I have this radio in my collection. It is a great radio for people who want to get into CB radio. I first saw this radio on a channel called @Fred in the Shed. He made a lot of videos telling about the CRT SS 9900.
Hi! I am new to amateur radio and looking at buying this radio (foundation licence in progress). Is the east midland group still running? Has the freq. changed?
Hello! The only thing that annoy me is the fact that if we switch from channel mode let's say CB 19 into frequency mode and accidentally we change the frequency, let's say from 27.185 to 28.185, when back in channel mode, it will keep the changed frequency. Practically the channel mode became useless, each and every time, when switching between channels I have to check the frequency and compare it to the frecquency table and when driving, this is almost impossible and very dangerous. This is a way to avoid that? Thanks!

I have this radio along side the 6900n and my HF radio The Kenwood t680s. All have been wide banded
A menu video would be very helpful!.

On my radio the UK FM channels are in Band "D".
Just ordered this radio the v4. Just like to know if anyone can recommend a good power microphone for it
Also turn the Squelch up so there is no sound when your talking.
