- There are some very dangerous trends in the world today, especially in the world of advising and helping young people find their way. One of the most deceptive and dangerous trends in my opinion is Andrew Tate, and the worldview that he is spouses and puts out very vigorously. I do not use this channel to attack people, that’s not my heart, and it has never been my way. But it is my heart to warn young people of dangers and traps and to point out the truth. That’s what I’m doing in this video.

I would't call that inteligent, but wise! Not saying that he is not inteligent, wich I do think is a somwhat inteligent idividual, but as a soft tongue to speak wise words heavly woven with truth!
The problem with the cowboys logic is that he fails to address the core issue. The real question is why are so many young men drawn to figures like Andrew Tate and Jordan Peterson? It's because our culture lacks traditional masculine roles and young men have a biological desire to be strong and dangerous. While I can grant you that Tate isn't the best role model for young men, we should be focusing on finding better role models rather than criticizing the ones we have. Because without young men's interest in these type of men you wouldn't even be talking about this issue. It's the same thing with Trump. Rather than criticize Trump we should ask ourselves why he has support. Because like I've previously stated we wouldn't even be talking about any of these people if they didn't garner such attention. This cycle will never end. There will always be a new Tate on the horizon

I wasn't expecting such a big shift in story. "If you're not rich, you're either a fool or lazy. Only a fool would say that." A point a view people need to understand and see. Absolutely an amazing video.
Not only is it foolish from an ethical standpoint (the least lazy people I’ve ever met are also some of the poorest). It’s also just plain stupid on an economic level. Everyone can’t be rich, every hardworking, intelligent man with good values CAN’T be rich. Last but not least, Jesus said "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of heaven! Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven." And It might shock you but I trust and believe in what Jesus says more than Andrew Tate. 😂

It’s good to learn but no one has it all figured out. Plus there are a lot of people that are puppets to those who want us dumb and controlled.
I work harder than anyone I know and I'm still poor. i just don't have the intelligence and opportunities to become rich. I hate hearing rich UA-camrs yell, "If I can do it, you can do it". I just want yell back and fuse them out. If I could do it I would have done it already.
Many years ago my boss told me that the loudest, most arrogant person in the room generally knows the least about the subject being discussed. He told me this right before a meeting with a difficult customer. He also advised me to resist the urge to try to argue with that person just because you know that they are wrong. They have mastered the art of being full of bull.

My mother, the malignant narcissist is genuinely the stupidest person I've ever known. A lot of smh moments at the dumb things she says, tells herself is true then dumps on people as if we should all be in awe of the weight of her knowledge and wisdom. I laugh at her a lot. 😂😂

I don't work for him anymore. He has sold the company and retired to the country. He is a millionaire several times over, but he's not flashy. The last time I saw him, he drove a plain white Ford heavy-duty work truck and was wearing farmer's overalls. He did finally splurge on some decent hearing aids, but I don't think they cost as much as a Bugatti.
More young men need to see this. Dwayne is a perfect example of the kind of man this world needs. Thank you for what you do!

My grandfather fought in WW2 against the Japanese. He once told me that they met up with some Gurkhas to defend a position who were all small in stature, very quiet and very softly spoken.
But he told me that when it came time to fight they were devastating to the enemy as well as absolutely fearless.
He finished up with ‘the quietest man is the best friend you will ever have when times are tough’

I was in the British Army and when I was overseas, some Gurkhas were over there with us.
A battalion from the Royal Irish Regiment got sent over to us and on the first night they got drunk, knocked on everyone’s door and anyone who answered got beat up by them.
They ended up doing it to a Gurkha who immediately let his friends know what happened on their WhatsApp group. Straight away they came out and gave the guys from the Irish regiment a beating, badly. The Gurkhas look after their own and are nice people until you try to fuck with them lmao
My grandfather fought the Japanese's as a US Marine and he never spoke about the war with pride. He hardly spoke about it at all. He said he just did his job.

This is so true! The only thing my father was good for was showing me at such a young age how horrible and cruel humans could be.
However, I have my grandfather who was very much a father figure to me.
This man, (my grandfather) is the closest thing to Jesus Christ than anyone I’ve ever meet. The true unconditional love I see him have for complete strangers is awe inspiring. What is inspiring to me is that my grandfather spent 5 years in a prison camp during ww2. He experienced so much pain, so much suffering. Losing almost everything, and everyone. Through all of that, he persevered. Not only ending up being a father figure for myself but a role model for many others.
When i think of all of that when compared to my father. How both men approached live so differently, even if it was the same task. I am truly thankful that I had him as a surrogate father figure. (Especially now that I’m an adult) Because, I think I would have turned out very differently.
This is why your important Dewayne! Like all men with absent fathers, we collect our father figures and subconsciously build a father figure from them all. While my grandfather is a father figure he isn’t the only one. So thanks Dewayne! You mean a lot!

It reminds me of the life advice my folks in south-Texas would give that was always so soothing, though gritty and real that will check you back into reality. Keep up the good work.
This is the gods honest truth. I’ve been in the military for almost a decade and I used to think I was so tough. But after being in for so long I’ve met some of the toughest humans on the planet. Green berets, army rangers, all different types of operators. And nearly every single one is soft spoken, they don’t show off, they are quiet and usually dress like they are going to church. They like to spend time with their families and usually drive something that’s good on gas.
Toughness is good. Strength is great. Toughness can endure severe conditions, and also toughness can be brittle, and, occasionally, crack under pressure. Strength endures. Strength gets us up every morning, and strength provides for and protects families and communities. Strength of mind allows us to see through charlatans, and keeps us on the right path.

I took a young man into my shop this summer because he wanted to learn to weld aluminum, I have a welding and machine shop service I've run for some thirty years. He sat down at my welding table, watched me run beads for about ten minutes, and then burned about eight hours up with me critiquing his hand, technique and foot/heat control. I've had many people come up wanting to learn to weld, but few have the patience to sit down and make mistakes until they lay a good bead, hear the sound of the arc, see the smoke rise steady and recognize what a good weld sounds like.. You got to be quiet, able to listen, to actually learn and grow. It's been more than fifty years since an older man sat me down and told me "now just lay a bead there, it'll sound like bacon and eggs frying when you're getting it right".
Another quality is recognizing patience in someone else. I also really like bacon and eggs. I also hope to learn welding some day.

We got a feller that lived up the holler from us in West Virginia I always looked up to. He was an absolute genius. He could make any vehicle run, was an electrician and could fix any hvac system. Drawed disability from the mines from the ceiling falling in breaking his back. Was poor as a church mouse but never charged a dime. Our heat went out 2am Christmas Eve one year 11 degrees outside. He was there by 2:15 and gone by 3 with a warm house. That’s who I look up to.

At 42, the most difficult issue I've yet to encounter is the loudness of external influence in the direction of my children. I'm outnumbered but it's necessary to keep it moving. Great talk, man. I appreciate it and can relate.
I don't have kids yet, but I put myself in your shoes in my mind and imagine what it must be like and it terrifies me. The beauty of the internet is that it has given a voice to many people who, 40 years ago, would have been voiceless - but have so much to teach us. People like Dwayne. The danger of the internet is that it also gives a voice to many people who are an absolute danger to our children and our society. It's hard to say if the good truly outweighs the bad.

The story about a hardworking poor dad really caught me off-guard emotionally because it's painfully true, and for those poor dads that sacrificed their lives for us just to be cast in the shadows so that showoffs like Tate can be our role model shows you how much we fell off as a society.

I don’t think we necessarily fell off. Life works in cycles. These types of men have always existed and tend to always take the credit while the true great ones tend to go under the radar and get their glory later. Sometimes never.

I'm Mexican, and I have lots of strong men in my family who've spent their lives fostering beautiful families. They've worked so hard to give their loved ones the best life they can foster, and people like Tate calling these men "fools" is an insult. Being rich doesn't change who you are, what you stand for, what your priorities are. Many young men are rich; all they do is party and take drugs, rather than make the world around them a better place. These truly strong men that I've known my whole life put their families and well-being over money because money will never make you truly happy unless you create a strong relationship with the people who love you.

I've been watching you for 6 months now. I'm still that guy from Detroit. I became a bus driver since i watched you last. The last time i watched you, i was working at a factory. I was highly depressed and felt broken. You told me i could make a better life for myself if i tried. I did try and passed my trained top 3 in my class. I went through probation and now I'm a full time bus driver. I never knew i could do that and find a better job. I found a career. It's high stress but not like what i came from. That's how it used to be. "Respect your elders" was something my generation grew up with. And we would sit around and listen to their stories and words of wisdom so that it might guide us in the future. But I think with the prevalence of computers and social media things have changed so drastically that old school wisdom has been deemed obsolete and irrelevant, and there is no longer a need to respect our elders because what do they have to offer us anymore? It sucks for the young generation who misses out on fundamental advice that will save them from grief in the long run and it sucks even more for the older generation who has to rely on the young people who hate and resent them for no wrong doing of their own. It's a bleak future by the way things are going.

I am 64 years old. I have no idea who this Tate fellow is. What I can say is, I can resonate with the things you say. Keep it up. You are a man who exposes the wisdom seldom found in this world.
I’m a 35 yr old homeschooling momma, so maybe not your target demographic, but I have a boy so I am always looking down the road and looking for how to shape his character to be a good man. So I love these videos.
My daddy is that quiet man. Never went to the gym, was at work already when I woke up as a child, had a coffee cup permanently attached to his hand. No alcohol, drugs, or Tabasco ever entered our home. Momma was strict, and when we would rise against her, daddy would set his newspaper down and end it with a few words. He never did and still doesn’t talk much, but his words have authority. I’ve seen him cry four times in my life: the day his mom died, the day my mom was diagnosed with cancer, when he ran over my 16 yr old beagle, and the day he had to shoot a calf that had been born in a blizzard and had frostbite so bad it was sickening to look at. My husband admires him to no end and has put him on level with his own father for advice in many situations. And having a daddy like that helps a girl know who to look for in a husband. Mine isn’t the biggest guy in the room and he likes a good conversation more than most, but he certainly ain’t the loudest. We pray every day our boy follows the men in our family and not the Andrew Tates of the world.
I just clicked on this video by accident. What a happy accident. I never heard of Andrew until he was arrested. It caught my attention, so I watched some videos. There was something attractive about this man. Yet it felt like something was deeply off. For that, in my mind, he is in the same category as people like Jordan Peterson and even Elon Mush.... and even politicians like Trump and Biden... Bush and Obama...
I think the idea of wrapping bullshit in bacon(everybody agrees bacon is good), is one of the biggest problems on earth.

This is the wisdom we all need. As a 22 year old guy, Life feels surreal to me these days. Social Media has made us slaves to the opinions of others and we all try to live up to someone else's standards. Its a recipe for an empty, miserable life.
Put the phone away buddy
It's not just social media. Question everything, talk to many and put your puzzle together for yourself.
Don't be afraid to listen to people with opposing opinions. Ask questions and learn why they believe what they believe. This doesn't mean you have to change your opinion, but you should be prepared to explain your position, also. If you can't articulate your opinion, more research is required.
Sounds like you are on the right track.
The best thing you could do right now is dump all social media. It's rotten.

The best Alpha dog I've ever had was one that - no matter how many dogs barked at him on our 3 walks a day - he remained silent. Within himself, he had the ability to unleash an incredible amount of energy, but chose not to. My Belgian Malinois walks quietly with confidence. He has the ability to Protect with every ounce of his energy, but chooses to keep it ready, quietly, and can unleash it, but the Alpha in him chooses not to. He knows what he is capable of without expressing it every day.
I also had a dog like this. He had some Malinois genetics, but not pure race. Very quiet, but very dengerous. When he was only 3 months old, just a kid, attacked 2 people who subestimeted him. I warned them: dont get too close, but they ignored, thinking that the dog was quiet, 3 months kid and cute.
I just realized my dog does the same thing. He never barks back. He was attacked once out of nowhere, and he jumped right in front of me and fought fiercely. But still to this day he remains silent on our walks. I have another dog who I adopted later in her life. She’s been through a lot, and she is very afraid and insecure. She tugs and lunges and barks at every animal we pass. It really is insecurity coming out. True power doesn’t need to shout

A good friend of mine is exactly as Dewayne describes. I'd known Steve for about 12 years before i learned how learned he is. He grew up on a cattle farm, (his mom is still on that farm), and he loved cattle so much, he went to school to learn more. When he sold his farm about 8 years ago to take a government research job in New Zealand, he sold off his flock, some of which were decendants of the cow he had as a teenager in the 4H.
Before they went to NZ, i googled his name, and learned he is a doctor of beef cattle genetics, with mountains od accolades. After about 3 years, he moved to Missouri and took the position as head of genetics at Black Angus.
What i love most about Steve, is that while he was VERY respected in a very specialized field, he was a farmer at heart, and everyone was an equal. He would NEVER tell about how successful he was in his field.
I keep finding myself wanting to say, "preach!" Throughout this video. Lol! So glad my husband is not the loudest man in the room. He is a quiet man when it comes to his capabilities. Always ready to learn, and admit what he doesn't know. I just get more excited the longer we're married to see the man he'll continue to grow into. ❤

Firstly, thank you Dwayne for using the internet to spread your folk wisdom. I completely agree with you, I grew up in a rural area surrounded by people of the "old school" who were honest, hardworking, but also sensitive and uncompromising when it came to deceit and injustice. I'm not an American, I'm from Serbia, but I believe that all of us who grew up in rural areas around the world, surrounded by animals, nature, and the strong character of our families, share a similar way of thinking and a common code, which is often considered conservative.

The problem with the cowboys logic is that he fails to address the core issue. The real question is why are so many young men drawn to figures like Andrew Tate and Jordan Peterson? It's because our culture lacks traditional masculine roles and young men have a biological desire to be strong and dangerous. While I can grant you that Tate isn't the best role model for young men, we should be focusing on finding better role models rather than criticizing the ones we have. Because without young men's interest in these type of men you wouldn't even be talking about this issue. It's the same thing with Trump. Rather than criticize Trump we should ask ourselves why he has support. Because like I've previously stated we wouldn't even be talking about any of these people if they didn't garner such attention. This cycle will never end. There will always be a new Tate on the horizon

Never look for attention, validation nor change your baseline or lower your standards to make people like you or to become ‘popular’. Do your thing with the utmost personal growth focus, integrity and elegance. Learn to listen, to observate and to ‘feel’ into your surroundings, always open-minded but never naive. Learn about basic human psychology, psychopathic and sociopathic traits and how to spot manipulators, dangerous people, mentally disturbed people (I mean cluster b type). And learn to not defend yourself but walk away, never take the bate.

Dennis is legitimately the spitting image of my friend named Joseph. He was raised in the Mennonite church but left and is now just a normal Christian; he is the quietest and most soft-spoken person I've ever met; he does not smoke, chew, or drink; and he is the most adversely talented man I know in terms of bushcraft. I can verify that he is 100% the type of man you would want as a friend. My grandfather was this way as well. Sadly, he passed away four years ago.

Same, growing up I've always been called lier cause I got some stuff wrong(turns out I needed glasses lol) and I've always struved to tell the truth and own up to my mistakes even if it gets me trouble. It cost me one job, and earned the trust of my coworkers in my current job. If I don't know something, I find someone who dies and direct people to best person most likely to have their answer.

Don't give up, you're halfway there. If you question if there is a God or not, go deep into the woods, or far out into the sea, or high onto a mountain, stay there a few days by yourself and observe and ponder all that goes on, you'll start to understand. There is a God!
Hello Dewayne. I just discovered your channel and I've really enjoyed it. I'm 61 and was divorced for this first time last January, a bit lonely at the moment, and found your videos very inspiring. You don't need to give just the young guys advice. Us old farts need it too. I grew up as a Mennonite and am no longer religious but other than some of those aspects I agree with pretty much everything you've said. I'm afraid I got into a bit of a binge tonight watching your videos but have really enjoyed them. Just found your channel I never even knew who rate was until you brought him up, imo there’s 1 of him in every job scene if you’re working for someone else. The corporate machine is all about bonuses and raises and how much money THEY make, meanwhile the employees that actually do all the work and sale the product or whatever it is they do make small fry.. this has been going on forever but increasingly so after the pandemic. Worlds an unjust and unfair place these days.

The only thing my father was good for was showing me at such a young age how horrible and cruel humans could be.
However, I have my grandfather who was very much a father figure to me.
This man, (my grandfather) is the closest thing to Jesus Christ than anyone I’ve ever meet. The true unconditional love I see him have for complete strangers is awe inspiring. What is inspiring to me is that my grandfather spent 5 years in a prison camp during ww2. He experienced so much pain, so much suffering. Losing almost everything, and everyone. Through all of that, he persevered. Not only ending up being a father figure for myself but a role model for many others.
When i think of all of that when compared to my father. How both men approached live so differently, even if it was the same task. I am truly thankful that I had him as a surrogate father figure. (Especially now that I’m an adult) Because, I think I would have turned out very differently.
This is why your important Dewayne! Like all men with absent fathers, we collect our father figures and build subconsciously a father figure from them all. While my grandfather is a father figure he isn’t the only one. So thanks Dewayne! You mean a lot to a lot of people!
As a 27 year old guy planning on becoming an electricians apprentice this year, this is what I needed. I needed to hear a man who is older than me who has wisdom and knowledge confirm what I thought to be true about wealth and insecurity. The media and the internet will have men believe that money is the only goal in life, I have never felt this way. I couldn't care less about how much money someone has. We've all been led down a weird path where somehow what matters most is now considered an afterthought. I wish more men were like you, us young guys desperately need men like you to help guide us and give us advice.

Thanks Dwayne . I lost my brother this last march and he was like a father /mentor to me . I discovered Dwayne a couple weeks after and it’s been the only thing getting me through being 20 years working seven days a weeks trying to make something of us myself
This is my absolute favourite video by far. You just said what has needed to be said for a long time. The fact that this guy is a perceived idol for so many is a testament to the dark times we're living in. It shows how lost some young people have become. If that were not the case, a man like Tate would never have been able to become so popular. Thank you Dwayne.

Thanks for sharing this Dwayne. Tate has always struck me as a guy who is right about things that are wrong, but he’s way off the mark on what is actually right. Tate isn’t an example to follow. By his own admission he seems like he has hurt and bitterness from his father and he’s used money and possessions to create a tough persona and gather people around him. Deep down he’s still a hurt little boy.

I used to look up to Tate entirely too much. Last week I realized that my tone of voice and word choice were misunderstood by a lot of women and a few men. So I changed. I don't want people to think I'm some careless, crass man. After learning just that lesson alone, coming back and listening to Tate made me realize exactly what you're talking about. He's just not as well rounded as I thought. Thanks for the video man.
Same here, for me it was over the course of a few months I just realized what he says doesn't line up with what he does. He said if something happened that him and his crew decided that they were going to go out in a blaze of glory then walks out in cuffs. He claims to be Christian when in a predominantly Christian country and Muslim when it is more beneficial for him to be Muslim. The guy is a con artist. He learned most of his skills pimping women and learning about psychological control and now instead of pimping women he pimps out his followers for 50 bucks a month. Now me personally I have always achieved things on my own I may not have a lot but what I have, I earned myself and I sure as heck don't need someone to save me. If success is meant for me it will come in due time.

Same here. Tate rolled around when I was at the lowest point in my life and he more or less became a beacon. I didn’t follow everything he said but a certain amount of what he preaches does hold truth. However, the more time goes on I think what issues he points out is still true but some of his methods of resolving isn’t the most effective or desirable. In a strange sense I still somewhat respect him for how much he has achieved (although terrible in some cases) and think a few qualities of his are great its just muddied with unpleasant attributes.
He’s an opportunist with a brand. A salesman. He’s selling answers and a life coaching program to young men who don’t have answers or who are trying find their path. It’s a shame people are fooled by him. Good on you for the self reflection and finding a better way.
I've never ever looked up to any internet influencer, but he does also speak truth from time to time. Yes he's arrogant, yes he's probably insecure deep down, but he also drops some truth bombs.
