Those kind of terminals are horrible.. and the way are made are the worst.. I'm replacing new cables and new heavy duty terminals.. that's my task in between today and tomorrow.. a lot of people don't know this and they ended up replacing either pcm, alternator and batteries.. at the end the problem still there. @@justinroy4602 in dodge is a common problem all the wires are old and the computer won't detect full signal. What I did, I install a external voltage regulator I got that from eBay, and you have to watch another video Wich explains it all.. you will probably need help but if you have some knowledge helps a lot trust me. Let me give you all the links

4:11 Time. THAT BATTERY CABLE POST - with the large gauge wire, NEEDS TO BE REPLACED . OR removed from the lead post connector, and REPLACED. There is corrosion / oxide, which one can plainly see . This, is your 1.2 volt difference. Some resistance in that oxided connection. AFTER replacing both battery leads, APPLY GREASE to them, this will prevent the oxygen in the atmosphere, from corrosion. ( old trucker )

So can you just take the positive off the passenger side then put a jumper off that same batter and attach it to the positive connection on the drivers side? Seems as the terminal is what is toast? can anyone confirm?
Corrosion creeping into the terminal connection, reducing the charging voltage from 14+ to 12+. The terminal is faulty and needs to be replaced, or the whole pre made cable needs to be replaced.

Best I can tell there is corrosion inside the lead terminal creating a barrier.

I fix my issue, it was the cable, but main thing is the voltage regulator
Let me know if you need help I have 14.8 v no issues it all, and it was something else not just the wire
