    Just put a 4th Gen “Viper-Cut” on my front bumper. Trimmed the back of my fender and hammered my pinch welds. Prepping for my 295’s baby! Body mount chop is next. 👍🏼 I can’t think you enough for these videos!!!!

    Nicely done, could you have used a heat gun and tried to fold the trim in after folding the weld in? Also put some glasses on please. Then discs go boom a lot .

      I mean I suppose you could if you wanted to, I don’t have a heat gun and it just wasn’t that big of a deal to me personally, but you can if you choose to. Noted!😂

      Yes you can. A heat gun is like 20 bucks. Not only looks better but keeps mud/rust from getting all up in there

    What caster are you running?
    I have a 2003 gx470 with 285/70R17s, but I’m considering 34x10.5 tires which are really 33.5 by 10.6 per mfg specs
    I don’t rub at all with my 285s and 17x9 -12 rims but your video has me worried since your tires are more like 33.3” tall.
    I also have TC UCAs and I’m at 3.7* caster and no front sway bar

      Yeah I’m not sure🤷🏿‍♂️ I’d say if you think moving up in tire size is important then go for it! The pinch welds are no biggie

    What’s your tire size? do i have to chop the body mount and the fenders if i put 285 70 17 on my 2006 4runner? thanks man

    • @Garrett_Logan
      @Garrett_Logan  3 місяці тому

      I’m running 295/70r17
      But no you shouldn’t have to chop the body mounts with 285’s

    Do you think heating up the pinch area at the bottom with a heat gun would make it the bending and pounding easier?

    • @Garrett_Logan
      @Garrett_Logan  8 місяців тому +1

      A heat gun won’t get the metal hot enough to really make a difference. The pinch welds are made of really thin metal anyway, so the pens really easy. Applying heat to make them bend really isn’t necessary in my opinion.

    How big of a lift are you running in front and back?

    • @Garrett_Logan
      @Garrett_Logan  10 місяців тому

      The front is 3.5” and the back is 3” unless you plan on running weight and a bumper in the back then I’d say 3” in the rear may be too much
