Just picked up my 4th gen 4.7 and found your channel. Looks like solid straight forward content. Thanks for the info
Congrats man!👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Thanks! I appreciate it!
The new cameras have some crisp footage bro @Garrett Logan
Another great video! I’ve been waiting for this one for a while now. As you were riveting that bracket onto the A-pillar, I was like “DUDE… the tape!” Then you mentioned it right after. I literally lol’d. I love your channel my man. Keep it up!!👍🏼
Haha😂 that’s what happens when you rush!
I had to make light of the situation at least😂. Thanks man!!! Sorry to keep you waiting for so long lol
Snorkel looks dang good bro @Garrett Logan
I have that dobindson snorkel in my 4runner and after 2 years its holding great, ❤❤
They’re great snorkels!
Congratulations on such a fast build. I started on my 2007 4 runner 8 years ago. You are catching up fast and passing me in fazes. I don’t have or no if I will ever get to snorkel. My next purchase is tabletop that mounts to rear bumper swing out. Keep it up I like watching you build a masterpiece.
Thanks! It’s a process for all of us lol. I definitely need a table that mounts to the swing out as well!
How's the body lift Holding Up bro @Garrett Logan
Perfect timing on this video I am getting ready to install mine today. How long from start to finish do you think it took?
Sweet! It took a few hours for me, I started towards the end of the day and it got dark so I had to wait until the next day to finish
Always wondered why the intake end of the snorkel faces forward. Wouldn't it be better with the opening facing rearward? Granted it will look strange.
I think it’s all just placement, the intake is at the front of the snorkel so I guess that’s why they make it like that.
Snorkels head can face both ways backwards on dusty roads in a convoy or if there’s a chance of water being forced in, it faces forward so clean air is forced in better airflow
@@darrengeorge2308 oh I understand the question now. Yeah I’m in agreement☝🏿
Which bumpers did you buy?
I have the coastal offroad bumpers

Does the snorkel obstruct your view at all?
No not at all it’s on the A pillar so might add a few inches of blind spot nothing that impairs your site every second 4wd had one here 🇦🇺😂😂
Not at all, it blends in with the A pillar
First🤌🏼
Looking awesome mate going to beast of a yota
I’m not going to be a know it all cunt but if you ever fit another or anyone asks always use a holesaw and and a body saw if you have one or a Reciprocating saw with fine cut blade as for your fastening studs always allow for movement when fitted as if studs are tight in hole they often rub and make noises so if you hear anything that’s what it will be
I’m an Aussie and have worked for ARB and TJM fitting every accessory you can think of I also done my mechanics apprenticeship at Toyota if you need any help or are looking for parts I’m willing to help anyway I can mate keep it shiny side up 🇦🇺👍
Haha no worries man! I had to learn that the hard way😂 will do!
Hey Darren, I'm hoping to avoid buying two new random hole saw sizes. Do you think I could just use a smaller holesaw to cut tight to the cutout pattern, and then use my body saw to follow the cut line all the way around?
@@hybridlightsolutions6515 hey mate yes that will work fine I normally use one that’s a little bigger stops any rubbing that may happen nothing worse then a squeak or rattle, file and paint edges same with bolt holes I use a step drill and drill slightly larger I test fit and try to have at least 5 to 10 mm movement when in place. Hope that makes sense and good luck 👍🇦🇺
@@darrengeorge2308 Beautiful! That's in line with what I was thinking, so that should be easy enough. I'll probably throw it on this weekend. Thank you!
