    One of the hardest things about being genuine on the internet, in front of an audience of over 799k people, is that there are inevitably people who have nothing better to do than tear you down. That being said, those people are vastly outnumbered by those of us that appreciate what you're doing. Keep up the good work Dewayne!

    Amen Brother! I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior 7 weeks and 1 day ago actually (the same amount of time I have been sober from weed and porn), and my new life in Christ has not been easy, but it is worth it. I just finished reading my Bible, made my self dinner, and sat down to watch this video. What you said about not needing your wife is so true and it goes both ways. Years ago I got that revelation after about three years of marriage and suffering a roller coaster of disappointments. I thought my husband would be as thrilled as I was, but it took awhile for him to understand how freeing that was for me. We laugh about it now! Next summer is our 50th anniversary.
    I also want to thank you for that last horse video: “Facing Pressure vs Escaping Pressure.” You have no idea how helpful these videos can be! I was starting physical therapy to help with a brain injury when I saw that video. It depicted perfectly the approach I needed to take to nudge my brain to accept the challenge. Same. Took me a few years but read the Bible cover to cover and there certainly is wisdom to be had within the scriptures. There are also some evil bits that no moral person should follow. And of course, zero evidence any of it came from anywhere else besides the minds of men.

    • @JoyOfTheLORD.
      @JoyOfTheLORD. 9 місяців тому

      @@AD-dw6cb There is plenty of evidence if you truly think about it. These people were inspired by the Holy Spirit to write scripture and historic events during their time. We should also take into account that these books and manuscripts were written CENTURIES APART in different locations on the earth and by individuals who had no knowledge of each other with perfect cross references to each book. Multiple prophecies in the Bible have come to pass and history has actually repeated itself a couple times, most of which line up with scripture. It’s been proven scientifically that Jesus Christ did walk among us as well. There are just too many things that prove it too be true and that’s not even counting all the testimonies people have had with God. Now im not here to tell you you’re wrong but i will tell you this, dig a bit deeper and keep searching. The truth is out there and the fact you saw this video isnt a coincidence. Jesus loves you and He’s leading you to Him.
      1 Corinthians 2:14 NIV
      “The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.”

    👍 There are times where certain things must be said and positions enforced and I appreciate Dewayne coming to say it in a calm yet clear and concise manner. Nobody Ive ever met wanted to be chased by religious folk or had their personal faith put under a microscope because that really isn't anyone's buisness. For all the talk and money I grew up watching go to the "charity" sure didn't see many families and communities grow. One reason this channel drew me in was the very grounded strong sense of family.

    Hey Dewayne I love your straight forward wisdom and honesty I have been flowing your channel for a long time now, Your cowboy wisdom sounds like the cowboy wisdom that I had growing up in South Dakota. I spent 20+ in the Army as a (13B)Cannon crew member/Section Chef (13B38) in the Field Artillery, field means far away from any thing churches too. We would spend weeks at a time in the field training, but you know what brother that's were I was always was closes to the Lord. I did three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan nothing gets you close to God like a rocket attack Howitzer's are a big priority target to the enemy. Churches can be loud but the woods and open places is were God meets us and talks to us. God bless you and your dear wife.

    Thank you for your videos. When people try to put in effort to bring others down, it says more about where they are at in life and how they feel in their own bodies. Genuine good people without an agenda or anything to prove don’t waste time leaving nasty or stupid comments. If I don’t vibe with you, I move on to focusing on something that I vibe with and enriches my experience. Judging a persons work instead of giving constructive criticism is the equivalent to saying “My own life is crap. But let me focus on you because I feel better when I bring you down.” If reading my comment stirs up anxiety in you, then I’m talking to you.

      if you put the same energy into reading the bible you would read how jesus said you cannot worship him at the altar. being christian is not something you brag about. read the fucking book. all prayers are made up by the church. apart from lord's prayer, which isn't a prayer in fact, none of them are in the bible. catholics worship the mother of jesus, not jesus himself. their bible is catechism, not the bible itself. i could list things all day. if you get it, you get it. if you don't, you never will.

      @thehightide2559 ? According to you I'm not at Peace with my soul. Interesting opinion and analysis from a stranger who is sitting on his high horse claiming he or they? is at Peace with their soul and claims that they have the authority to determine and analyze who isn't and who can talk to people and who can't . I feel so much offended.
      So anyone who pleads others to come unto Jesus our Savior is not at peace with their soul and is not qualified to talk to others. Thanks Satan but that's just like your opinion dude.

      Do I wish you peace? Why of course, everyone deserves to be to be happy

    • @thehightide2559
      @thehightide2559 8 місяців тому +3

      @@Eli1993. I don't even want to have beliefs because of what they have done over human history and it's easy to see... they bias us and we are biased in choosing them... the beliefs, systems, ideas etc.
      Not everyone can completely become one belief and explore it all he needs to become nothing again and try out the next. Whether you actually switch religions or you can do it right now, in your head. It's enabled by being human, and you can believe one thing then another in the same minute.
      Personally, I think there is some kind of force or god, but I am happy and content with what being human brings... we are all connected and if we remove from ourselves the things we consider distinct, we see the picture... we are alike and we can relate, no matter the culture, religion, ideas, world view etc.
      life is so vast which makes you think is it god or just life's vastness that creates special moments and coincidences, or is it both?
