disclaimer: low effort once you've progressed far enough from lengthy gameplay to make many of these suggestions 'low effort'. having reached that point, these do become excellent suggestions.
That first 80 is always tough, as is learning the different classes by yourself. There is no support from GW2 telling you how to get there when you are new. My deal with games is they have to pay for themselves, and all the shinies I want. And I want. So learning to use things like the wiki, joining LFGs, guilds, even UA-camrs like our MukLuk are part of the curve. So is being nice to new players, and having guild stuff just for them. It's a game that's not really hard to succeed at, given some delving into the social aspect.
@@oxnerd telling new players to grind out the story is terrible advice. The story is the last thing you tell people to do if you want them to stick around and enjoy the game
BTW about your parked characters in LA! for a tiny bit of extra effort you can jump into the PVP lobby use the Springer to jump on the big ass statue, then do the Jumping Puzzle there (it's basically jump on the statue, jump onto the building, run over to the other rock thingy, then use springer again to jump to the top (suppose you can use skyscale too) this takes very little extra time. And instead of opening 1 chest you can open 2. When you leave the PVP lobby you get automatically transported back to where you were before I have 3 level 21 characters parked in LA and they open 6 chests per day and I get almost every day at least 1 silver doubloon (yesterday I got 4 uwu)
I would also add the dragonfall meta event, if you have enough keys for the chests, they bring quite a bit of sustantiated loot for good amount of gold.
Again very helpful to someone forced out of the game for a year or 1.5 years due to no PC. Not only was this a fun watch but you showed me a few things I never even thought to do as a passive way to add to the gold count. Again Muk these guilds are really really done well. I hope the you tube channel grows more an more as a result of all the work, time and skill your doing on the channel now. Kudos you Brand Ambassador and Global Icon you :)
I just wanted to point out that free-to-play accounts don't get log-in rewards, so don't bother creating a ton of accounts in hopes for free stuff. To get the log-in rewards, you'll need a paid account, either by owning an expansion or getting a code for the paid core game, which is pretty rare to come by. Other than that, a pretty solid guide.
Your right, I should have specified! I do have a second account I got during a sale (the quiznos promotion, was much cheaper at that time) and I get the daily login rewards on that account and mine my home instance a 2nd time with it. And thanks for the kind words!
I remember reading about some dude that bought like 75 accoutns when they were on sale before HoT release ($5 each). And would log into them every day lol. To be fair that is like 3-4k gold per month i guess :p
0:42 I did just that since HoT's release. I didnt even play the game during this time but Id just log in, click the chest, log out. Thanks to that, now that I'm actually playing the game for real, I started my GW2 "career" with 750 mystic coins, 750 black lion salvage kits (which at 40-60s per kit is worth roughly 375g~), 150 mystic clovers, and more . Was able to instantly unlock the griffon and skyscale mounts without having to worry about gold :D
@@Amazekeen You just use the kits to salvage certain exotics. Without giving away too much, theres a site which tells you which exotics are most profitable to salvage. If you dig around you should be able to find it relatively easily.
Very helpful video! I never thought about making Extra-Pungent-Skyscale Treats with the charged quartz from my instance. Not only do you get paid but you're doing a public service by helping people who want to skip those wretched jumping puzzle steps when doing the interminable grind for skyscale, great idea!
I haven't played since before HoT came out, and watching this made my head spin with the amount of new mats and tricks available. Wowza. My grandma wants to play with me since I live so far away now and I was thinking of using GW2 as an MMO-newbie-friendly foray. So I pulled up youtube to see wha tI could find about current GW2. Now I'm wondering if it's actually newbie-friendly anymore. Maybe just the base game?
When you make a new toon you start off with 2 abilities and earn more slowly while leveling. Most classes end up with 10 abilities and a weapon swap which changes your 1-5 skills to a different set, then a few skills beyond that related to class specific stuff. For example: the ranger controls their pet with F1-F4 by default. Some classes have many more, such as elementalist. The game definately has a "easy to pick up, hard to master" feeling. If you think you and Gram might like it I would recommend using the free link, see what you think, and if you decide you love it you can buy the expansion later on. I have another video on this channel called "a stronger start, a guide for new players" that you might be interested in as well if you end up giving it a try: ua-cam.com/video/sEXcaZizax0/v-deo.html
I've just started myself and I think it is still newbie friendly. My first char is in the 20s and there's plenty of stuff to do and see. I'm not sure grandma would have to work up to advanced combat in groups and raids but I've done fine soloing with just normal loot and quest rewards for gear. You might want to make a few bags early on because the default bags and bank are fairly small.
@@MuklukUA-cam Right, like I said, I played it before the xpacs started coming out. I maxed out every class and profession in the game before I got bored with it. Once I got The Dreamer I felt like I had achieved my goal and had nothing else really to play for. Then HoT came out after I had stopped playing and I never went back. Now I'm trying to decide if GW2 base game or Classic WoW would be a better fit for her. I need to log back into GW2 and see how it feels on a brand new toon.
@crgzero We tried WoW back in Feb and she can't handle sitting at the computer long enough to get in a decent play session. So no gaming for her is the answer. The 80s have not been kind to her.
The background music of your videos (showcased in this as well) is just legendary. I started playing gw2 for the first time 2 years ago and watched your videos along with some others. That music is special to me for some reason.
This node is the second one. First rich quartz node is on Dry Top, its locked behind event with skritt queeen at Cragrock Palace and is accessible during last 10 minutes (so from xx:50 till full hour) of the Sandstorm! and only if Favor of the Zephyrites is at Tier 4 or higher. T4 is prety usual on prime time.
@@heinzermann Yes, they do, there are people who play F2P version of the game, so DT and SW are their farms cause nobody these days is doing champ trains on CS or FGS, as was usual in the past .... and there are some communities, who commands DT run every week - ie Open Community every Thursday 19:30 under guild tag "PvE"
The chest at the end of the jumping puzzle in Draconis Mons is a good place to park other alts if you have that map unlocked. Login f logout, no waiting unlike the LA chest. Also a steady supply of unbound magic for ascended trinkets
(cronebear) -- for daily mystic forge -- save up or buy 4 dyes (usually 16-21c one the market). I've gotten 5-15g dyes from this. It's more potential profit, I think, than 4 green gears.
@@MuklukUA-cam See, cheap dyes are now going to go up immensely on Mystic Daily days. But, hey, for the moletariat! :) But seriously, they will be hella cheap if you buy them in advance, especially the ones people get from leveling rewards. Keep 4 stacks in the bank if you have room, and if you feel like you have a surplus, just spam cook them in the forge and the ones that you get that are worthless? Put them in the next combo. Pretty much by odds if you are recycling the low value dyes you get, eventually you'll hit one that's at least 20-50s or something, and profit anyway. Plus, if you are a fashionista, you get to fill out your dye panels ftw. BTW, you won't likely see me in discord. I'm a retired cybersecurity type, and I just really think discord is a security nightmare and encourages bad behavior. But ty for the invite to the lounge, I'm sure it's maginifique.
Well since you gave tequatl as a honorable mention you could've also given the ley line anomaly a honorable mention as a daily thing, giving one mystic coin and one junk item worth 50s per day/account ;) Overall I agree with this video but unfortunately im already doing most of it myself, these things helps you bump up your income over time with low effort but if you miss a day on any of them it's not the end of the world
I've found map/world completion to be a pretty low effort way of making gold. It definitely does take a while, but it's easy for new players to do and just gathering all the nodes while you're completing the maps means you're passively generating gold from the mats as you go. Plus, there's the chance of getting a Black Lion Key for every map you complete, which can get you some really nice items to sell.
Tequatl actually gives two gold every day for the first time you kill it. As a still newbie I refer back to this guide every now and then as I understand a few more of the tips. We recently started doing the auric basin and wow it has uped the daily gold earnings. So our current program is dailies, auric basin and Tequatl which nets at least 7-8 gold.
@@NoodleBoy26 Absolutely. They are often faster and more fun than the dailies. Those are good for achievement points however (10 per day). Every evening at 9pm CEST there is a beginner friendly Teq group with four commanders. I always join them because I know it works well and is great fun.
The best low effort option is alt accounts, my friend has 5 accounts while i struggle with Mystic coins, that bastard is rolling in them, few months ago he had over 2k mystic coins, he sold 1000 and made Exordium...
@@rainingnights1409 Condsider how much real cash you save by doing that, swimming in gold by doing this method and you will never need to buy gems with real cash.
For me, one of the best methods is to use spirit shards in the mystic forge to create lodestones or to upgrade t1 materials to t2 ( or gold to platinum sometimes). This requires to have the masteries to be able to stack mystic shards of course. Anyway, nice video :D
You should be doing daily and recommended fractals. Combinded you get AT least 20 or more gold. I've gotten as much as 50 gold in one go and in fractals it's possible to get a precursor. (My friend got the precursor for twilight)
AstridAstreia Lmao, you get ascended chests a lot from fractals. Even if you only build yourself up to t2 fracs you could still get an ascended chest and work your way up, sounds like you just need some patience. Btw if you want to talk about the price, you get free +1 agony’s from doing fractals. That makes a 7 gold +9 agony infusion only three gold when you buy it from the vendor. You just have to play this game smarter, not harder. AND if you’re already doing all the recs which means you’re doing t3 recs, then you’ve already invested your money, why not just finish it off? It’s worth the gold payout.
@@Kittlyn as many people have said, these tips are for AFTER you've levelled up your toon a fair bit, and/or at least paid for the basic game. You get no login rewards without buying in.
@@AstridAstreia I don't know if you still play the game but investing in fractals is honestly the most return I have so far. It is more convenient than raids and honestly on average it is extremly rewarding. Even if you low roll you get 20gold worth of stuff in T4s bare minimum(it would mean that you get matrixes in all 15 chests, crack encypted and get shit ^^') and yesterday it took me 40mn to do all T4 + recs and was more close to 40gold worth of things with no particulary good rng(3 mystic coins and 2 infused rings that salvaged meh). Infusions are not that expensive either, it's 5 gold to buy and if you farm the content daily you will be able to craft yours or recoup selling yours, you actually loot them as well by doing fractal so it is a kind of loan more than a straight loss ^^'.
Anyone else just happy to have figured some of these out on their own? I have a toon parked in Auric specifically for the meta and chests. Didn't know probably any of the other stuff, though XD
Not really low effort but every year I do the Mad Kings Labyrinth during the Halloween event. I sell all my trick or treat bags and usually come away with 40 to 50 gold an hour or so and taking multiple breaks. By the end of Halloween I usually come away with at least 500 gold. I have also used this time to level up 4 characters from level 5 to 80 taking about a day or 2 for each one.
every day you can easily harvest 50 winterberries per character. It can be consumed for tonnes of magic whihc you can turn into t6mats. additionally you can get ascended accessories (roughly 1 per two days) and it takes about 20ms for 5 characters
Just collect laurels from the daily log in reward each month and by t6 mat bags with them. Each bag yields about 3 mats. I suggest picking the +20 laurel one at the end of the month. 55 x 3 = 165 t6 mats that you can sell for about 20 gold each month. Then sell the 20 mystic coins you get and that's another 40 g you can make for a total of 60 g/ month just by logging in the game. And that's not taking into account the rest of the mats you get by just playing the game. Seriously people just play the damn game and don't worry about the gold you're pretty much covered.
really cool way of making some gold is by marketing the spare fractal boxes you get while doing your fractal dailies if you don't get a key to open them.
Also dont forget the legendery ley event. The event takes like 1 - 5 minutes and the bossen are easy since it is very populated. It will grand you with some unidentified rares, crystallized ley-energy (50 silver) and a mystic coin (almost 2,5 gold at the moment) so about 3 gold in a couple of minutes:-) personally i keep the coin, since i wanna start on legenderys at some point soon but you can sell them if you want some easy gold
Sell non-"junk" trash items (e.g., medallions) to vendors. If you're stacking up items you don't want, they don't get stored as materials, and they only sell for coppers on the trading post, sell them to vendors for a guaranteed vendor price. You can also clean out TP items that have been "selling" for months, sell them to vendors, and recoup your loss for a quick gold.
Oh shit! It never occured to me that I could attune the rings for a cheap infusion slot! It seems so obvious now. I've been selling the damn uninfused ascended rings to a vendor for less then 4 silver, because salvaging them hardly ever breaks even :D Oh no, so many matrices lost!!! :D
There's another Rich Quartz node at Dry Top, but it only unlocks during sandstorm at Tier 4 (IIRC). It's not hard to find a map with it unlocked at the right time, and people usually kill the boss at reset.
the bags of materials the various mobs drop are usually worth 2sil+ on the trade market. bandits bag of pinched goods are fairly easy with the events in Queesndale
Triple Trouble Crimson wurm is extremely low effort and high reward. Combined with Tequatl. These 2 events done once a day will net you all your ascended gear for free as you have a good chance of drops from the chests. These 2 events are always back to back. Teq is first and then wurms. Best to do immediately after reset. You need to show up at least 30 minutes before triple trouble starts so you don’t get locked out of the main map. Guilds run the event every day 3 times a day. Pacific time: 5 pm, 9 pm, and 12 am. Remember to show up 30 minutes before in bloodtide coast, always keep track of lfg!
TT is good for rewards BUT I wouldn't exactly classify something you have to show up 30 minutes early for or need a guild-organized run for an "easy/low-effort" method. I think that's probably why it was skipped here.
i usually farm leather in lake doric with a commander and a decently sized group of players. So far it has given me quite a bunch of gold in a short period of time. It's not really low efford but it's quick money i guess. but you can stop farming it whenever you feel like it unlike a long lasting meta event.
I divide my alts between the verdant brink flax farm and the tomb of primeval kings chest run, personally. I never have an issue with ecto just from the passive salvage of rares that aren't worth selling.
Would add Timberline Falls LeyLine Anomaly to the list. If you do reset teq, then hop over to leyline immediately after. You get 1 free mystic coin + random unidentified items for minimal effort (the map is always stacked with people so you literally just spam auto-attack) + the few minutes prior to spawn you can collect some easy nodes of plat ore (one of which is always rich) and plat ore is very well priced atm. Can also do Crystal Oasis Pinata (super low effort), TD + AB meta immediately following leyline, Death Branded Shatterer, then Junundu meta. Usually would go teq > leyline > TD > AB > DBS > Junundu. All ez low effort metas.
as a returning player that is still awfully new since i never got further than 30 when the game launched, the only problem i have is that i honestly dont udnerstand half of the words being spoken, and the change from it being other currencies to gold. think i just gotta look all of the things up on the wiki multiple times to slowly get my brain to understand what is what :p
haven't been playing much so I just do the dailies for the 2 gold, kill 10 krait then as i usually play in a specific time, i do the Matriarch, Ley line anomaly, Karka queen, in a sequence of 30 min
Am I the only one who understood less than half the stuff he said? I guess I shouldn't have looked for guides on how to minmax getting gold after just hitting 80 yesterday. 😅
Many of the recommended tipps repeat themselves in many of those videos. Don't worry, you'll get there. I have been lvl 80 for two or three weeks and I at least know about many things he talks about while still being far from doing them. Just by watching a bunch of guides and tutorials. Totally recommend daily Tequatl. He is lots of fun for two gold and a spoon. :D
Good list, although from experience this can make you burn out quickly because the game becomes a boring task list. After a while I just did t4 fractals daily and then whatever I felt like. Fun/gold ratio is important! Sure its low effort but its also boring and everything isnt time efficient. Nice if you want tv or something tho.
TEQ and world bosses really don't get much for the effort. Been farming them for years off and on and they have yet to drop more than junk I could get hitting large mob groups on map while hunting nodes.
Correction: Attuning (as shown on the video) an ascended ring does not give you the same chance (1-20) as infusing the ring (source wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Salvage#Ascended_equipment) . By attuning you get only chance to get 1-2 Stabilizing Matrices on top of the normal 1-20. Hence it's barely worth it to attune non-infused rings as it's not profitable to waste ascended salvage kits on (attuned) non-infused rings.
Ah! Thanks for that correction, I didn't know! In my case however I have stacks of 20 charge ascended salvage kits I keep getting for free in fractal loot boxes, so I don't mind either way.
The jump puzzle one is something I am going to try out. My character maybe needs to grow a few more lvls but then she can do the puzzle once and stay there until it's time to level and play her. Is the karma converter woth it? For obsidian shards? Or is there a better way to get them?
@@MuklukUA-cam the question for me is less about how to get rid of karma and more how to get the shards. the wiki told me about hte converter, I just wasn't sure if it was the best way to get the shards, and as you have mentioned the converters here, I thought I'd ask. :)
i'm a huge noob who never used the mystic forge, how do i get that recipe? since i don't have the expantions and i'm not in a guild the fractals seems the most fun and easy way in this video so i'm thinking in trying out. Also nonrelated question: i made a guild 6 years ago when i started playing (had a 5year gap and got recently to the game) to use the guild storage for myself, menaged to get to lvl 2. Is it possible to have a guild hall with an arena upgrade? i mean, is it feasible with like 5 players? we just wanna have a place and mess around dueling and practicing between ourselves and i found out that's the only way since there is no dueling system.
1) Mystic forge recipes don't have to be learned, just put the required items in and hit the button, that's it. 2) Yep, getting a basic pvp arena in the guild hall is very feasible for a few people to do.
@@MuklukUA-cam thanks for the quick response! :D Only 2 more lvls on my main so i can try myself on fractals, after a few runs in i Will come back here and check the items to upgrade the rings, salvage and make money. Also i'll check what it is required for the arena upgrade. Any guild has that instanced hall or one must reach a certain lvl? I had a Quick look on the guild page these days and couldnt find the upgrade page on it, made me feel like they changed it a bit and before was more intuitive idk...
@@DanilloMagalhaes All the instanced guild halls have the same construction options, but I think only the HoT guild halls are reachable by free2play players. I'm afraid I don't recall which upgrades are required to get the basic arena but I know the basic constructions are relatively inexpensive. Getting them to their maximum level costs hundreds of times more (which I don't think you'll care about doing)
@@MuklukUA-cam Thanks again! ^^ you responded me in another video with a link showing the differences between f2p accounts, core, HoT and PoF. It seems that as a core account i was able to use the upgrade page in guild options and now it's only for HoT and PoF accounts. i'm not completly sure as i didn't have time to log in game and search around in the guild hall if inside it it actually shows. Because around 5 years ago i could easly Press G and go to the upgrade charts and pick the ones i wanted to do etc. I remember expanding the guild bank and doing few other stuffs that made the guild lvl 2.
To be honest i would not even care about it too much. The thing is, you make gold with pretty much EVERYTHING. There are so many daylie things that can give you gold, if i would only do these every day, all i would be doing is daylies and then head to bed. The most important thing and also the most low effort way of making gold is to spend less gold. If you buy a 90g skin every time you hit 100g.. how do you expect to get money? You need to think more long term. Like do map completion, get 2 gifts. Then work yourself up to craft a legendary and sell that legendary, you make like a couple hundreds profit and fund the craft of the next legendary, so on so on. And dont spend it, use it to make more, you need gold to make gold. Maybe for every 1000g youre allowed to spend 200g , something like that. Gathering stuff is allright to get started but you simply wont get rich by farming because farming takes time, and when i can pay a little fee to have others farm for me, thats when you ''make gold'' since you make gold with no time investment. gathering it yourself is more or less ''trading time for gold'' but you dont actually make gold
From the wiki "These special items are affected by magic find: Containers received from reward tracks, generally called "Loot box" or "cache", which simulate loot drops from the named NPC.[3][4] Chests and containers specifically mentioned to be affected by it, such as: Lost Bandit Chests in the Silverwastes. Caches and loot boxes from Heart of Thorns content Divine Lucky Envelopes during Lunar New Year" For the "lvl 53" part of your question, yes I believe so. That isn't something I bother with but I think that is still "maximum profit".

Was the upgrade in home instance free back then? I recently started playing and was looking into it, and it seems I need Gem Store item to have those upgrade. And they cost 800gem - 4,000gem if they every bring it back (based on Wiki record). Is there other ways of getting it?
This is a video guide I made on home instances: ua-cam.com/video/UzHbLETyEV8/v-deo.html MOST nodes for home instance are not from the gem store, only a few are.
I tried personally to salvage 8 ascended rings that I attuned. I got 27 stabilizing matrices. The cost of salvaging is 9.92g (agonic essence + salvage tools). The total selling price at TP of those 27 matrices was 7.14g (TP fees already deducted). That is almost 3g negative profit. How is that break even?
The price of matrices may have dropped slightly since I made this guide, but I still consider it worth doing. You get a lot of free ascended salvage kits from fractals (so you don't have to pay for them) and you can get up to 20 matrices for a single salvage. If you got 27 from 8 salvages that is unfortunately bad luck which does happen sometimes.
Why do you get volatile magic from the guild hall loot? When I loot them I only get things like strawberries, I do have the gather boost on via the tavern, the guild is lvl 66
I don't believe it has, I use it almost daily. But there are multiple mystic forge enhancements involving rings, it is possible you may be thinking of another one.
Why would you move your toon out if the jumping puzzle? Just visit the PVP lounge or WvW. Actually my WvW main is at a jumping puzzle and only does those activities.
I mean, I said I hadn't moved him out of their in months so I'm not sure where this is coming from. But the most obvious answer is... if I wanted to play that toon?
@@MuklukUA-cam just that you could have been clearer, a lot of people don't ever think of using the PvP lounge as it is "for PvP". Usually I leave WvW, storage and low level toons on these points, ones that have not moved off the point in over a year, some for a lot longer. Minor omission in a great video. I am one of those who makes a nice amount of gold doing easy things and I got a couple of new ones from this.

The sad part of GW2 farming /grinding mecanics is: you login, invest 2h on daily stuff (fractal, CMs, strikes, IBS, chest, jaderunestone, yada yada yada), at the end you need to log out and go to bed. After few weeks, that was all the game offered to me as a "farm" tatic, i got bored VERY quickly... Is suppose to be fun, if is not dont go, cuz you will tilt and get bored of the game. Just do the content you like, and the gold will appear eventually. BTW, you cant be, a new player fresh account and be able to follow this guide. you need someplay time, to even understand half of those "daily" tasks. Yes you have RAIDS, Yes you have other stuff, but those other stuff ask KP (a ridicilous system in this game, imo) and LFG dont offer enough groups for those so called "new". the game should have a more friendly LFG like WoW, and not so "discord" or you wont get a group thing. I love guildwars 2, but... :P
this is the video. you say you can make an alt account to mail yourself daily login rewards. to those who don't know any better it sounds like it's so easy as if free accounts are eligible.
I believe they need to be either A: different levels or B: different locations. I'm in 3 guild halls, all different locations and levels and I can farm all 3 each day
In a way yes, but it isn't like most games. There are certain unlocks you can get (like resource nodes) that once unlocked, appear in your home instance and can be harvested daily. You cannot decorate it like player housing in some games. But I get a few gold and a mountain of materials from farming my home each day, very easily. I have a guide on home instances here if you are interested: ua-cam.com/video/UzHbLETyEV8/v-deo.html

When you leave the PVP lobby you get automatically transported back to where you were before I have 3 level 21 characters parked in LA and they open 6 chests per day and I get almost every day at least 1 silver doubloon (yesterday I got 4 uwu)
Combine 4 green medallions in mystic forge for a chance at amalgamated gem stone. You get them often from salvaging gear, and they add up quick.
I was going to follow this guide to make gold but it felt like too much effort.
Same here. I was like... So this is the Low Effort? Mehh
The literal no transition between themes made it look even mode overwhelming.
Ikr I was excited to see some nice farming places etc, but this looks super crazy work :(
not to mention i barely understood half of the things he said
Looks like i’ll just be doing daily fractals and hoping for ascended gear to salvage...at the most
I would also add the dragonfall meta event, if you have enough keys for the chests, they bring quite a bit of sustantiated loot for good amount of gold.
Tequatl gives 2 gold.. 1 for ground chest, and 1 for the exotic chest.
Never knew they made it like that, very smart on anet lol
I remember reading about some dude that bought like 75 accoutns when they were on sale before HoT release ($5 each). And would log into them every day lol. To be fair that is like 3-4k gold per month i guess :p
@@sunnydlite-t8b Next guide "how to never be short of gold again!" video plays and just says "buy 75 accounts"
Black Lion salvage kits are account bound, what u mean its worth 40-60s per kit? merchant? or am i missing something here?

Didn't know about the rich quartz crystal node. Hot!
If you're going to park a character at the end of any jump puzzle, it might as well be the Jackal one in Crystal Oasis for 3 chests.
Ahh awesome I have so many malts! Never thought to do that!

I didn't know that one!
@@MuklukUA-cam See, cheap dyes are now going to go up immensely on Mystic Daily days. But, hey, for the moletariat! :)
But seriously, they will be hella cheap if you buy them in advance, especially the ones people get from leveling rewards.
Well since you gave tequatl as a honorable mention you could've also given the ley line anomaly a honorable mention as a daily thing, giving one mystic coin and one junk item worth 50s per day/account ;)
Overall I agree with this video but unfortunately im already doing most of it myself, these things helps you bump up your income over time with low effort but if you miss a day on any of them it's not the end of the world
Karka Queen is also good for low-effort boss farming, since she always has a million players on her and is the most simple world boss.
I had to turn this down to .75 speed.
I've slowed down a bit in my more recent videos, I've heard this from a few people lol
Two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles and onions ...
I was about to comment that, I'm new to the game hahaha.
i sped it up to 1.25
MuklukUA-cam Your speed is great, thanks!
Daily?
@@NoodleBoy26 I am not sure I understand you correctly?
literaturegeek as in you would suggest doing teq and aurics basin on a daily basis?
@@NoodleBoy26 Absolutely. They are often faster and more fun than the dailies. Those are good for achievement points however (10 per day). Every evening at 9pm CEST there is a beginner friendly Teq group with four commanders. I always join them because I know it works well and is great fun.
Just remember that anything you do every day begins to feel like an obligation and increases the odds of burnout.
This and inventory management issues are the 2 main reasons why I stop playing MMOs
The best low effort option is alt accounts, my friend has 5 accounts while i struggle with Mystic coins, that bastard is rolling in them, few months ago he had over 2k mystic coins, he sold 1000 and made Exordium...

I just did it and got almost 2.5 gold after selling some of the loot
Nice honestly more helpful than any other video I’ve watched. Subbed
Playing for 6 weeks - Didn’t get any gold to be honest, maybe 1 max. Did exactly what you said cuz someone with high level helped me to do it.
Wow I did this method too for years. I highly recommend this one!
The jumping puzzle chest with alt tip is amazing!
I suggest that you keep at least 250 of the mystic coins just in case you want to use them. You dont want to do a buy back if you do.
UA-cam knows what I like and need
Don't forget to buy fractal keys each day, only 30 per day at 20 silvers, don't buy higher than 20 silvers.
You get 100% profit from it
So much useful info in this one, I'm going to have to bookmark it.
i enjoy Fractals so much that i play even those that are not labeled as *daily* , sadly nobody do these
I feel man
Anyone else just happy to have figured some of these out on their own? I have a toon parked in Auric specifically for the meta and chests.
Didn't know probably any of the other stuff, though XD
Not really low effort but every year I do the Mad Kings Labyrinth during the Halloween event. I sell all my trick or treat bags and usually come away with 40 to 50 gold an hour or so and taking multiple breaks. By the end of Halloween I usually come away with at least 500 gold. I have also used this time to level up 4 characters from level 5 to 80 taking about a day or 2 for each one.
Dailies are 2g/day and super easy to do.
every day you can easily harvest 50 winterberries per character. It can be consumed for tonnes of magic whihc you can turn into t6mats. additionally you can get ascended accessories (roughly 1 per two days) and it takes about 20ms for 5 characters
I managed to scramble up to 1000k with 1000 ectoplasm from the ecto gambling, got down to 0 but sprang up with winning more 60% of the time
Just collect laurels from the daily log in reward each month and by t6 mat bags with them.
This, I've never had to actually go intentionally gold farming in the entire year I've been playing.
I love the intro.
really cool way of making some gold is by marketing the spare fractal boxes you get while doing your fractal dailies if you don't get a key to open them.
The most effort you put in is remembering everything you could do in a few hours of play just to make some gold
Yeah dude. Doing daily fracs itself takes hours. Let alone farming for money. Hard to fit in so much!
Great guide, thanks muk!
Great video. Subbed! I have a question, which seeds do you recommend for the home instance crops? Thanks
I'm still unlocking all the seed options, but of the seeds I have access to I am currently using Thyme as it sells for the most.
@@foozlesprite You're afk until the event actually starts. The event is super easy too especially crimson wurm.
i usually farm leather in lake doric with a commander and a decently sized group of players.
For some reason i dont get warm with you, but i have to say that this video was well made, well paced and good content!
Daily Ley line anomaly .. much better then Tequatl .. its about 2g per day (mystic coin + 50s trophy) in like 5 mins

Thank you for making this
This is actually a helpful video. I am pretty confused about 7:41. So you are selling items to another player?
Correct
This sorta helped me. Got me to 98 gold

Are wvw containersaffected by magic find and is it still recommanded to open unidentified gear on a lvl 53 character?
I would like to know that!
From the wiki
"These special items are affected by magic find:
Containers received from reward tracks, generally called "Loot box" or "cache", which simulate loot drops from the named NPC.[3][4]
Chests and containers specifically mentioned to be affected by it, such as:
Lost Bandit Chests in the Silverwastes.
Caches and loot boxes from Heart of Thorns content

For the "lvl 53" part of your question, yes I believe so. That isn't something I bother with but I think that is still "maximum profit".

Im new to the game! What lvl i can I farm gold? im only lvl 22 can i farm gold or wait to lvl 80?? Ty
Hi, you mentioned identifying equipment, but I have no idea how to do it? Is it only on gear 80+?
If you have unidentified gear, you can just double click on it, or right click on it then click "use" or "use all" to identify it.
Why do you get volatile magic from the guild hall loot? When I loot them I only get things like strawberries, I do have the gather boost on via the tavern, the guild is lvl 66
Volatile magic harvesting tools
Subbed!
Thanks!
Thank you!
I believe the mystic forge recipe for the asc rings from fractals has changed! The infused one now needs different items that cost a little more.
I don't believe it has, I use it almost daily. But there are multiple mystic forge enhancements involving rings, it is possible you may be thinking of another one.
MuklukUA-cam Really? How strange. I tried using the rings the second time with the same materials and it wouldn’t let me. Do you know why?😰
@@robinauseer499 Here's the two recipes: wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Infused_equipment
@@MuklukUA-cam Huh? BOTH recipes are different now! The first recipe was the one in the video just earlier. What's going on!
Doing rec fractals gets you the pots youll use for your t4 dailys. Otherwise youll be spending fractal relics for pots each day.
Also rec reward chest has ab equally good chance to drop loot what u can turn to gold
what is with leatherfarm? i think that is another good spot :)
Did they remove the ability to farm the synthesizer nodes on multiple guilds daily (even if they are different levels).
No they did not, I still farm 3 guilds a day (even today). But the synth's have to be different levels (in terms of upgrades).
@@seriousmaran9414 Understood, thanks for the clarification!
Bro i only get 1 gold after getting 100 silver, and 1 silver after getting 100 copper, and every 10 levels i get 1 gold only. Right now i have 111 gold, i am lvl 19 btw, 100 gold from a guild member and 10 from w friend, i thank them a lot and a lot, i wish to repay them..
I will look into ur way of getting gold :)
Didn’t know this turned into a single player game lol
Strange - I've tried farming two guild halls in the past and found that if one was done, the other yields nothing. Did they change it?
I believe they need to be either A: different levels or B: different locations. I'm in 3 guild halls, all different locations and levels and I can farm all 3 each day
It has to be different levels
For the synths its enough to have one with & one without the very last upgrade
What is a home instance?! Does GW2 have housing?
In a way yes, but it isn't like most games. There are certain unlocks you can get (like resource nodes) that once unlocked, appear in your home instance and can be harvested daily. You cannot decorate it like player housing in some games. But I get a few gold and a mountain of materials from farming my home each day, very easily. I have a guide on home instances here if you are interested: ua-cam.com/video/UzHbLETyEV8/v-deo.html
