Your next Queen reaction needs to be White Queen Live at Odeon, Hammersmith. Freddie's vocals and a huge Piano/Guitar instrumental portion (1 min 45 sec) are so outstanding it will make your head spin, your hands shake and your heart pound. This particular song is just an outstanding showcase for everything that is Queen, thank you for reacting to it.
I saw someone mentioned Exercises in Free Love. I only recently discovered that Freddie recorded an album (1987) with Spanish opera singer, Montserrat Caballe (mont sir raht ka bah yay), The title song, Barcelona, was written, as a request by her, about her home town. It was used in the opening of the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. The original plan was that they would sing it live. Sadly, he died in 1991. 3 must see videos from that album were, Barcelona, How Can I Go On, The Golden Boy. BUT, the vocal recording that got her attention to do that album was Exercises in Free Love. MIND BLOWING. THAT WAS FREDDIE😱😱. UNBELIEVABLE. I’m finding a lot of Queen fans hadn’t heard it. Be among the rarified air 🤗. Heck, do a marathon on these.
This is what I need for the next one because the performance here was one of the best I've ever seen live. The song I heard on the radio was good but this was LEGENDARY! I appreciate the suggestion and your support! Thank you :)
White Queen - Live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975 is absolutely one of their best live performances!! You got a sub from me just for your passion and emotion to music. Off now to see your other Queen reactions. Keep up the good work!
Just heard you react for the first time. I only listen to reactions to Queen, and Somebody to Love - Montreal 81- is definitely the most popular Queen song to react to. But I've never seen lyrics above the performance, plus TWO videos of it - one large and one small - it really enhanced my experience of it even though I've already seen it umpteen times. And your emotional reaction deepened my feelings as I watched Queen too. I'm really excited to see you do more reactions to Queen, so I've just subscribed.
I've said this to other reactors to Queen. Watch their studio versions then compare watch the live version it'll blow your mind! Was lucky enough to see them in the early years when they were an opening act and man it was crazy! Great reaction and welcome to the rabbit hole of great music.
This was a great choice to react to, and I love how you kept you emotional reaction in the final edit. Another great one Danny, you deserve every subscriber you have. Much love ❤😁
Thank you so much, Pia!! I have to say that this reaction is in my top 5 out of 150+ that I have done. Even upon playback throughout the editing process I got so excited to share this with all you in UA-cam land. I'm proud of this one and am glad it captured what I was truly feeling. Much love to you as well... appreciate your continued support ;)
Save me , oh there's so many. Who Want's To Live Forever, Time waitrs for no one, The show Must Go On , Dragon Attack, Exercises In Free Love. That's a start.
Thank you for those suggestions... FYI, I also have reactions to The Show Must Go On and Bohemian Rhapsody on my channel... this is one of my favorite reactions to date because everything came out to easily and my emotions represented my inner feelings/thoughts. Much love from New York!
Born in '65. Queen were outsiders who sang to outsiders like me. November 24, 1991 my heart was broken to hear the greatest performer, songwriter and frontman I had ever heard was gone. Many of Queen's songs make me joyous, many make me cry. Enjoy your journey. LONG LIVE QUEEN!!!
Perhaps "outsiders" for a good amount of their career but that has shifted to the "everyone" category these days. Talent is talent and Queen had uber talent. They are a riot to watch perform! Thank you for checking this one out :)
Definately Save Me from the same concert. I get so much energy watching him and the whole band but part of me goes thru grief seeing this once in a lifetime talent, knowing he is gone and it will never be seen again. I've just rediscovered the real Queen in the last few months. And it is a true journey. Start back at the beginning and you will be amazed at the gems you uncover. Great reaction. So glad I found you. Can't wait to journey thru this with you. QUEEN FOREVER!
If you see Freddie drink from a paper cup that you can't see through it's usually tea/honey or water/honey for his voice. Fact is Freddie spent most of his life looking for true love (after Mary). Thankfully he found it toward the end of his life with Jim (who he called his husband) And Hi. I'm new here :)
Also, just saw your comment about "perfect way to end a show" ... this was literally the 4th song in this concert. They continued at this intensity for another hour. When you have the time and want to jam, just pull then entire 1981 Montreal concert up and enjoy!
I was emotionally exhausted after this performance... I'd need a large nap after one fo their concerts! Thank you for your interest in my reaction and for your comment 🙌👏✌
Queen is maybe one of last true immortal bands of a generation now long gone by. Queen with live on in infamy. Freddie Mercury and the band have staked their claim in rock history. Long live Queen..................
It's a pleasure to see your comment come up and I welcome all Queen fans and those with respect to my channel. This is my 3rd reaction to Queen... much more to come as I continue reacting to these legends! Thank you so much for your time ;)
Freddie was just a showman , everytime I see him perform brings a small tear to my eye and chokes me. The band of brothers lost there front man rip Freddie x
You like your metal - go for Stone Cold Crazy, widely acknowledged as the first thrash song (Metallicas cover version is great) Emotion - go for You Take My Breath Away live at Hyde Park. Just Freddie and a piano in front of 150000 people. Save Me from Montreal is beautiful. There are so many and Queen are as diverse a band as you will ever have the pleasure of listening to. They covered most genres and never wanted to be in any mould. Genius gets banded around a lot, but safe to say they were the real deal.
Freddie was and still is one in a billion ❤️ breaks all of our hearts that he didn’t have enough time to keep creating. Will forever love Freddie. Welcome to the Queen family my friend.
Danny mik, you're crying because you're hearing Freddie's voice of an angel. He had the power to move absolutely anybody. Touches me to my soul listening to this song
I was hearing Freddie's voice, a wonderful voice, but it was more because I will never get the chance to see such a legendary group perform (in person). Then sitting there watching how awesome they played together without looking like they were trying.... an almost effortless looking performance that simply blew me away. Queen was a special SPECIAL group! Thank you for your time ✌👏
Thankyou, great reaction!!!!! Hope to see more Queen along the way. They were an amazing and diverse band. And Freddie was one of a kind, the 4 of them together pure magic. Much bless and keep up the good work.
"PURE MAGIC"... perfectly said!! Thank you so much and I will look forward to more of your comments as I keep exploring Queen vis UA-cam and these reactions. Stay safe out there ❤👏✌
Freddie & the band were just FABULOUS, especially Somebody to love. Freddie's voice is undeniably phenenomenal!!! The drummer Roger Taylor, sensational as well as singing. Amazing band!!!!!!! 💝💝💝💝💝
The Movie "Flash Gordon" was one that I watched a bunch as a kid... loved the movie AND soundtrack. Queen recorded all the songs and I sometimes find myself listening to it while working. They were a band that experimented and I feel it made them who they were/are. UBER amount of talent (across the board)... makes me sad he's gone. RIP Freddie Mercury. Thank you for your view & comment!
Your reaction at 06:40 - made me tear up a bit! I love and watched queen so so many times; but to see how other people, now you, fall in love with this band and how stunned you are, makes me so happy!! Thank you for this video! Lots of love from Germany :)
It's always a pleasure to see someone that listens/watches Queen for the first time. I was at this concert in Montreal in 1981. Growing up Queen was the band I listened to, we lost a legend far too young.
You got hammered for a reason. We wanted to share. Wanted you to experience all the feels. 4 great musicians. So many great songs. So many genres. Enjoy. We'll be clapping along with you every time! 😊👏
I don't know where these reactions will take me but I do my best to keep my composure... it's just hard to see a band (with such great chemistry) lose a member to a terrible disease. Thank you for checking this one out :)
That's a big part of it... I also think about how they will NEVER get to play together again. Such a HUGE loss to the music world and that's coming from someone who is just touching the surface of Queen. Thank you!
@@DannymikReacts I agree totally with you. They will never get to play together again and people will never get to experience the true musical genius of Freddie Mercury. Not only was he (in my opinion) the greatest male rock vocalist of all time but his creativeness with writing music was unmatched. He is really something to watch.
I recommended this to you a long time ago. Nice to see the reaction and I know your inundated with requests. Seen a few suggest it in the comments but white queen at Hammersmith Apollo is incredible and for a metal head like you the instrumental mid song will give you similar vibes
Roger Taylor's drumming and vocals are epic. Loved your emotional response, mirrors mine. If I had to pick just a video to introduce someone to Queen this would be it.
John did not like the sound of his voice , so he didn't sing Much if at all.. the singing was mostly Freddie, Brian and Roger But John was an awesome bassist and he wrote some of Queens best hits. Like another Another Bites the Dust and some great riff, for Under Pressure. He also Built an amp for the Band called the Deaky Amp.
I can totally relate to Mr. Deacon because I have trouble listening to my own voice on these reactions but I truly enjoy doing them. And yes, those riffs in the songs he wrote are epic! Thank you so much for your time :)
A selection for Metalheads : Dead on time-Brighton Rock-Sheer heart attack-Stone cold crazy-Tie your Mother Down-Hammer to fall for vocal ballads : You take my breath away-Love of my life-Who wants to live forever-To much love will kill you-Mother Love Is This the world we created
TIE YOUR MOTHER DOWN - live at Wembley ‘86 (Saturday night film) is Awesome! STONE COLD CRAZY live at Rainbow ‘74. (Metallica did a cover in i think ‘94 and they got a Grammy. Queen never did, but they are in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Jer, Freddie’s Mother, accepted Freddie’s award. Brian and Roger also attended and played live with the Foo Fighters. John had already withdrawn from public life and music).
Thank you so much for taking some of your time to check this one out... it was truly a pleasure reacting and editing this video. I "might" be doing White Queen the next time I get back to them (hopefully soon) 🤔 Hope you have a great weekend ✌😊
Really appreciate your reaction. I agree, it's so emotional, the perfection of how aligned they were to one another, they were pros, each one an artist of his craft, yet without pretense. Just making beautiful music together. And Freddie looking so youthful and strong...very emotional.
The crazy thing is that while Freddie Mercury has such an amazing voice, Roger can sing higher. Innuendo. Stone Cold Crazy. Under Pressure (studio version). Dragon Attack.
Hey John!! It seems like White Queen and Innuendo are the 2 most popular suggestions to consider next... I've heard Under Pressure a handful of times but it would be epic to analyze it. Thanks for showing up and giving me your suggestions. Roger does that one part in Bohemian Rhapsody with his high pitched vocals... the only one that can hit that part... you're correct!
@@DannymikReacts For fun you can do the live version from the Freddie Mercury tribute concert with Bowie and Annie Lennox subbing in for Freddie. She was epic. The one thing I'll say about Syone Cold Crazy is that Metallica covered it and there is a decent live version of Metallica featuring Tony lommi, and Brown May out there. Innuendo is one of their last songs. White Queen rocks. They have an extensive, extreme varied catalog, but the varied also applies to the quality of the songs. One reason for the variety, all four members wrote hit songs, and all but John Deacon sang lead vocals on songs. A fun but inconsistent rabbit hole.
It°s not full true. Freddie can/could sing that high notes in many songs and live too (like here the falsettos in this performance), for exemple in Impromptu, Its a hard life, In my Defence, Exercises in Free Love, Under Pressure, etc. I can give you the links too. Freddie had a much stronger voice, basically a barritone, which is qiuet rare. His voice had thousends sides and shades and nuances and in different rythms. And his vibrato is legendary unique. (A scientist group analysed it.)
I'm sure someone has already mentioned this but just in case, the official video of this song gives a really good demonstration of how well Roger and Brian can sing and just how much work went into this song.
I've been to many live shows over my years and I know that they aren't all equal... Queen comes across as one of those bands where you won't forget the show(s) that you seen them perform. I just love the vibe this and Bohemian Rhapsody gave me. Thank you for your view & comment :)
Queen's music is obviously very good... even if you're not a big fan of them there's plenty to enjoy. Me, I find their live performances so enjoyable. You're right, there's a lot to get to and that's something that excites me. Thank you for your interest!
@@DannymikReacts Thanks! Furthermore, I was totally impressed by your knowledge and research you did, much respect to you for that. It says a lot about you! Subscribed 😊
Thanks. I just appreciate you appreciating something I genuinely enjoy doing. Queen fans are very true to the band and support us who cover them. I don't know much about them besides what I read in the comment section of these reactions. I'm only 3 reactions deep so I've got plenty of work to do and learn. I hope you have an awesome holiday and much love from New York 💙😊
Yes, they do touch your soul. I got emotional because of their undeniable chemistry, something we'll never get to see ever again. I'm more into the harder side of rock but Queen grabs me. Thank you for your interest :)

@@mmaloneym 😁I fell in love with them also in 1974 ... to Killer Queen ❤❤
I have too hear and see Freddie every single day. Im in Queen Groups and it's great!!
@@michelletammydenney6549 me too!
Uber talent within the group... so sad that he's gone. Thank you for the view & comment!
You’re fighting back tears because he was a genius, the whole band was unparalleled, and we were robbed of Freddie far too early.
Queen fan forever man always be a Queen fan and ur life would be good
Me too I cry all the time and he hasn’t gotten me through some very tough times in my life he’s amazing the fabulous 4 but there will never be another Freddie Mercury I grew up listening to him 39 years later I’m still obsessed and in love ♥️
@@jeffcampbell668 With love from the Dutch Queen nut to all you Queen lovers as crazy as I am! 😘
There is something otherworldly about Freddie. I have pondered this sooo many times. He always makes me feel like he's truly a level above human. And I am often overwhelmed by tears by Queen's music, whether they be happy tears,
lonely tears, sad and desolate tears
or simply an overflow of emotions that they produce in me. So you cry all you want. I think most true fans do exactly the same thing
I consider tears to be my private tribute to Queen and most of all, to our beautiful Freddie
Freddie in god-mode... all of them, really.
Almost no words to describe this one... one of my favorite reactions to date. Thank you so much for your time and interest!
"Save Me"... same Montreal live concert... 1981 / "Now I'm Here"... Live @ Wembley 1986... and really... just ANYTHING Queen Live 😍
His talent is undeniable, and I love watching them perform... very magical (in my opinion). Thank you and happy holidays!!
It has past 32 years since Freddie left and through out these
... years I simply not able to see him without tears.
So agree very emotional
Agree totally! I think they get totally lost in the music and they're so good that they can do that. It feels very natural and easy. Even if you're not into the technicalities of the music, it just speaks to your soul. You don't need to understand it, you just feel it.
When the tears come, you are a true fan !!
The first time can be overwhelming because its so epic!!
Tears. Queen are a stress reliever. Queen is medicine.
No one surpasses Queen!!
Absolutely 💯 ❤
Queen fans feel your emotions. The band was pure magic. We LOVED Freddie and will forever. You need to listen to the Live Aid performance at Wembley, absolutely incredible!
I will pluck some performances off that show for future reactions... love watching these guys do their thing. Thank you so much 🙌👏
@@DannymikReacts If you can, do the WHOLE SHOW! I assure you, it's worth the 20 or so minutes. It goes by fast.
Crazy love your reaction- Freddie- Queen- there is no comparison and crying- oh yeah!!❤
Freddie was VERY special... such an awesome band when the lights hit them. Thank you so much for your interest with this one ✌👏
I would like to think God would say "I gave you a great voice and I like what you did with it. You brought a lot of joy into the world!"
Freddie is definitely in heaven 😢❤
Yes, I fight back tears..because it's so incredibly good/ beautiful, and for the loss..so much energy and spirit that was brought, so much life with Freddie and loss
Everyone who loves Freddie are fighting back when he sings... It is the realization of what we have lost
Perfectly said, Romina! Thank you for checking this one out :)
Great reaction. Try Queen White queen a night at the Odeon - hammersmith 75. You won't regret it.
I'll check it out! I have that one and Innuendo as the songs most are hitting me with... thank you so much for giving this reaction some of your time and the kind words. Glad you enjoyed it :)
@@DannymikReacts You’ll be amazed at the instrumentals in that song!
I knew that all along .
Live Aid...the crowd support during their performance is mind blowing and very touching...what a band!!❤❤
Music just isn't the same anymore. Maybe that is just me reminiscing 😆
Music is just a shell of what it used to be... it's not even close! Thank you for the visit!!
@@artemorbid If they can figure out, in this confused and polarized world, how to do promo.
@@artemorbid _"There are so many undiscovered bands out there and so much music being created"_
We are in the age of 'perfect music' and there does not seem to be much impetus for _mainstream_ artists to venture beyond heavily pitch corrected Hip-hop, Rap, & K-Pop slag. Most other genres have apparently been filed under 'niche.' The cream will rise to the top eventually but the coffee tastes pretty bland right now.
Don't you just love Queen and Freddie, timeless music, legend band. Nothing more beautiful than natural beauty.
Gotta do DRAGON ATTACK & GET DOWN MAKE LOVE from this same concert!
yes! yes!😊
A lot of passion and facts put into this comment!
I saw this concert tour in 1981 when it came to Toronto. FANTASTIC and this is the opening number. They're just warming up.
The thought of them opening with this song... what a banger! Thank you for sharing some of your time with me on this reaction :)
Love ur reaction to Queen, masters of harmonies.ive seen them twice live.totally awesome. Been a fan since early 70s. Nice one.x
Agreed, that's an absolutely phenomenal performance! One of my all time faves for sure
@@DannymikReacts Thank you for you

...the tears are for you knowing what is lost when you see this performance. RIP Freddie.
Pure musical talent elicits a pure emotional response. Subbing.
It truly does and did for me. They are a pleasure to react to! Thank you so much for your interest and support!!!

Thank you very much...I cry too
Love Freddie Mercury. Bless you
I don't know where these reactions will take me but I do my best to keep my composure... it's just hard to see a band (with such great chemistry) lose a member to a terrible disease. Thank you for checking this one out :)
You're emotional because you were watching hands down the greatest band of all time past, present and future. Truly a gift to experience.
This is just amazing and never gets old!! ❤
Roger Taylor's drumming and vocals are epic. Loved your emotional response, mirrors mine. If I had to pick just a video to introduce someone to Queen this would be it.
So glad you enjoyed it. Emotions run wild when you're reacting to a bank like Queen. Everything about them feels so genuine! Thank you!!
One of my very favorite Queen performances! (There are many !!). Thank you!! 😊👑
A selection for Metalheads : Dead on time-Brighton Rock-Sheer heart attack-Stone cold crazy-Tie your Mother Down-Hammer to fall
for vocal ballads : You take my breath away-Love of my life-Who wants to live forever-To much love will kill you-Mother Love
Is This the world we created
Don’t forget Get Down Make Love, Son and Daughter, I Want It All...and best of all is White Queen at Hammersmith
@@leonarae8496 Those are genre exceeding and for metal a bit tame. We don't wonna give new fans an overdose of quality. LOL
I WANT IT ALL - do the Official video, it’s good. (Queen were not touring at that time)
YOU TAKE MY BREATH AWAY - I really love Freddie’s voice with only his piano version filmed live at Hyde Park. It’s emotional and absolutely beautiful.
Your fighting back tears because you’re seeing greatness and are sad that Freddie isn’t with us any longer except in the music.
You are exactly correct. I watch what they had going and it breaks my heart that it'll never happen again. Thank you for your time 🙌👏
Freddie makes us all cry from the sheer magnitude of his genius and this song takes us to a soulful level- I love your reaction!
Thank you so much for taking some of your time to check this one out... it was truly a pleasure reacting and editing this video. I "might" be doing White Queen the next time I get back to them (hopefully soon) 🤔
Hope you have a great weekend ✌😊
I'm 73 and still get goosebumps watching Queen! They were a powerful group; all artistically accomplished and educated with MAS and PhDs. 💜💛💚🧡
@@johncampbell756 ye he can singer highter but FM is the greatest vocalist of all time in my opinion
@@nesimusic9153 Freddie was a perfect singer .. he was the greatest vocalist of all time by far
Amazing , truly organic band , Queen , ❤ Freddie is so amazing ❤
The guy was legendary. I don't even have to "love" Queen to realize he so so damn special! Thank you!
QUEEN ia always the best forever......
I'm sure someone has already mentioned this but just in case, the official video of this song gives a really good demonstration of how well Roger and Brian can sing and just how much work went into this song.
I was lucky enough to see them live in 1981. They sound incredible in person. Over 40 years later it still ranks as my favorite show of all time.
I've been to many live shows over my years and I know that they aren't all equal... Queen comes across as one of those bands where you won't forget the show(s) that you seen them perform. I just love the vibe this and Bohemian Rhapsody gave me. Thank you for your view & comment :)
You will absolutely love spending time down the Queen rabbit hole if you love these! There's sooo much more! 😊
I.love how you love our Freddie and Queen❤❤❤
They had a God given talent. Freddie's in heaven!
There's never been a better group nor will there be....they touch your soul....
Yes, they do touch your soul. I got emotional because of their undeniable chemistry, something we'll never get to see ever again. I'm more into the harder side of rock but Queen grabs me. Thank you for your interest :)
