That second point is something that I’ve been experiencing recently. I used to eat sugary cereals for breakfast before changing to more balanced meals. Nowadays, eating what I used to eat leaves me feeling drained sooner than I used to.
The point isn’t to take away the sugary cereals. If you enjoy them then you should eat them. It’s about what you can add to make them more filling and balanced.
hunger is not inevitable but also not completely avoidable. high volume homemade meals are the best, i barely felt any physical hunger as i was always eating homemade meals throughout my weight loss experience. high protein, lots of veggies, can’t go wrong with that
I was always so scared of being even slightly hungry that I would over eat all the time. Trying to conquer that now, teaching myself being a little hungry sometimes is okay.
Same. I know the reason too. Until I ended up in orphan house my family was really poor and we didn't had much food. Often I was hungry, so now as an adult I'm scared of that feeling even tho now we have food. Now I don't have to finish everything on my plate, but because when I was a child I had to,I struggle with that too. I wish you the best, I hope with time we all can overcome our struggle.
I'm always hungry if it's less than 2500+ cals a day. The good part is that for me, 2000 cal hunger feels about the same as 1700 cal hunger since I'm a big fan of veggies and healthy proteins. Things medication will do to you, I guess.
Your Hunger Crushing Combo have saved my life. I've been such a yo-yo dieter, weights ever changing & dealt with ED in my youth. But, as an adult, adopting your guide has dramatically changed the way I eat & also feed my family!!! We feel so much better now & the "hang-ries" are occurring much less with my small child❤❤❤
I’ve found if I’m stressed enough to have an anxiety or panic attack, I got straight to chocolate. I know there’s science behind it but I forget but it instantly calms down my anxiety and stress levels drastically. It may not all be gone but it helps a lot.
sugar and fat might be helping as it releasing dopamine. i would recommend regular exercise as it can increase overall dopamine levels and reduce the amount of panic or anxiety attacks you’re experiencing. i believe there’re studies about it
Chocolate doesn't have to be avoided at all costs. You just need to eat less of it. I have found that coffee helps with chocolate cravings. Also, higher quality chocolate helps. It isn't healthier, but it's richer so you feel like eating less of it
I've only tried implementing HCC in every meal and snack for a couple months and already see the difference in how I feel, look and how my clothes fit. Also, my relationship with food is getting better every day.
You’re genuinely the only influencer who’s given me realistic, easy to maintain healthy eating strategies. I’m losing weight more consistently than I ever have in my life and I’m not hungry all the time, I feel satisfied! Because the HCC concept really taught my the importance of how different macros are important to consume together
Using her hunger crushing combos to help me lose weight in a more sustainable way for my wedding, we're moving in a few days and I'll be fully starting then! Can't wait!
My hunger signals are all out of whack due to decades of gastroparesis, and I can’t get them to normalize now that my gp is under control. Add in menopause, and I’ve gained 30lbs!
I’d love to know why I crave salt sometimes when I normally am not a salty food person? I’d say my electrolytes are generally in balance And I drink a significant amount of water per day. No health problems that I’m aware of? But every couple months or so I will go through a period of days where I am craving potato chips, cheese, nacho cheese sauce for some reason. It’s really uncharacteristic.😂
I absolutely swear by your HCC!!! I tell everyone about it, too - it’s works like magic to keep me full and get more nutrition into my body every day! ❤️
When I started consuming strictly whole foods it's actually difficult to gain weight. I'm a 37 female. Workout 3 days a week. Cardio on alternative days.
I have narcolepsy so I’m always exhausted and the whole time I’m awake I’m starving and I only crave junk food constantly. Salty, sweet, and fatty. I eat tons of cheese. I eat almost no produce because it takes so much effort to clean and chop and goes bad so fast and then takes time to cook and I just have no energy. This was a short clip and didn’t explain what can kill hunger. I wish I could hear the rest.
I've noticed the cramping nauseating hunger aligns with my high blood sugar dropping to normal, start at 130 fasting sugar ride the pain, 115 , next wave 100, but once its down the pain waves stop.
Depends on so many things, your current weight and especially the body composition that makes up that weight (how much of it is muscle and how much fat, etc), your biological sex, what kind of protein you're eating (plant-based protein is absorbed slightly less easily, f.i.), if you want to build up your muscle or just maintain what you have... The RDA of .8 g of protein per kg (not pound!) of body weight applies to animal protein (if all or most of your protein is plant-based is probably best to go for 1g per kg) and is enough to maintain muscle mass but not significantly increase it. 1g of protein per pound will definitely be enough to grow muscle mass but it's also probably overkill and for most people rather difficult to maintain; 90-100g of protein daily will likely also get you there and will be a bit more sustainable maybe. It's not super easy getting that much, although of course it can be done. Good luck!
I realised this whenever i started to get a rumbling stomach if I stayed up late. It wasn’t because i was hungry it was because i wasn’t sleeping. Makes no sense right? But i have tried to eat during those times in the past, but i just wasn’t hungry and it just made me nauseous trying to eat too much. So i knew something was up. And i never got that rumbling stomach if i went to sleep on time
Also consider doing a parasite cleanses every three months a natural simple easy one…and watch the black sludge of the sewer fall into the toilet…then you will start digesting foods better…and loosing real weight … and or just maintaining a healthy balance of what you can and should or should not eat …
What about the gut’s microbiome? If you’re eating a s-ton of sugar, example…aren’t you feeding the wrong microbiome? Don’t those bacteria send their own messages to the brain, essentially, screaming at you for more sugar or more whatever the thing is that’s supplying the wrong types of energy and to which are feeding, almost invariably and ever replicating and increasing in number?
If you know that insulin spikes cause the hunger sensation, why do you advocate for so much food that causes that? And why so much fiber-that isn’t needed unless you’re eating things that require fiber to digest properly-the cause and cure for which are both irritating to the gut? Why not just eliminate that, and eat the protein and fat that bodies actually need to function and skip the irritants?
Yes i was eating 1500 calories on average everyday and I was literally soooo full lol because I was eating healthy but when I was eating unhealthy 1650 I’ll be starving
You speak like every human body is the same. When I get stressed/anxious I lose my appetite. I don’t eat more; I eat much less than I normally would. We’re not all the same person, and our bodies don’t react to stress in the same way.

Why gardening is such a wholesome - it'll help you ground and give you a mental break from this feverish pace our lovely host is such a promoter of. The kinda satisfaction using produce that you cared for yourself is also so beautiful, that just a twig of rosemary makes you feel much happier (and at peace) than any bougie piece of rotisserie chicken, weird fashionable condiment, rushed heap of veghies, or sad pile of sugar, salt, and and fat can give you. Please allow yourself a little peace of mind in Nature, or culture dearest Abbey! You're overhyped - use it all that energy to connect with Nature if only for a brief time. I am really worried that you are stressing yourself, cos you have removed yourself from being grounded, wholesome, and coming off as well balanced. I hope you are feeling well - you sure deserve that! ❤🤗

@@alicedeathbelle I also don’t enjoy them as much as I used to

Same. Sometimes I forget to eat because I stay satisfied for so long until my body is like “FEED ME!” and I’m dizzy and ready to eat immediately!
This is how I cook for my family. But feeding 7 like this means we just don't have it in the budget for junk food snacks.
What are some recipes that were your go-tos?
I was always so scared of being even slightly hungry that I would over eat all the time. Trying to conquer that now, teaching myself being a little hungry sometimes is okay.

Hey! Can you show me where I can find this “hunger crusher”? Thank you 😊
I’ve found if I’m stressed enough to have an anxiety or panic attack, I got straight to chocolate. I know there’s science behind it but I forget but it instantly calms down my anxiety and stress levels drastically. It may not all be gone but it helps a lot.
I think it’s just the sugar
sugar and fat might be helping as it releasing dopamine. i would recommend regular exercise as it can increase overall dopamine levels and reduce the amount of panic or anxiety attacks you’re experiencing. i believe there’re studies about it
Sugar soothes the anxiety centres in your brain and reach it within 5mins whereas carbs take 20mins.

I’ve heard that carbs help your body process the excess cortisol!

Which is why I like a meal that can make me feel full
Yea I’ve started increasing my protein a lot throughout the day and I literally can’t eat anything for dinner because the hunger is not there.
Hey abbey you are so inspiring!! I always look forward to your videos, you have changed life’s! Best mom ever 😊

I find it interesting you mention cortisone, can a medical necessitated cortisone shot affect this?
Some people eat out of boredom as well.

Question how much protein should I eat to get to a goal weight of 130 pounds? I thought I heard 130 grams of protein? Is that correct?
only if u actively try to build muscle. half of that will be enough to preserve it
Depends on if you are also working out but it is also up to if you are a male or female your age and current activity level

I would like to buy your combo creation. Is there a plan made or how can we get an appointment ?
Abbey has videos on her channel about her hunger crushing combos, theyre all free here on UA-cam

Thank you for not saying that if you think you are hungry, you are really just thirsty.
Im loosing weight and expeirnced the least hunger i have in my life (had eating issues before)
Can you speak about abnormal hunger cues esp when related to sleep apnea which I believe is really under diagnosed.
Am I having an anxiety attack or is my blood sugar just low?
I starting eat cleaner and I’m hungry a lot 😢 I’m eating 500-600 calorie meals and a 150-200 snack daily or veggies 🥕
eat a good amount of protein with each meal!
also for people who feel hungrier at school, boredom can make you more hungry too

Yes.
Thank you for explaining this! I was actually wondering TODAY if thats always a thing. Off topic, make a wish on your necklace being at the clasp 😂.
If I don't eat enough, I don't get hungry. I get anxious, angry, crampy and faint.
If you know that insulin spikes cause the hunger sensation, why do you advocate for so much food that causes that?
And why so much fiber-that isn’t needed unless you’re eating things that require fiber to digest properly-the cause and cure for which are both irritating to the gut?

Yes i was eating 1500 calories on average everyday and I was literally soooo full lol because I was eating healthy but when I was eating unhealthy 1650 I’ll be starving
I will be ravenous when I wake up, then nauseous and feel full after a single mouthful of breakfast. My hunger queues are deranged and untrustworthy 😅
And then there’s menopause.
You speak like every human body is the same. When I get stressed/anxious I lose my appetite. I don’t eat more; I eat much less than I normally would. We’re not all the same person, and our bodies don’t react to stress in the same way.
And then some of us are on high doses of
corticosteroids
I feel like I had an Aha moment listening to this video
How about dreaming of food? 😂
You might also be thirsty. Drink a tall glass of water and mostly that will do it. 😉
Water does not replace eating
University students must have terribly hunger cues then, constantly stressed and undersleeping!
I personally experienced far more stress and undersleeping as a working adult in a demanding job, than I did in uni 😭
