Todays meal prep recipe is straight from the golden arches of McDonalds and is a McChicken with a side of their famous thin cut french fries. This will be prepped for the week in just about one hour and will keep the calories low and the protein high. It only takes a few minutes to reheat and will be as good as new.

Book tours and all for his first cook book. Guess how much? 15.00 on Amazon. Never in my 34 years have I've heard of 110.00 for a damn ebook. I mean there's a sucker born every minute I guess. I was hesitant to make this because of all the prep work and clean up. I finally made it the other day and it's an absolute cheat code for dieting. Taste exactly the same as McDonalds. Only thing I would do differently is freeze the raw chicken patties for 30 min to an hour to make the breading process less messy. Other than that, masterclass.

I did loads of tests on chips, like a month of no-oil baked and air-fried chips (I gained a lot of weight that month)
The sugar is necessary to make the outside cook to a crisp, instead of that stretchy outside you get with baked potatoes.
If you use oil, there's no point adding the sugar, except for taste.

just tried it today. Its pretty solid. But it can be hard to handle the chicken without some kind of binder to help it keep it's shape. I've found that shoving the meat into the freezer for 30 mins to an hour helps it keep its shape a bit better and only slightly extends cooking time.

To convert 230 grams to cups we use the following equation: cups = m / (ρ * cup size), ρ in g/ml or g/cm3.
    For example, for water with ρ = 1 and United States “legal” cups we get Cups = 230 g / ( 1g / ml * 240 ml) ≈ 0.42.
For water, 230 g to cup makes 0.42 cups with a capacity of 240 ml. Butter and milk would have a different value though, as ρ ≠ 1.

i wonder if the used beef stock could be reused in something like Chili or sauces?
it has starch from the potato so it will thicken up.
if possible, let it sit in the fridge and the starch settle down. giving you a thicker potato starch beef stock, maybe freeze it after?
have to make 2 or 3 dishes now.
    but hey its meal prep,

Did you do any tests with freezing the chicken and then reheating? 🤔

I'm so excited to try this, I get McChickens all the time. Quick question, how well would this reheat in the microwave? I want to take this with me to work and I only have access to a microwave

It just wouldnt be as crispy and fries would be more soggy like usual left over fries from a restaurant. People microwave it and still like it, but air fryer just is another leve

just make sure ur airfryer allows you to use oil first, some dont and will destroy it in the process
