Do you know if that 7" deck will fit in the Subaru sambar truck?
I feel like I need to help you out... Install a foam that has aluminum foil on the side opposite of the body sheet metal. Aluminum reflects heat really well. It's about the infrared wavelength. You could also add aluminum foil to the face of the sheet metal facing the engine. I promise if you do that it will be nice and cool. An even better idea is to add steel sheets right under the aluminum. The engine will heat up and start radiating...it will heat up the steel, the aluminum foil will reflect and spread it....then the body sheet metal and finally the foam and second aluminum foil over it. The convection part with the radiator under the car is something that you also could duct out. Again try to use steel sheet metal and aluminum duct tape...like the kind with the really thick glue because you want separation. Anyway I hope this helps. Steel is a really bad heat conductor while aluminum is a great heat spreader and reflector.

Great video! Where did you get the trim plate for the Jensen head unit? I have a Subaru Sambar Dias 2 with the same dash and want to replace the head unit and trim plate.
I end up just putting some rubber there was nothing for the bravo. Sambar is more popular they’re might be a kit
Did you take a look at the JDM mitsubishi delicas? If I was going to own a Japanese van in the states, those things when fully kitted out are badass!
Delicas are fire, they're just HUGE but thats a much better exploration van then a kei lol

Dope man lets get these bravos here and the radio that was in my car was a single dim with the blank space for a double din so as long as you get a double din radio the around 7inches it should fit easily
I wanna swap the head unit on my stepwgn but i dont know at all what im doing, yall make it look so easy
stepwgn Is a bit more annoying but still not that bad location is weird on the honda

Ah here we go, this is the video I needed. So it looks like you just reused the original mounts and spliced in all the new wires? Sweet. Now I need to find a double din with android auto and see if I can get it to work.
Hey yeah I was just going to respond to the other comment I got a Jenson radio for like $300 I believe it had android and apple car play. I have a ton of videos on my bravo like sound deadening, changing the fuel filter and other upgrades that helped daily drive it for a year. Enjoy your kei van!

Yeah I sold mine and actually bought it back a year later lol and then sold it again. Till this day the bets kei van I ever drove or owned. Only think I wish it had was the glass roof but full loaded in every other way@@MikeDigMT
@@Waybeforethefame So funny, I suspect you'll find your way back to another one some day.......I've got the glass roof, or as they call it, Super Aero Roof =] Now if only I could figure out how to get it to light up, which it allegedly does around the logos. I'm jealous of your manual transmission. They really are super fun cars just need to have realistic top speed and power expectations. My lawn mower has a bigger engine..but it's not as fun to drive.
I loved that van and went on several roadtrips cruising at 110klm for hours but yeah the 5 speed it probably better for high speeds@@MikeDigMT
I've got a 98 minicab truck. What would you reccomend doing for a stereo setup in 2024? Do the same thing you did? Or would you do something different?
