I saw these guys in Denver last year. Leo played and danced the whole time - THE WHOLE 2 HOUR SHOW - and was absolutely never short of breath. Dude is a machine, and the whole band is absolutely worth seeing live.

My favorite Denver venue!
It takes a LOT of breath to play the baritone Sax continuously for any length of time.
This guy is really fit to be able to move around and play it the way he does.
He also had a little didgeridoo sounds with “circle breathing” which is incredibly hard to do.
Most folks wouldn’t understand how hard these two guys are working for their “donations / tips”. 👍👍👍🇦🇺
I don't have trouble with breath while playing bari. I get that some people might but I have big lungs and imo its easy to play long on bari without breathing.

Its not incredibly hard to do circular breathing, it just takes some training. He doesnt even sustains long notes, which, i agree, are a bit harder to master when playing solo. But thats not the case with the rhythm he’s playing.
I love seeing this much talent and have total respect for these gentlemen. Wow! And I am so glad there was a steady stream of financial support for them. Sometimes people walk by like nothing is going on. So glad to see people supporting. Bravo!

the sax player is Leo P. He used to be in an awesome band called Lucky Chops (who are still playing together) and one called Too Many Zooz. If you liked what he's doing here I'd highly recommend searching "Lucky Chops NYC subway" as there's loads of videos of them playing in the subways and both bands are amazing with great musicians.

At 1 minute and 20 seconds, he starts turning in circles while keeping his feet on the floor. And when he does, I just lost it. I was choking because I couldn't breathe from laughing so damn hard! Between him and his percussionist, they had the subway on lockdown, and they owned the night/day. Now I know why so many people were leaving tips for them. Hell, I wanted to tip! THEY WERE WORKING HARD FOR THAT MONEY AND DESERVED EVERY PENNY! I mean, who in the hell can make their instruments sound like safari animals? Not even the sax player from Saturday Night Live.

That beat is literally what an 8 yr old can play. The comment above is not wrong. It doesn't mean he doesn't have some skill. But it's light years easier than what the Saxophonist is doing, which is much harder.
