"Will this happen to all faithful organisations" how can the Cof E consider itself a "faithful organisation" when they are ignoring the scriptures and adopting its anything goes policy?
And all this talk, controversy, time, energy and threat of legal action when the membership of the CoE is rapid decline. What are they thinking of?
The perks of the job, a monthly income and hopefully a good pension. They're just shuffling deck chairs while the Titanic is sinking.
I think the C of E governing body believes that their ‘wisdom’ and ‘authority’ superceedes the Bible and thus God. They appear to be creating ‘another’ gospel and we all know that St Paul said that if anyone teaches you ‘another gospel’, “let him be accursed”!
Just because some have jumped through the hoop already, should not influence the way forward.
IMO the Canons were put in place for the church's protection, not as an obstacle course for future generations to circumvent.
I shudder to think what Spurgeon would have said or done in response to all this? How the C of E has descended into apostasy!!

The Free Church of England, the Evangelical Connexion thereof, or, if you are willing to Bin the Liturgy, the Grace/Confessional Reformed Baptists are probably the best Options IMO.
I understand your point, but which denomination, Baptists are probably going the same way. RC perhaps. The church is lost Revelation is coming true before our eyes. Hold your personal faith close, forget Vicars, Pastors they are part of the problem. Stay close the the Lord and you will not be lost as many will. Read the Word that's the path to go. It's going to be tough. Hold on tight.
Please come to the Ordinariate and join the Western Church as our ancestors did. You are needed and wanted.

He will deal with the unfaithful in his perfect ways (he is perfect in all his ways. Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.) Keep feeding on his flawless word; it strengthens, e.g.,

Time for the remnant church folks, Rev Dan Archbishop of Canterbury, Rev Brett Archbishop of York. Two men who stick to the word of God.
Which way will THEY go. Dan its your Synod, you too will go that way as a part of the church, as will I my friend, even if it is against our wishes. The question is what to do if we disagree. Incidentally, given the 2/3 majority needed for the full decision to take it beyond experimental material, it is not likely to pass.
So, IOW, all this malarkey is just a blind, to show that they are seen to be doing something for the 'rainbow crowd', knowing full well that their efforts will come to naught. All this wasteful expenditure of resources, money and time when the clergy should be doing their job....their 'calling'...to spread the Good News and the Gospel.

How can the Church preach a message of repentance if they no longer recognise sin? How can the Church expel unrepentant sinners (Mathew 18) if the Church no longer recognises that such behaviour is sin? Will Bible believing Christians that speak out be sacked under safe guarding rules?
Matthew 18 says precisely the opposite. You're acting jealous of the 100th sheep. Jealousy is a sin, repent!
Homosexuality isn't a sin necessarily, it requires context😢
Surely one ought to be sure that no doctrinal change is involved before allowing even 'experimental' use; and if I've understood right, that would have to involve that 2/3 Synod majority. The idea that you do something like this with significant implications for those involved and only afterwards do you get the vote about the doctrinal issues is playing with people's lives in a very questionable way??
Also the legal consequences could be problematic not least because the theoretical 'national church' currently has a weekly attendance of less, I think, than 1% of the population with a large % of non-churchgoers probably wanting the unbiblical answer. The public reaction to that kind of situation could be a real stink....
Synod nod to sin
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and it was very good. Then God made man from the dust of the earth and breathed His life into him. He made woman to be comparable to man. God gave them dominion over the world. But they were deceived by false teaching from the serpent Satan and handed the dominion that should have been theirs to Satan. God promised to restore man so that he would ultimately overcome Satan and the world. Over many centuries God spoke to prophets about a saviour who would be appointed by God. About 2000 years ago the promised Saviour came. His name was Jesus which means God is salvation because He would save His people from their sin. He was born of a virgin and he was fully God and fully man. At about 30 years of age he began his ministry which lasted just over 3 years. He was crucified and on the third day he rose again from the dead and was seen by about 500 people. He died for my sins and rose again for my justification. Who is he who overcomes the world except for whoever believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and this is the evidence that we have overcome the world our faith. Jesus restores to the place we had before the fall. Jesus reconciles us to God and this is the first step to reconciliation with other human beings. We can once again walk with God.

It's time for a number of bishops to consider their position. That means step down. Current behaviour by some in lying, misleading Synod and more is not acceptable. Such people cannot be respected but who disciplines bishops? Several need to have a CDM at least and some removed.
Rev Dan, with the greatest of respect, you are wasting your time and energy analysing all the latest nonsense from the CofE. Just LEAVE this apostate body and spend your time actually preaching the gospel in a God honouring, Bible believing Church.
Agreed - if St Paul came back - his Epistle to the CoE would be highly critical - indeed he’d be absolutely furious!
Matthew 7:16-20. Excluding LGBT from acceptance does cause harm, that's bad fruit so the tree must be cut down. Jesus commanded Christians to be the good trees, so those that affirm same-sex monogamous marriage are obedient to God.
I fear Stephen Davies you may be right. No-one is going to turn the C of E from wickedness to righteousness using legal action.
@@DM_Andy Except that according to the Scripture, God rejects same-sex sex and marriage so doing those things is definitely DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD. "Harm" is when real harm is done - the 'harm' complained of by the LGBT is pretty much equivalent to the 'harm' complained of by bratty teenagers who scream that their parents "don't love them" when the parents won't let them do whatever stupid and harmful thing said bratty teens selfishly want.
@@stevelangton829 There's a paper, Burns, Butterworth and Jorn that showed higher rates of depression, anxiety, unalive attempts and substance abuse for gay and bisexual people. But also showed that almost all that increased risk was eliminated with positive support and was increased with negative support. Telling an LGBT people that they are wrong, diseased, evil, demonically possessed or fit only for Hell is proven to harm them in this life and as it doesn't stop them being LGBT doesn't help them in the next life either, so why do it? When we got rid of slavery it was argued that was against God's word too and we still did it. I don't think that you and Rev Dan want slavery back again so what's the difference?
The rules are widely ignored. So what is the point. There are no sanctions for priests that go do exactly as they please. Rainbow alters, shelter skelters, raves in the naves and same sex married priests. Along with blessing/ baptising Muslims and Islamic prayers in churches and cathedrals. I think I am pretty much done with church. My own vicar has said many times that he is just waiting to retire and does care to do any work in the parish. He keeps announcing that we are going to restart Sunday school, like it is something that he has organised, but he hasn't and there is no safe place in the church to do it. Bishop of London thinks the elimination of Israel is a legitimate and worth-while cause more that saving the church in England. Honestly Dan, things are getting so bad, I pray daily for Jesus to speed his return, because I see little to warrant the continued existence of any the present world. The massacres in Nigeria don't even get a mention on the news. People can openly protest outside number 10 with plaquards calling for the execution of Rishi and Christian witnessing on the street are ordered to to harassing the public. A man recording a March past his hose is pushed back into his own house. I could go on. I am tired of it.

Find comfort and God’s presence in praying the Psalms, John 14-17 and the Epistle of John. Our devotion is to Jesus our Lord not to institution ‘churches’ or governing ‘authorities’…they are not God, even if their delusion they think they have His authority while disobeying His words. Jesus said that if anyone loves him, he will obey my words and he that does not love me, does not obey my words! ….”have you not read that in the beginning God made them male and female…”. The C of E is NOT “The Church” and never was! It had people who were IN Jesus’s church and body, along with many who sadly are not. Find a fellowship of real believers who love Jesus and his word!
