LYRICS:
ASK YOURSELF IF YOU ARE HAPPY AND THEN YOU CEASE TO BE.
THAT'S A TIP FROM YOU TO ME
AND IT'S WORKED FOR SURE
I DON'T ASK MYSELF FOR NOTHING ANYMORE
MY PEACE IS FREEDOM FROM THE MASSES
BUT THE MASSES CAN NOT SEE
THAT'S A TIP FROM THEM TO ME
AND NOW I KNOW FOR SURE
I DON'T NEED NOBODY'S HELP NOW ANYMORE
WILL I BE ALONE TONIGHT
I DON'T KNOW
WILL LOVE LEAVE ME ALONE TONIGHT
I DON'T KNOW
EVERYWHERE HE GOES SOMEONE SEEMS TO KNOW
THE TRUTH ABOUT THE THINGS HE USED TO DO
AND THAT'S HARD FOR YOU
IT'S SO HARD TO BE THE ONE WHO KNOWS IT'S TRUE
WALKING THROUGH THE PARK MY FINGERS CLENCHING TIGHT
THEN I NOTICED THAT I'M ALL ALONE TONIGHT
BUT ITS HARD TO KNOW FOR SURE
IF I EVEN NEED TO THINK NOW ANYMORE
WILL I BE ALONE TONIGHT
I DON'T KNOW
WILL LOVE LEAVE ME ALONE TONIGHT
I DON'T KNOW
My peace is freedom from the masses. The masses cannot see that's a tip from them to me. Excellent lyrics.
People walking by me at work keep asking if I'm crying 😂, I say no it's just bad allergies. It would be way harder to explain to them that I'm so inspired and in awe of Jack White that I can't stop crying. I don't think the would understand..
@ Kris Wozniak : some of us get it. Totally at where you're at.
Tom45340: Taylor, Sabrina Henriksen and more, are suggested friends for you

this sounds like a gospel song to me and i have been listening to gospel since around 1960 love the harmony
I'm in awe too!
how is this song so good??? that small 'will love leave me alone tonight?" part is fucking brilliant, I can't stop replaying it
I just listened to the whole album, and it is just so beautiful! Every single song is truly amazing! I grew up listening to Jack White and I recently just got to see him perform live for the first time. Such a memorable night! I’ll never forget it! Thank you Jack for all your incredible music! You inspire me. Hope to see you play live again soon! 🤘🏼💙🤍✨
Which album out of his two new ones? I am loving this/these as well.
Right, love the gentle version of Taking me back
@@KitGuardian I love both albums a lot! I love Fear of the Dawn, but I’m really loving Entering Heaven Alive! I hope Jack does another round of touring for this record. 💙✨
@@jeremypillet I love that version too! It’s so good! 💙✨
You’re very welcome.
Jack played this when we saw him in Seattle, and the studio version is absolutely haunting. I can't stop playing it.
Parker Parker Alonso
Such a killer song Very zeppelin III ish. Bravo Jack! Nobody... nobody.... is bringing it like you anymore.
It's also so Rolling Stoneish !!!
Yes! I was thinking Bowie-esk for sure! Definitely has a 70’s vibe👍🥰
I hear Beatles and Led Zeppelin
absolutely -- the first few times i heard it on the radio i thought it was Robert Plant singing......
Y'all check out All The Witches? Talented! - based on all your comments, would be worth a look. "Alabaster" Jack is Great!
Great music, it makes you go back to the level of quality you only find in the 60's or 70's music. The influence of Stones, Zeppelin... its all there.
zeppelin yes stones no
@@larryduvall9475 totally the stones. That's the first vibe I got from it.
Sounds Jaggerish.
This is very Rolling Stones inspired and I love that
If he doesn’t win a Grammy for best rock album then the Grammys should cease to exist….
Picked up this album at third man records on launch day (7/22)- drove from MN to grab it- been spinning the record ever since - this song hits me the most.
Quite late 60s Beatle-esque. Well done Jack! Loving the lyrics on this album.
White Album
Was looking to see if someone thought this to I had to pause it and say jack pulling up like the Beatles?? Okay I’m in😂
Has a real Stones 1971/72 feel for me. Could almost be an outtake off Sticky Fingers or Exile
Frenzied with love.
This made buy vinyl for the first time in ages. 😘
Hello, how are you doing it’s nice meeting you here
Wow. I can't stop listening to this song it's incredible. I'm in awe of Jack White's talent. To continue to be able to make good music like this, it's just incredible. Definitely the best song I have heard in a while!
The best artist of my time. I grew up listening to so much music and no one compares to the music that Jack White produces. Got to see him in concert last year and the two people I took with me knew why I considered him the best.
You can tell by the comments that his style is so unique that people tend to put him in a box and compare him to bands he doesn’t even sound like. Even when those bands (except for the Beatles) aren’t his main influences. Can we agree that his style is so unique that you could say it incorporates parts of every kind of good music? His voice is similar to Robert Plant’s but that is just his natural voice. We all know bands that have a singer that TRIES to sound like Robert Plant.
What a jam. Reminds of something the Beatles could have made
Thought the same thing.
Sounds more like The Rolling Stones to me
No, more like the Rolling Stones
Nah, this is pure Mick and the Stones.
This is mick jagger 30000000%
New Jack White! Thank the Heavens!
Please keep making music! It's what keeps me going.
You know it's true Art when it seems as the song is you, deep in your soul you. The art of the spoken, the played, and the visual. Our first art of sound- a stick drumming on a hollow log, felt first then heard then shared- our first visual art- a hand print in dusty earth, wiped away and done again to show others, our first songs, sounds today we could not understand, but would feel and recognize.
In History I like to call artist 'Druids'... they are our Druids today, they create what can be heard and felt by countless of our kind, but even Druids are young ones for our lines, yet even now we hear and see them showing us our oldest selves reflected into our worlds today...
It is deeply comforting to feel how old, new, and familiar it all is- the way art in sound, words, and visually taken in that changes us, renews both new and old. Peace- mjb
Interesting take! You call them Druids. I call Artists Alchemists because they can turn garbage into gold. They can transform something ugly and find beauty in it. It’s almost like a Magic trick. They leave me amazed constantly.
Heard this song on wfuv and I never heard it in my life so I'm very grateful to be able to find a song I loved at first sight. Why have I never heard this song before?
Because it just came out. I think. It looks like it's only two months old
Heard this song when it came out and now I just heard it again on the radio, he’s back on the airwaves!
I'm happy now that I have everything I need. I know you do too Jack. The past cannot be changed, it's echoing into the future forever. The greatest show on Earth. When can we go home?
Love it, you can hear jacks honesty and relate, which makes this music beautiful.
Good music still exists
Thank you Jack White.
Was so good to see him perform this live!
This song is so good I love to see him sing this in concert I have not been to his concert yet but I love the whole way out the band everything Jack White and I love is just so good who is a babe too ❤ nothing personal Torrance Mrs White I don't mean anything bad at all I'm just saying he's extremely talented I just watched Cold Mountain in a long time and I forgot how adorable Jack White really is I'm sorry seems to be. Either way excellent entertainment find music they are artists thank you
One of the best new songs I've listened in ages, I'm finally adding it in my best of playlist, the whole album is wonderfull, but this is the gem that touched my soul, bravo 💙
Love these visuals
Got a "Rolling Stones" vib going on...👍
Thank you from Detroit!
Jack White just caught up with The Beatles. Great, great song.
Reminds me of when I was a young grade school boy & a preacher man told me, " all songs played on Earth are first heard in Heaven " 🤔...I'm 51 now & still wonder
Best song he has written in a decade. Amazing! Just want to learn to play it on my guitar.
Has an old Jayhawks vibe. Great song!
Good call
I love this song so much!
Jack's best album since Broken Boy Soldiers
If "Angie" by The Rolling Stones and "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin had a child... It really made me wonder!
This man amazes me! ❤️
This song is so painfully underrated
BEAUTIFUL
The song has a nice 70s vibe to it
Such a beautiful song. Great chorus jack. Powerful in its beauty, very evocative. Tears bubble just below the surface.
Quelle exaltation !! ☁️☁️☁️
This whole playlist is such a treat💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨
I heard this live first. Such a great song full of emotions. I lost a teardrop or two in the second row..
really good!
Whoa.
Este men es pura inspiración 💙🎸
Beautiful 💖
I prefer his acoustic work like this the absolute most. In fact, I don't have most of his songs in my playlists except for this and one other off the same album.
Fantastic!!!
Pure, enviable brilliance. Wow.
One of the best ever from anyone and I know music!
Love will never leave You
it opened with a brutally realistic tip. thanks man needed that
i love this song
I’ll play this with you on July 19th, 2023 in Milwaukee! I’ll be releasing my first rock album on that night!
Love you song jack you and Luke evans are the only singer for me this year 2022
Yes sir. One hundred percent spot on. I'm here. Ready. I've definitely noticed since I started writing again, your writing and music has gotten better again. So no more sleep no more wondering. I'll send my demo in the next three days. Here's my extended hand for the shake.
00:56 “will i be alone tonight” is gorgeous but I’m surprised to not see anything acknowledging Ben Folds Army reference. “I’ve been thinking a lot today” is identical phrasing and melody
Allways when I start this song, I never know before, if I will cry or if I will fly. Sometimes both.
I will always be searching for the best help.
That's life.
Love this whole album 🙌🙌
Beautiful song. Favorite
Strong Elliott Smith vibes. Love it.
Wonderful led zeppelin feelings.
I love the world entertainers with every ounce of my being🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖
WoW my pal Steve Kemp Victoria BC Canada you two have the most wonderful voices. Same tempo amazing. He's gone big C I think I found a new gentleman to listen. It sent shivers all over my body. Darn right wild.
Hello, how are you doing it’s nice meeting you here
Awesome song, awesome album ❤️
this feels like a paul mccartney song man!!!!!
This song hits hard and I'm thankful for it🧡
bangger
This sounds to me like Rolling Stones revival !!!
Fantastic !!!
I know! I was in my vehicle when this came on. I thought it was a long, lost song of theirs or LZ! Like, wha?... I've never heard this one.
Love this! Sounds like something off Exile on Main St
Beautiful. Your art is one of a kind.
holly molly, what a song!
It really is so great every song and the piano driven songs is nothin short of pure roots music, layered throughout. I got a tip for you Jack. This might be your finest hour and that is saying a Lot! Drop another dime..
Amazing sound, as always, that meter just gets in your head and away it goes
good ballad
Best song from these album
Going to get a vinyl copy today!!! Been listening to it on Spotify very good some of the piano parts remind me of the lazaretto days
Didn’t really care for fear of the dawn….I really do believe that jack white is at his best when everything is stripped down but I totally understand that he probably has a desire as an artist to experiment with new sounds and push boundaries but I appreciate that he made this beautiful album.
Definitely has some Rolling Stones vibes!! I like it!! 👌😊
Cool. Love the piano. Giving Diamond Sutra.
❤
This has a Nicky Hopkins touch to it. I see a lot of Stones references in the comments. Nicky played on a lot of Stones recordings
ohhhh aMAZING SONG
I hope they give you a award for this master piece but of course it will be the same women every year you’ll know who I am talking about
Hello, how are you doing it’s nice meeting you here
Bangerang!!! Thanks!
The Rolling Stones approve this song 🎵

Melodic, it’s true, I can dig that, about..... YOU 🎼
