So happy to see Skye for a boy on this list! We used it as a middle name for our baby boy who we welcomed in December, Ethan Skye. We were inspired by a visit to the Isle of Skye the year before last as well as our deep love for sky in all its glory. We chose to play it safe and pair it with a more common first name that has a lot of meaning for us, but if he chooses to go by Skye one day, I won't complain :)
P.S. As an avid watcher of your videos, thank you for all the inspiration! I binged a bunch of them again while choosing our son's name, and found both the lists and especially your whole naming philosophy to be very helpful!

River is my favourite name and has been on my list for about 5 years, we’re definitely using it for one of our boys! Slightly annoying that it’s getting more popular but it hasn’t put me off using it ☺️

I never new I had so many relatives that would make your baby name lists. I have great uncles with the names Hugo, Edwin, Roman and a cousin named Brett. As far as unusual names, I went to school with a boy whose middle name is Bird (after Larry Bird-one of the best basketball players in the NBA), and for a name I always thought Denver was an unusual name. I also had a great uncle named Urban. For August, I've heard people use Gussie instead of Gus or Augie. Glad to have you back SJ. Hope all is well with and your family. ❤

I’ve got an Ezekiel and loved seeing the name pop up on this list. I was worried it was a bit too unique and unheard of after we named him but we loved it and still do, so no regrets. I love Franklin if he ever has a little brother, so equally happy to see it on the list 😂 I think Zeke and Frank would be so cute together 🥹

I've heard a lot of vintage names that have made a comeback at my daughter's school, 3 in particular being Ambrose, Clyde, & Warren.

I have no clue what direction we’ll go in, but after seeing this video, I like one syllable names and names ending in S, to match.
Mack /Mackenzie, Tom/ Tomothy as an idea. I have a Melody so I like ending in similar sounds or starting with the same letter. I liked a lot of names on the list though, these two stood out as pairing well with Melody. I will still add the others to my list though because my husband shoots down 98% of all my name ideas. The middle name will also be Edward and last name is Smith. I like Shiloh, Remy, Anderson/anders too.
Other traditional names I like are Gilbert, Gregory, Albert, Douglas, Stanley. Interesting boy names I like are xerxes, quinlan, xavius, xen, ezri, eames like james, arik like R rick or A rick.

We have a Fergus, but he gets Fergs, Gus Gus or Goose more so. Watched all you're videos first pregnancy and never saw it come up so surprised it is now! Second baby due anyday and we've gone with Hudson :) love all the name lists!
I really like Evander, Casimir, Felix, Remy, Fergus and Percy( I would use Percival with Percy as nn). Some examples of unusual names; Elizander, Événor, Henare, Iskander, Leolin, Ùisdean, Vangelis and Wendelin.
Ok, hear me out: Buster and call him Buzz. My husband thinks I'm nuts but I think it's adorable!
It's not my vibe, but anything goes these days. If you can have a Blaze, Blue, or Spike, why not a Buzz? Buster makes me think of Buster Keaton. I do think they'll get Buzz Lightyear as a possible nn which you could love or hate 🤷♀️
Named our son Minho (korean husband), but a good international option (pronounciation wise). Spelling or similar name options like Mino, Minnie, Minnow are also quite cute! (*Mina as a option for girls!). So many great names!
My husband and I could not agree on our 4th child but 3rd son's name for THE LONGEST time, boy names are just way harder. We are going with Sebastian. Middle name is still to be determined. 😅We've got just a few weeks left. ❤❤❤❤

I am a teacher so have come across many unique names, some that come to mind are soldier, captain, knight, tiger, takiya, and katar. I have even more unique girl names haha ❤
Wow a lot of power names!! I loved the name Tiger and we did consider it but my husbands parents had a company called Tiger so we didn't know if it made it too weird to use it!
I love Mack short of Mackaiah. It's one of the most unique names I've found so far.
Often spelled without the c, Makaiah, and pronounced "mack-eye-uh".
Recently met a little boy named Lucky 🍀 never ever heard that one before but fits him well.

I named my son Olivander and thought maybe I heard it on one of your lists. I could be making that up. Obviously, it's in Harry Potter. I like it because it is unique, haven't met any other Olivanders, but we call him Ollie which is very popular so he can choose what he feels comfortable being called.
Could even be "Anders" too!
A very unusual name I just heard is Caedmon, for a boy. I think it is an old English name & possibly a saint's name. I love it & applaud

I love Rainer or Rayne. Most unusual I've seen are probably Theron, Elario, Weldon, Grover, Asa, Jahari, and Chalon.
I have Reynold which is technically vintage gold but we haven’t met another yet so I like that it’s more original.
I next had a William and I now wish I’d been more daring/original with his name.

Living in malta (Italian influenced) and the name Ellia is popular, it is so gorgeous on boys but I feel I am too British for it to suit. I thought it was unusual when I heard it and it really stuck with me as being a 10/10 name

Oh I was waiting for a good boy name list! I’m due with a boy in June, and I’m completely blank on names. The only boy name that I like I already gave to my other son! My daughter did suggest Hugo from a character she read about, and I kind of like it, but my husband isn’t on board.

The most unique boy names ive seen are Artaius, Vitas, and Deremetrius. Very cool names tho. We went traditional, love out there names but nothing felt right. I was so out there with names my family was shocked when i picked Matthew for my son. Haha 😂 but i love it. Its the perfect name for him. And now im about to do my second embryo transfer next week. Our first son is Cove Alexander, and we just named our second son Mars Eden Frances, but I have been calling him Eden/Sweden (Sweet Eden) so I think I might amend that and make Eden his first name. Boy names are hard!
Ah yes definitely go for it as a preferred name, it's so good to be flexible! I always call Evelina, Blossom, which is her middle name because she loves it so it's kind of like a family name for her now - ha ha! x
My daughter’s name is Aura Bloom but we call her Bloomy a lot, I don’t regret calling her Aura as her first name but, it’s her name and she suits it but it’s like the middle name as the nickname is a special little family thing just me and her Dad do (she’s 3 In a few months) ☺️

So true ,boys names is are bit challeng!!! I thought about Alexander(too popular in a Slavic countries as a first name) as a middle name for our baby Felix, but thought it's might be tooo long on the end. I like meanings both of them. ❤ On the end we choose Albert as a middle, I really want it as a first one,but didn't like short variations like Alby or Berthy ...just not my vibe .... But now we haven't baby boy name at all,as we used both that we like for our first son 😅 Sooo hope our second baby will be girl haha

The most unique I've heard is a boy named Bervic or Bervick. It is possibly a variation of Berwick, but I haven't been able to track down the meaning or origin. I don't ever see it on name lists.
Oh wow, it does seem totally an invented name. Berwick means corn field which is quite nice, maybe they pronounce their w like a v - my husband does a lot! x

The interchangeable v and w sound hadn't occured to me. Maybe that is it. It was definately a v sound.
Another unique name that now comes to mind is Brimson (the mom says she made it up).
I loveeee Heath but it's one of my best friends' last names so it would be weird for me to name a baby that 😂 and also my husband's/ baby's last name is English so I feel like we kind of need to avoid a second noun in the name (especially when the name gets reversed like in a school class list and it would show up as "English, Heath" and would make me think of a place instead of a person haha.
Obsessed with Evander but we have an Everett so maybe we'll use Anders someday as well!

cute! Barnaby and Rafferty have good nickname options. It's tough to shorten Percy for nickname. Short names don't need a nickname if the original is already cute. @@pippatyce5824
Mossy is a very common nickname in Ireland for boys called Tomás (Tuh-moss)
I had a cousin Mershon. I think it was a surname, but I'm not sure. He went by "Shon" I also once knew "Mace". That was a family name, but I always thought of the spice. Not necessarily a bad thing. 🙂
Edwin (Edd or Eddie ❤I love so much this nickname ) and Cosmo on my list . Love it, but husband don't like Cosmo as much as i do. But now I really like Casimir,and husband like it too. He have Cassandra as a sister and her short name in Cass or Cassie. Sooooo I thought Mir as a short version for Casimir can work out.
Cale is my son’s. There is an Irish spelling of Cale but I can’t remember how it’s spelled. Family names, Findley, Evan, River, Aubrey. Unique names Tripp, Breck, Noah, Kit, Track, Trig, Blaise

We’re talking about trying for our second, our elder daughter is Cyanna we call her Cy. My favourite boys name is Makaio, so we’d have Cy & Kai! 🤭
