I would suggest do fractals if you have t4 unlocked. Daily and Recs. You get ascendant gear frequently and those fractal chest net me anywhere from 10-15g in one run. Takes 1 hour at most.
This is amazing. I played 4 years ago and mostly did base storyline and World vs World. I got a huge gold boost from getting a legendary accessory (can’t remember if it was a trinket or necklace) from a WvW chest that bumped me to 1,000 gold. I’m gonna add this to a few things that help me stay around the game

Hey, Muk! I somehow missed this video, but was linked it in the stream. Good vid as always, very informative, especially the alt spots! The only small bit of productive criticism I want to offer is this: At some point somewhere there should have been a disclaimer about the Home Instance, Guild Hall and gathering in general. In order for this exact routine to be as low effort and rewarding at it is for you, a great deal of effort and recourses had hot have been invested beforehand. Building up Home instance and Guild Halls ain't cheap. It costs quite a bit of gold and materials and even gems for some BLC additions. Of course, you can join someone else' home or guild that is already build up, but in my opinion it is still important to note the investment. Hell, just the Volatile Gathering tools alone are about 30€ in gems or over 500 gold for 1 glyph on the TP, and that's where a substantial amount of that VM is coming from. So to me the "Making Gold with Low Effort" title seems just a tad misleading since you *had* put a lot of effort and recourses to built it all up over time so that *now* you can do this routine quick and easy. I'm not trying to say Mukluk is lying to people just to be crystal clear for anyone reading this (cause the internet loooves to misinterpret any input as a personal attack, which this is not), but a little disclaimer would have been nice.
Regarding the Sanctum of Nabkha parking place... you need to have the Jackal and shifting sands mastery OR springer plus griffon/skyscale in order to reach it. I lost 1+ hour to understand that. Good video, but next time you should at least mention in case there are some requirements.
@@MuklukUA-cam You really do great content, not just Guild Wars 2 related. I haven't noticed your sub count, I expected it to be higher. Maybe there are not enough people watching GW2 in general.
Verdant brink meta, you only need to kill one boss to get decent reward, middle wyvern takes a minute to kill if cc'd properly, i'd suggest adding it to this list. also confetti(infusion) pinata spawns directly after this in amnoon so its a quick 2 bosses in a few minutes
Hi, nice guide you have there. but how long or how much a new / returning player have to invest to set up those base farms like you did ? Thanks for the advise.
To make your own home instance would take a lot of time, but you can enter other peoples home instance if you don't wish to do that. Go to any capital city, ask in chat if you can join someones home, you group together, they enter first and you will get a popup asking if you want to join them.
Great and interesting video as always^^ My daily Routine is a bit longer. I do Pinata, chak, tarir, homeinstance, guildhall, 3passiflora farm (easy 1.5gold), alts, pact supply, and the 2 gold daily achiev. Also doing fractals and strikes If i have time, but its more like every 3 days
I'm probably missing something but how do you make 1,5g/a day from passiflora? They are really cheap, like 10 coppers or something. I usually farm the flax nodes from Verdant and Draconis.
@@Kristynne. its actually the blooming passiflora you can harvest. Its worth like 30-40 silver but you can only harvest 3 per day. (also if you got an harvesting tool with like 33% chance to get more use that ^^)
@@kalydon2826 Nice! Unfortunately, I only have the mining tool with the extra chance, bought it a while ago before getting the set with volatile magic. Anyway, thanks for the tip! ^^
should do pact mapping, gives you 6 mappings/day and 40 of them can give you around 20g(shinning bubbles) or 44 t6 mats. collected them for a moth(waited for week 2 for t6 blood) got around 198 of them. for literally teleporting to 6 waypoints and buying stuff with karma that cost 2k ea. cheapest and fastest long-term gold
Ok, that's actually misleading, because you're paying them with karma, and for 40=> 20gold that means 40 teleport, or around 2-4 golds depending on distance. And karma isn't free, there's a lot of ways to turn it into gold, so this is still the most profitable one, but you need to do it daily, and have the karma ready, that's why it's not as awesome as it feels
Man, understanding how to make money in GW2 is daunting because it's not the regular "you get money for completing things" it's more of the materials that you should sell. New player here and honestly I just want money to get the griffon XD. Once I have the griffon it's back to playing the game at my slow pace :D
oh shut up, you're here now to say that so people dont think you copied this channel and its also a soft promote to your next video. love how you got caught with your rigged "giveaways" so now you have to work harder to really give out "prizes" to people.
As someone whose just returned to the game, gotten level 80, and just finished maxing out Firebrand hero point wise, what should I be focused on doing? Finishing HoT and PoF? Grinding my vanilla mastery for auto loot? Getting my crafting up and working on ascended gearing? Theres so many things to do in this game that I find myself wondering what I should be focusing on.
You should trade your ices in for anything BUT Kralk Ore or Mistborne Motes, you get more Volatile Magic. Those are two of the lowest possible pulls. =)
I have over 2500h in GW2. I was always wondering why i stopped playing and returned to GW1. Even though Gw2 is beautiful I think this type of gameplay just isnt mine. In comparison in GW 1 you dont have that kind of dailiy routine. You can do a lot of profitable stuff, none of which will just consist of pressing F and sorting the loot or just running with a zerg and then press F. In Gw 1 you haveto think about your builds, your hero/team comp, your cooldowns and the enemy patrol paths for almost any task. In my opinion it is just more engaging. Do you have any Routine more than Fractals and strikes that is a bit more demanding ? I would love to play GW2 with fun again. Greetings and none the less thx for the vid ;D
The amount of unidentified items (aka item i dont understand and known the function, purpose, etc yet) is far beyond limit. New player, gotta learn more XD
as a brand new player coming into this game, everything is so overwhelming an i feel like i never know what to do or what i should prioritise. its a fun game but i dont know if i will stick with it
Do your dailies :) you will press h and go to the achievement tab and click on daily if you do three of those a day you will get 2 gold :) and ALWAYS do the mystic forge daily you get a free mystic coin :)
Can anyone explain why Mount Maelstorm's Hidden Garden is the #1 recommended spot for parking an alt? I just saw a video on how to get there and the chest at the end doesn't seem to great.
For the red and green large bjora chests, there is a medium chest very close by. Would be worth the extra 10 or 15 seca to grab them. You can also park an alt at the 3 small chests in asegirs legacy, that spot is safe from the storm. And you can hop on that alt later when the meta is completed and grab more chests.
It's worth it, but I despise that it doesn't have a "use all" button. I used to do it then realised I had to "double click" 400 times. Never again for me.
Hi, nice Video! Just one thing i don't quite get, mainly because i am not very familiar with all of the new content, since i'm a returning player, is the part with the full 32 slot bags? @@EinfachLuap OH wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Reinforced_Boreal_Trunk You have to unlock the recipe with a collection, then most of the components can be obtained from strikes.
Would a new level 80 be able to do the strikes? I'm 80 and do the dailies. After that kinda lost on where to start to start getting geared. I did see the karma vendor for exotics as well
I would get comfortable with dungeons and fractals before strikes. Check out the page "how to gear a character" on metabattle for a super comprehensive guide on getting gear.
@@DoinkertonGreeble thank you for the info. I'm pretty much exotic other than the trinkets which I'm farming berries for. I do have to start those dungeons
I agree, the volatile magic glyphs are the best. You can buy leather shipments from volatile magic vendors, refine it and sell it for a really nice amount of gold. I usually wait until I have like 17-18k of volatile and then buy the shipments. And I'm making like 70-80g profit a week. But I am doing a lot of gathering (flax, home, guild hall etc).
Its so overwhelming as a new player. I need to just focus on finishing all the story so I have the maps open. Ill start from there and hut the strikes as soon as I log in every day for my first year I think while I build up my home and try and find active guilds
great video, this is what i need, a kind of roadmap that i can follow daily. 'cause i really don't see myself sitting in one map farming some item over and over again. it doesn't seem very profitable, per hour i mean. correct me if my math is wrong here: IF instead of spending 1 hour in game, i spend 1 Extra hour at work. At minimum wage (or 2 hours if you live in US), that's about$10-12 and can pay for about 800-1000 gems, that gets me something like 150-200 gold in game. AND i support arenanet by giving them money. isn't that more efficient than people doing gold farming in game? i don't think any in game gold farming can get you 200 gold per hour. unless it's trading post. am i doing the math right?
In terms of time investment, that's definitely the most profitable way, unless you're sitting on huge amounts of gold to do TP flipping or craft highly desired items and sell them in groups without the TP fees. There certainly are ways to get enough gold to farm a legendary or whatever endgame goal you have just by playing the game, but it's gonna be a long tedious process. After I crafted my first legendary I felt like the game lost all its appeal to me. The only things that keep me playing are the 2g from easy dailies and some wvw here and there. But wvw is the least rewarding option for gold making.
Wait, how did you get the 32 slot bags with shards and Eitrite? I thought you needed superior runes of holding which you can only get from ecto gambling?
You will need the runes for any 32 slot bag recipe, but for this recipe the "other" materials are eitrite/eternal ice which is much cheaper than many of the other 32 slot bag recipe options. wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Reinforced_Boreal_Trunk
@@MuklukUA-cam I think the day I get enough gold to consider ecto gambling the other materials are least of my concerns :P but thanks for the response!
Played since launch with a huge break between HoT and PoF. But finished both extension, I have all class 80. And never got more than 40g. I'm struggling hard to get at least one ascended full set. I'm solo player. No guild and no close friends playing the game. This routine maybe will help thx
I still do the home farm, guild hall farm, and alt parking daily, and still get lots of near passive income from doing it. Currently over 8,000 gold from those habits, I don't farm anywhere else.
Once you get the recipe for reinforced boreal trunk, one of the primary ingredients is eternal ice shards. So you can use those and eitrite to help make a bunch, along with some other stuff.
Under 2,500 gold for a player like you sounds incredibly low, unless you converted shitloads to gems. There are many, for me, unexpected things that can give you lots of gold. An example: At a low level, shortly after starting playing recently, I got 2 Prismatic Dyes from chests I believe I got when ordering expansions/DLCs (not entirely sure). And since you only need one to unlock that, I decided to check the trader. Sold the other one for 103 gold. New players: Always check trader to see if something is worth anything, if you're not sure. Just rightclick a non-bound item and select the sell option, and you'll see the prices. This can be done from anywhere in the world. It's done in a few seconds.
There are 2 sources for 32 slot bags - one is from season 4, and another is from icebrood saga. You can buy season 4 starting recipe on TP - [&AgHQSgEA], thats for 24 slot bags, and next steps are discovery. Keep in mind that bags for 24+ slots arent cheap and can cost up to 200 gold per bag. I would not recommend going for them right now, it only made sense before because loot was not stackable in uni gear bags like today. There are also collections that reward 32 slot bags, one is for illuminated boreal weapons from icebrood saga, another is from Sandswept Isles collection "Lasting Bonds", it unlocks after finishing story there.
After doing the icebrood saga weapon collection you can craft restored boreal trunks (32 slots) with eitrite and ice shards, and you get tons of those from strikes. That's how I got all mine.
The 32 slot trunk I mentioned was wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Reinforced_Boreal_Trunk . The recipe to make it is a reward from wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Master_of_the_Ancestral_Forge

You know what I have to say about this video? Nothing. But the UA-cam algorithm doesn't need to know that.. ;)
Regarding the Sanctum of Nabkha parking place... you need to have the Jackal and shifting sands mastery OR springer plus griffon/skyscale in order to reach it. I lost 1+ hour to understand that. Good video, but next time you should at least mention in case there are some requirements.
Or 1 teleport to a friend from daily login rewards.
@@MuklukUA-cam Did the daily login reward changed? Because I never got a teleport-to-friend. Playing since august I think
I just noticed you only have 16k subs. That seems weird considering your content is topnotch. I always figured it would be at least 50k
Maybe someday 🤗
@@MuklukUA-cam You really do great content, not just Guild Wars 2 related. I haven't noticed your sub count, I expected it to be higher. Maybe there are not enough people watching GW2 in general.
Good stuff! Thanks for sharing! 👌
Nice, thanks for the guide.
This was very helpful. Thank you.
Great and interesting video as always^^
My daily Routine is a bit longer.
Solid method that anyone could start incorporating into their routine!! We love to see it. #HelpfulMuk
Can you give a priority list on the alt parking spots? I don't have as many as you and I'd love to know which of the many you mentioned to prioritize.
should do pact mapping, gives you 6 mappings/day and 40 of them can give you around 20g(shinning bubbles) or 44 t6 mats. collected them for a moth(waited for week 2 for t6 blood) got around 198 of them. for literally teleporting to 6 waypoints and buying stuff with karma that cost 2k ea. cheapest and fastest long-term gold
I did it once, and when I found out they didn't have a "consume all" button I vowed never again lol
The Pact Supply Lines give decent gold for minimal effort also.
Thanks for all your video I have been watching them since I came back a bout a week ago. Also could you tell me what your transmog is

Drop the long things (strikes, long treasure chest runs, maybe even home instance) and focus on the faster ones, and you should be good
Man, understanding how to make money in GW2 is daunting because it's not the regular "you get money for completing things" it's more of the materials that you should sell. New player here and honestly I just want money to get the griffon XD. Once I have the griffon it's back to playing the game at my slow pace :D
Thank you for the video 👍🏼

Everyone sell their investments!!!
oh shut up, you're here now to say that so people dont think you copied this channel and its also a soft promote to your next video.
love how you got caught with your rigged "giveaways" so now you have to work harder to really give out "prizes" to people.
@@Truthhurtz4u Salty you didn't win huh?
As someone whose just returned to the game, gotten level 80, and just finished maxing out Firebrand hero point wise, what should I be focused on doing? Finishing HoT and PoF? Grinding my vanilla mastery for auto loot? Getting my crafting up and working on ascended gearing? Theres so many things to do in this game that I find myself wondering what I should be focusing on.
You might find this one useful:
" Just hit level 80 Now what? mukluklabs.com/gw2-new-players-guides/#fresh80 "
You should trade your ices in for anything BUT Kralk Ore or Mistborne Motes, you get more Volatile Magic. Those are two of the lowest possible pulls. =)
are you gonna make an updated daily routine?
I have over 2500h in GW2. I was always wondering why i stopped playing and returned to GW1. Even though Gw2 is beautiful
I think this type of gameplay just isnt mine.
Just do one raid wing everyday :p
The amount of unidentified items (aka item i dont understand and known the function, purpose, etc yet) is far beyond limit. New player, gotta learn more XD
as a brand new player coming into this game, everything is so overwhelming an i feel like i never know what to do or what i should prioritise. its a fun game but i dont know if i will stick with it
How do you get started to make gold if you don't have any, plus new to game and don't understand much of what is going on?

Level 24 Norn Warrior. Just started so this is all WAY over my head. Got any advice for the new player on how to make money?
you dont need to worry about gold untill you hit level 80
Do your dailies :) you will press h and go to the achievement tab and click on daily if you do three of those a day you will get 2 gold :) and ALWAYS do the mystic forge daily you get a free mystic coin :)
That's what I like about this game, basically whatever you do you're rewarded...not like a certain game khm khm "Lost Ark".
Can anyone explain why Mount Maelstorm's Hidden Garden is the #1 recommended spot for parking an alt? I just saw a video on how to get there and the chest at the end doesn't seem to great.
I believe it has like 30 + plants to harvest, so if you have volatile magic gathering tools you get volatile magic 30+ times.
you need to have kudzu 3 collection finished to access the garden
Farm shiny baubles at Maguuma's Breach. Sell them to merchants
Ugghhh... thank you for the info
You can put an alt there? last time i tried that i got kicked out the moment I logged in to him.
@@nouse4name368 the spot with the 3 small chests is okay. It is indoors
@@justinian963 Oh, thru the portal, gotcha, thanks man
One very relevant thing to add. Do Dragonstorm daily!
Why Pact Crowbar? Exalted Key gives 1 guaranteed rare? I'm sure there's a good reason, I'm just trying to understand.
I get infinite aurillium from home instance/opening exalted chests, so I have endless exalted keys already. I usually choose the crowbar or machete.
Is the pact network supply agent not worth it? It only takes a couple minutes to complete.
I can't seem to find anything on the wiki about it, would love to have an explanation as to how that works cheers
I"m not sure I understand the question, but I do have a guide on inventory management and bags, maybe this will help? ua-cam.com/video/PswfSKO7qTE/v-deo.html
@@MuklukUA-cam You said you got full 32 slot bags through strikes and I don't get how you did that. Sorry for the weird explanation!
@@EinfachLuap OH wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Reinforced_Boreal_Trunk
You have to unlock the recipe with a collection, then most of the components can be obtained from strikes.
@@MuklukUA-cam Each bag must have cost you 80 gold then right? (Supreme Runes of Holding)
My Brain Hurts trying to learn what he just said on these video hahahahahhahaw
can you make a video about best glyp to uses for gathering and what are you using ty hope to be heard
Possibly, but for now I can tell you that I believe the most profitable one is volatile magic glyphs/tools
Perhaps an update, with the EoD stuff included?
Hey Muk! Has your routine changed much since EOD?
Nope. I have a single character parked at the old kaineng jumping puzzle chest now, but the rest is still as good as it was before.
So how much gold is this per day?
I can't find the Vendor you stop by at 5:52, did you have to buy him?
Useful.
Fractals give between 15 and 20 g at the same time
If you are geared up for tier 4 and are doing the dailies in an experienced group, yep. I mentioned that later in the video.
great video, this is what i need, a kind of roadmap that i can follow daily.
But wvw is the least rewarding option for gold making.
with the home instance is worth buy most of the nodes and if not which nodes should i stay away from
You forget pact supply and karmic converter and others madrey princess etc

32 slot bags and there is a button that shows the "bigbaglook" on the gear dropdown at the top right of the inventory.
@@MuklukUA-cam oooh nice must give that a try then

Hi mukluk. Any upate for this daily routine. Thank you
I still do the home farm, guild hall farm, and alt parking daily, and still get lots of near passive income from doing it. Currently over 8,000 gold from those habits, I don't farm anywhere else.

Is home at 2:20 refers to lily the elon ?
No, not Lily of the Elon. Talking about your home instance, here is a guide on it if you like: ua-cam.com/video/UzHbLETyEV8/v-deo.html

Yeah I know what you mean :) but you should really give it a try! You can really go an easy way without being overwhelmed :)
I positioned my alts at the bjora chests, but they won't give me eternal ice shards. Do you need any mastery to get it?
How do you use the shard to get the 32 slot reinforced boreal trunk?
Once you get the recipe for reinforced boreal trunk, one of the primary ingredients is eternal ice shards. So you can use those and eitrite to help make a bunch, along with some other stuff.
Hey Mukluk can I tp a friend my alts to your Bjora parking spots?
I assume most of content is for lvl 80 chars but what about early game routine lvl 10+?
Wait, how did you get your 32 slot bags?
How can I check what level of synthesis output my guilds are at if I have a low rank at all of them?
hey can you show us how you did the 32 bags? new player here o/
The 32 slot trunk I mentioned was wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Reinforced_Boreal_Trunk . The recipe to make it is a reward from wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Master_of_the_Ancestral_Forge
Crafting 1 bag alone is like 200g :)
I love seeing gw2 gold guides! I'm too lazy to get that all done, though.
Just kidding!
