14:03 QUESTION: Why......is there no Staff Job-Allowed Assignments screen Menu/List to view ALL Staff Assignments at once so we can manage them all easily on one screen like we could in the 'Two Point Hospital' game (Instead of having to manually select and click a hundred buttons)?
After deleting my first file in disgust (lol), I've learned to unlock the second cooking campus asap, which gives you private tuition options, clubs and the ability to organise events. Events are great mood boosters and once I have private tuition, I scroll through the students (particularly the first years) and send anyone who's struggling there on both of my campuses. I got one little dude up from a failing grade to a B+ average by graduation XD (Not that this is exactly earth shattering but it's something that helped me greatly so I figured that I'd share.)
This is great, thanks so much! I have trouble with games like this and TPH because there are so many little things to remember, and I take pretty big stretches of time off playing games, so it makes it hard to find it fun jumping back in when I can't remember the nit-picky details. I wish the game had more tips!
I personally like a 4x4 dorm - surprisingly you can fit a bed, desk and closet in them. I think this also helps apply to students being happier with "less" people living in the dorm, each dorm I have only has 1 bed. Copy/Paste on this also makes it pretty easy to get a good build going quickly.
I do two beds per dorm for the most part but try to put a divider either between each bed or the "living" part of the dorm (where I have their desk and wardrobe) etc, which seems to make them happier.
@@hafidhabrar it's not, I can't remeber now but I think it's one bed per 4 students. The important thing is not too many beds per room. I go for two beds per room.
I would say also a huge tip for builds is take advantage of student break. Make sure any reorganizing and setup is done before you start a new Semester!
Yeah, particularly whenever I've unlocked a new campus or course, if anything I spent more game time building things over the break than the actual playthrough.
If on your starting campus you need more space for rooms but can't afford to buy a new plot then expand the existing campus you were given, click on the floor of the campus building and select 'build mode', you can get rid of that useless open central area in the first scenario, move or delete doors and just generally improve your campus design. The only thing you can't do is join 2 separate buildings together or completely delete one in scenarios where 2 campus buildings are present.
Generally should I organise the different builds based on education vs fun or different courses? Like currently I have my dorms etc in one building and all teaching in another like in real life. But they arnt using the dorms much. How do I know how many lecture theatres do I need? Does all private tuition happen manually?
The game tells you if you need more lecture theatres before the academic year begins. You can also check the timetable to see which classes are scheduled in which rooms
I just tried this game for free during a game trial on Nintendo Switch and I loved it! I was totally hooked. However, I didn't find it intuitive on the Switch at all. I'll definitely be looking out for a Steam sale and get it on pc! This video was very helpful :)
Okay so what’s the Red “!” When it’s over a certain room? For me it’s over one of the Staff’s rooms. I’ve tried everything i can think of to remove it and it’s still there. Is it a possible glitch maybe?
Dang. No wonder I was having such a hard time with the early levels. I was leveling my courses way too much. Lost so much space just to build new facilities.
I'm loving this game so far, but I do have a question. Does anyone know for sure what "Max Qualification Level" is under course management? Ex: I was in a situation a bit ago where money was tight and I hit the summer with enough course points to upgrade my existing course to allow more students. I could easily fit another bed or two to accomodate them, but I wasn't sure if the increased "max qualification level" would mean too much added expense for me or not, since I don't know what it means. Does it refer to how many years students can study that particular subject, with each additional year likely demanding an extra room or two? In that case it probably would have been smart to upgrade, since the added cost wouldn't have hit hard until after the upcoming year had finished. Since I wasn't sure, I opted to keep everything the same and give myself a "safety year" to build up some cash. But maybe upgrading would have been a better idea. I wish that particular bit were better explained by the game. Tl;dr: If anyone knows for sure what "max qualification level" means, I'd def appreciate the answer. Thanks!
I was confused on it but I found out that it is the max level a teacher teaching that subject can be trained or hired up to. So if your max qual is 4 then you can’t train a teacher above level 4, the higher the level the more xp they give to students
I just got into this game because of gamepass and I'm loving it. But I keep restarting cuz I build too quickly and don't make enough money. Lol 😂 hopefully these tips will help me
For lecture hall, I see you have a room with capacity with 16 students? Will any class use the 16 seats, as most class has only 5 students. I want to maximize efficiency with larger class, but could it happens? How?
I'm not sure about classes, but the lecture hall also hosts some special events, like the one where you show a funny movie. Bigger capacity would probably help with allowing more students to attend those events (which cost money to host, so you want to maximize their effect).
I'm considering making a 16 student capacity lecture hall and only using it to play funny films once a month, that should boost their happiness quite a bit.
Most initial land plots can hold two classrooms with each having a capacity of 8 students. A 16-capacity lecture hall allows you to max out attendance for an event when neither class is in session.
This was super informative, though I feel a lot of these mechanics seem to be much like their previous game Two Point Hospital. Still, I can see that they upgraded a lot of that as well, things like not just being able to fill a room with one item to get max prestige. Also, prestige levels go much much higher as well, pushing you to create more diverse options. Are you by any chance planning to compare games as well and talk about improvements or things you feel could be done better?
There are many improvements compared to the previous, structural variety between maps, exteriors and building editing, items are needed for assignments and not just for prestige, same classes need to be shared between different courses, leaving you with strategies to keep already existing rooms used at every time, many items can have different skins/textures, etc...
I think i have around 300h in TPH where I got headaches from setting patients in TPS setting options and courses and prices for students makes my head go in nuclear explosion
If its like their last game, it will never get super hard. But getting 3 stars on every level will get more challenging after the first 4-5 levels. First hand full are here's the mechanics you need to understand levels. After that they throw specific challenges on each level to make you rethink everything they taught you.
Anyone else having some sorta weird bug where the teacher will do everything BUT what you tell them to do. I tried to tell my teacher to get back to work, and he goes and buys food, goes to bathroom, or just sits around doing nothing. I tell them to go train, and they don't ever get to it. Wtf
Cool video but some info are wrong. Hand sanitizers refill a tiny portion of hygiene need whereas shower fills it entirely. Hand sanitizers are a drop of water in the ocean of filth in all honesty.
Who do I put in my lecture Halls ? I'm doing VR class, but none of the VR teacher can work in the lecture hall.. glitch ? Or am I doing something wrong ? Lol

Have you watched Stupendim's music video for this game? It'd be interesting to know a professor's reaction.

These were really useful tips, especially since the game doesn't quite explain everything.
Glad to hear it! Definitely tried to get in there to highlight some of the not-so-obvious and downright hidden stuff!
Man I'm finding the game explains almost nothing. Like I had to look up what the queue symbols above the rooms were. No idea what private tuition did
Bro facts!! It’s a good game! But damn explain it a little more 😂 good video

I appreciate all the ui clicks during the narration. A lot of what I miss is some buttons and toggles I'm not using.
It is best to be intake students in multiples of 8. All classrooms have a capacity of 8, so this strategy maximizes students vs investments
Ive heard that to
