Congratulations bro
I honestly don't know how this guy isn't at like 2 million subs. He is without question the best at making substitution recipes that are insanely close to the real thing and so much healthier. If he started a healthy fast food style restaurant with just like 15 items, 5 breakfast, 5 lunch, 5 dinner I swear he'd just obliterate anything else within a 40 miles radius.
So so happy to see the Iron Musket make another appearance. I need more of you two in a vid. Preferably with the banter and brutal honesty of testing recipes, calling someone out for some 🐂💩 they did ….or didn’t do. Until next time….✌🏼
So I just made this dinner tonight... and all I can say is wow! Nick, you're a boss! I bought your cookbook because of how many of your recipes I've tried that have turned out great! It's the least I could do to support all of the hard work you put into everything you do. I'm watching from Toronto and have been amazed at how much you've grown as not only a content creator, but as a human too. Much love from Canada and keep up the amazing work, it's people like you, Greg, Derek, your new roommate Musket that actually make a difference in people's lives. God bless you guys for all that you do and I wish you nothing but continued success.
Wow that looks really good. I must've missed a chapter, when did Iron Musket move in lol
Stop it I thought the same thing 😂
I was also coming to ask if he moved in and glad I’m not the only one thinking this.😅
😂
Honestly blows my mind how phenomenal this meal prep recipe tastes for the macros/calories it has.
I have made this 3 separate times and each time it blows me away. Plus it makes my house smell amazing too
Love the recipe. if you want to make your steak a bit easier to cut. put it in the freezer for 20-30 minutes before cutting so it's more firm.
The production of your videos is soooo good now! The Iron Musket difference!
Glad you enjoyed bro!
I just bought your cookbook and it's even better than expected, amazing job man!😊
Thank you so much!
nice job . i like the recipe - lots of good tips. Thanks dad 🥰
Solid fajita recipe! I didn't have the extras to make the salsa or rice but the addition of the poblano and Anaheim pepper was a flavor game changer. 😍
Damn bro your production value went way up! Is that Iron Musket on the edit?
I did have the pleasure of editing this, thank you!
@@EditorMusket It was awesome, really enjoyed it.
Agreed, those are the best meal prep containers
Did you rinse the rice prior to cooking? Gonna give this prep a try this week.
Started my 3 week fat loss sprint today! Doing 1000 calories week 1, 1400 week 2 and 1800 week 3. Hoping to lose 10 pounds before the beach 🤙🏽. Still strength training 4 days a week with a dedicated cardio day on a rest day on top of my 10-12,000 daily steps. Let’s get it 💪🏽
also Poblano peppers i feel have way more flavor than anaheim. Poblano is traditional for the “ala mexicana” which is like the real deal. Poblano gives us traditional chile rellenos and are very very flavorful 👀👀👀
Was just revisiting Sam's fajita recipe last night!
😂 I’m sorry but as a Mexican all my salsas start with 15-20 Serrano peppers as a base so when I hear you say “drop the Serrano” it just breaks my heart gives me a good laugh 😅😮😂
did musket edit this video? LMAO love it
Thanks haha I did
Video edit went crazy
Thank you! (editor)
I've been eating chicken fajitas to help lose weight. I definitely need to try some steak fajitas. I like to use tortillas though. I tend to buy bags of frozen peppers and onions. Although fresh veggies do taste a little better sometimes I just want what's quickest and easiest. I also prefer to use packets of taco seasoning. Sure there's more sodium and whatnot but again it's just more convenient for me. And for rice I just buy packs of flavored instant rice that you can microwave. Macros aren't the best but I only eat a little. I'm not a big fan of mexican rice. I'll buy either chicken and broccoli cheddar flavored or chicken fried rice flavored. What's good about dieting is that there's more than one way. You can literally do whatever is best for you.
The edits on this video are hilarious 😂
Glad you enjoyed lol (editor)
This channel would be the #1 healthy cooking channel if it had timestamps/chapters and ingredients + macros in the description
And maybe ingredient measurements not weight.
Can this be the iron musket and cheat meals channel now? All in favor of the permanent collab of him cooking and iron musket eating the food with his accurate scale rating say “Aye” I’m sorry but that scale talk last collab was hilarious 😂😂😂
Haha that would be so much fun, unfortunately he lives in Texas and I live in
Is your cookbook meant for meal prepers? Im favoriting this so i can cooj this at my house, but i wanna avoid as much spicy stuff as i can, so what should i not include in that? Im not fully aware of what are spicy and what are not.
Last question, is there a real difference between each bell pepper? Ty for your time if you ever answer these questions
It's for upper middle class people for sure because it's INSANELY overpriced.
masterclass
This is gonna take me FOREVER but I’m gonna make it next day off
Especially weighing each ingredient 😡
How many grams of each ingredient did he add to the beef?
Can you please confirm if the containers used are 3.2 cups each? I know they're linked but just want to make sure as they are a bit expensive.
It almost looks like they are 4.7 cups with the amount of food you've put in them
They are the 3.2 cup containers. That is correct!
@@Exercise4CheatMeals Thank you!
but eating out of plastic containers, good or bad for our test?
Wow yummy
how many times can you lose 20lbs - boy bye. you look like perfection and you go fr perfect to perfect i guess
perfect to perfect 😂
Nice
Good
Weird, randomly bought flank steak today to change up the protein. Then this dropped as soon as I get home.
Flank steak is a great option too!!!
The lord has spoken
Boom!
what if you deglazed the baking pan you roasted the vegetables in and put that into the salsa?
So glad Musk moved in
Bring back Rick and old intro
Also whats the best sugar substitute? Splenda swerve?
LOL. Everyone has different preferences. I just love swerve.
lean pizza, lol
Ingredients are weighed not measured 🤨
For cheaper buy top round in roast form and slice it your self
Also a great idea!!!
I like my coffee like I like my rice….iron musk colored
lol
this is a fajita recipe and you said soy sauce. i just had to stop the video right there. 👀
worshtishire sauce would have given the same result as soy sauce and fit more with the other flavors.
ok now i can continue the video
I promise you wont tell the difference. I have been eating it for weeks.
Omg he replied to me 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
first XD
Lemme see your tong ta ta tongss
Which calorie counting app did you use in the beginning of this video, man? I’m sick and tired of MyFitnessPal 🫠
