Thanks, great video! Did you ever 3D print or order speaker housing for your driver’s side? About to install speakers in my ‘91 Acty HH3. Didn’t have any system preinstalled so prob gonna run into that same issue.
Ended up actually selling my truck for a van model after but your best bet is to retrofit custom little plastic mounting piece. That or if you can send dimensions of the little black box to me I can try to 3D print another.

Did you use a wiring harness with the factory radio or rewire everything with new. I have a 95 Acty and the fuse panel is japanese. Not sure which route to take.
From what I remember when I did this I had to run all custom wiring for the new head unit. You can stick with the old speaker wiring but it's a little thin. Also my best advice is to look up the English translation of the fuse panel you can just run a fuse tap if needed.
Cut off the old radio connector and splice on the one that comes with the radio. You can also reuse the speaker wiring. There are two wires run to the right side of the dash even if you don't have a right speaker.

Why is your ignition like that? Lost the key?
What size speakers did you install?
4" I believe
6.5 will fit but you have to drill new mounting holes
How do you get the door panel back on? I’m fighting mine.
Typically pops back in you have to slide the top end over kinda a tight fit
