@@Alex-js5lg I respectfully disagree in this case. Yes, some people have natural aptitude for singing, but this guy is using very specific bel canto techniques. Not at a professional level, granted, but he definitely has had some exposure to classical training. Pay attention to his pronunciation of certain sounds like "-ee," "-al," and "r" sounds and how he deliberately morphs the pronunciations to a "ə" sound to keep his soft palate open. I must have watched this hundreds of times now. I always watch it at least twice each time. It’s hands down the best thing on the internet 🎉. Even better than Dimash’s SOS😂, and that’s saying something! This was off the cuff and he’s hung over ! Incredible xxx
Even if he's not a professional, he is incredibly talented and controlled in his delivery. This is a beautiful performance. Well done to both of these guys.
He was just passing by, a normal looking guy, when suddenly for a few minutes he changed into a beast, and then came back to normal and disappeared. As a human, I find the whole scene beautiful
It's like ...his voice is not coming from a live performance, it's like a studio cover of the song! The dude is better than most singers and he is so charismatic too. I can see him being a famous singer!
@@DainelleSpeaksTv I liked Dalton's version, he has an amazing voice but it didn't portae as much emotion as Greg did here in my opinion. Going to check Dalton's catalogue though.
After listening to all the good renditions I can think of, this is definitely the best one. No one has actually done it like this. That Dalton dude's rendition was a pretty good exhibition of vocal range but it was a bad rendition of the song. It wasn't emotional at all. It was changing a song up completely and not even finishing it just to flutter a bunch of crowd pleasing high notes. It's the particular notes and the way they were delivered in the original song which make it stand out. What basically made an original live version popular for being so emotionally sung, this Greg guy ended up doing it but much better because he somehow had to really reach into his voice box to pull out those long notes on "run" for example. To me it's like a pop star singing a national anthem and then twisting it all around and changing it up just to add a bunch of extra range in the notes. It would sound better to me if someone just sang the ever loving shit out of the song as it was originally. If they can manage to do a little of both it can also be amazing.
Classically trained voices always stand out. That steady vibrato and breath control. He should be a professional or a band somewhere. This dude got pipes and can carry with minimal effort. We need more of these singers today.
@@GoToMan not entirely necessary. With singing they are there more to help you figure out what you're doing wrong but they're not in your body and everyone's muscles, mouth and vocal chords don't work the same so they can only steer you in a direction that may correct your issues. You literally have to be your own teacher when it comes to singing because it's so unique to each person.
Can we just acknowledge the support of his lady friend?! She is so cute and proud of his performance. I love the whole energy of this video! And he let it all out. Awesome vocals!
I know Greg personally! He is the greatest guy, and a beautiful singer. Brought a huge smile across my face to stumble across this video. Bravo, my friend!
He has an expressive and powerful voice. I really enjoyed this and it helped me understand this song better than I hv b4. Im not feeling great about myself today and Im glad he was just honestly himself. It felt very real and good 2 hear it sung w such emotion. Great job!!
The emotion he puts behind it is just WOW! Especially when he belts the run part. I was so impressed with his emotional vulnerability. This song requires it to really hit home.
Why can't all people/total strangers come together in unity like this? Color, race, nationality just mixing together and having a wonderful time. Love what you're doing.
Well they did. But if you want "all" people in the whole world to be like this, then you'll be eternally disappointed. Why subject yourself to that. Just appreciate the moment.
People absolutely do, have you ever heard the term divide and conquer? The media and the political parties ,all owned by the elites will try to separate us into groups to make us fight against each other. If we ever realized what they were doing and banded together we would illuminate all of them. That is their biggest fear and it’s why they keep us fighting with each other and I blame the ignorant people for going along with it,an d for turning on the news and listening to these morons and there talking points. There are bad people in every race, it makes no difference the important thing is to not let the actions of a few cause you to judge an entire group of people. Ignore race and color and just look at them as the person they are based on their morals values and the way they treat their friends, family and you, at the end of the day who cares what color they are it doesn’t matter.
One of the best “Creep” renditions I have heard. My man has a spectacular voice. Thanks for allowing this medium for people to express themselves musically. A true blessing.
When he let loose and really started singing, you could tell all the stress, anger, daily bs and work, all the frustration of daily life, was blasted away with every word he sang. He walked away a happier lighter man, also shows his true calling is that right there. Unreal. Had me tearing up towards the end, I could feel every word, so powerful. Amazing guys. Reggie you are just the best. keep it up bro.

I’m one of those people. I have a pretty good voice- I know I do. I record myself all the time, but until high school, I was always SO unrealistically nervous to perform for people, especially my family. But recently, my friends managed to push me past my comfort zone, and little by little, I’m letting myself perform for people. I can tell I’m improving now that I’m not as embarrassed to practice! I was even able to hit the GIGANTIC high note in “heart of stone” from the Broadway musical Six. Which is one of my dream roles!
@Ellery Martin I wish you the very best for you and your future! 👍 And I'm glad you were able to break outside of your shell. At the moment in my life. I'm in the process of doing the same of slowly breaking outside my comfort zone. @@DainelleSpeaksTv I liked Dalton's version, he has an amazing voice but it didn't portae as much emotion as Greg did here in my opinion. Going to check Dalton's catalogue though.
@@DainelleSpeaksTv I've heard it. I think he has a beautiful voice but I didn't like his rendition. Creep isn't a Pop song.....lol
Daniel Harris has a full sound track or band or whatever they use I don’t watch it enough to know but this was just with a guitar. This is excellent.
@@Magneticitist spot on. Very well stated and I completely agree with every word.

@@GoToMan not entirely necessary. The media and the political parties ,all owned by the elites will try to separate us into groups to make us fight against each other.
