You just cant beat the late 90s. The money was big,but things where always done with care. The money these days is huge, but too risky. Back than there where the magazines, different covers and art. Even the booklets and manuals where cool. As well as the menus, title screens, layout, font.... Now we get things like dragon quest 3, where its a remake of a great game, but its lacking in everything, from the text, to the way it looks. Theres no extra art or cool menus. Anytime the game ks mentioned, you get the one single cover picture along side it. If you play a gamecube game for instance, youll see the difference. Youll see they put extra love into the title screen, the menus. If you look at the manual, theres always other art thats not in the game, if you look at guidebook that came out with the game, same thing, theres always different art, stuff that probably didnt make the game or menus or manual, and if you look at a nintendo power issue that was out st the same time that features the game, youll again see the extra stuff. Ots just so consolidated and boiled down now. There are no preview parties. Theres only online hype through youtube and twitter n such. Its just lame
Big money and corporatism have sucked all the life and fun outta the gaming industry. Indies are the only things left with that creative spark, and even that is few and far between.
Tommy has always been a fraud. For some reason up until a few years ago, people still called him legendary and kissed his ass, but I've always seen through him. It really doesn't take much to realize he's always been fake. But people loved him until the amico fallout, but you could see the entire time, that he's just a snake oil salesman. He's always talked up things he does, and talked down on everyone else. He's the king of short man syndrome. He thinks ppl are impressed with the sunglasses and the car

We need NFL Blitz back! I loved playing NFL Blitz 2000 on my PS1 so much.
Love these shows every week. This time, we got to see a vintage Jedd Gurstman dominating at NFL Blitz. Fantastic time capsule.
Jedd? 😂😂😂
15:18 You can actually pinpoint the second that Jeff Gerstman realizes he hates Tommy Tallarico. 😡😎

Very tempted to figure out a way to run these through my CRT for max nostalgia.
Forgot about Interstate '82. Rented that a few times back in the day.

17:40 Vic was wrong lol, we still have competition and many of the same players. Things do seem to be levelling off though.
I love the PNP ads.
Jeff Gerstmann remains a threat
Time to Kill was better than Zero Hour. Land of the Babes was a disappointment
