Note: I neglected to plaster the walls with Gold Certificates to bring the room's prestige up to 5. That is an optional, but beneficial, addition to the room as shown.
I recommend the Weighing Machine if you have access to it. Same benefit as medicine cabinet, only costs 400 each, takes up an overall smaller footprint, and staff don't need to access them. You can spam them with impunity.
I really enjoy your strategy & tactics videos! I prefer the Retro pack's weighing machines to the cabinets. Also, where did you end up placing a fire extinguisher?
I’m now on my second playthrough. I’m kinda married to the strategy of no cheap diagnostics. That is, do not build GD, Cardio, Fluid or X-ray. DNA and MEGA (2-3 rooms each) are all you need for everything. You also have Psychiatry and ward which you have to build because of treatment.
You can easily fit 16 medical cabinets plus a hand sanitizer and only need a small heater for a 3x3. FYI - Giant Pipette is from another DLC. We don't all buy everything. I skipped Culture shock and Stitch in Time.
I have all of the DLCs but I don't have it either, but I have a scale which he never uses, strange.... I just checked, you get it through a Superbug initiative I'm also signed in in the newsletter, but I don't get the Hospital Pass for some reason
I've never actually seen my nurses use the coffee maker even when the room is not busy. They just approach it, lift the jar up then put it back down. Or does that already count as them "using" it?
If they are thirsty, they'll actually pour themselves a cup, but if they randomly decide to interact with it but aren't thirsty enough, they'll just stare at the pot.
@@Pinstar That actually makes sense if it's working in the staff room and not in the DG/TRMNT Rooms. Maybe I just haven't chanced upon them being actually thirsty in those rooms. 😊
I think you got the temperature reference backwards. But an understandable slip of the tounge. Interesting that this over writes some of your older videos pre DLC. I got the game on Christmas sale and with all DLC. I wouldn't be shocked if youd have a popular series of videos that were 'definative' ie if you have all DLC.

You could put 2 medicine cabinets back to back to block off one side of the examination table and push it closer to the middle of the room.
More great advice from Pinstar!
The vintage weighting machine also has that characteristic?

Some don't like coffee and will go for a vending machine if available.
@@zedorda1337 Who doesn't like coffee?! I'll immediately fire those staffs lol jk 😋

It's still wasted movement/animations.
