    After a week of Magnesium

      That's great! 👏
      May I PLEASE ask you how much magnesium you took to help your knee pain? As I have been taking magnesium for a few years to help me sleep, but I haven't been able to sleep for a full 8 hours for years even though 😔. But now I have been dealing with knee pain in my right knee for a few years and lately (I believe it's only worse because I broke my left ankle 😢) and I have to put more weight on my right leg and so my right knee has been killing me 😭.
      I would love to know what amount you took to help you as I would love to have my knee feel better (it is now since my left broken ankle is finally healing, but not as much as I'd like 😢) Thanks so much for your help!!!

    One of the things I noticed when I went on Keto was an improvement in my nails. They became much less brittle yet stronger. Along with less joint and back pain this was just another indicator of health improvement from cutting carbs.

      🤔 how did you get rid of your Fibromyalgia??? I've suffered from it since I was 18yrs and I have tried everything...it will lessen, but NEVER goes away. Course I do have ruptured disc's from my neck to my tail bone so maybe that's why I still feel the pain.
      The best I ever felt was when I followed the book "I cured my arthritis you can too" where you basically do a reset of your body by fasting with 6 fresh lemons in a quart of water every day and then after a week start adding a food a week back in while still doing the 6 lemons in the water and anytime your body felt pain within 2hrs after eating that food you knew your body was allergic to it and not to eat it.
      The book is old, but it was great and described it better than me.
      Thanks for your help because I along with two others I know would LOOOOVE to be free of fibromyalgia pain!

I every morning desend 7 floor stairs, walk 4 km, climb 7 floors, in my small gym I do 2 planks of 1 minute, 5 press ups, sit up on the bench, and 10 rollers. I feel I can wear my clothes I had stopped wearing due to decrease in size sometimes back. I had cellulitis in my right leg but now no more. My nails had white dot but have disappeared. I also add ACV, olive oil and eat tuna fish in plenty. Thanks a lot Dr. I dont know how to express my appreciation.

    Tnx for this. I had asked my mom's doctor why her nail is kinda blackish and he sait it was normal. He is kind of a doctor who tells patients to take this pill and that and my mom definitely would believe him. I hate that doctor but my mom wouldn'tbelieve me. Now she has liver and kidney problems aside from neuropathy and diabetes.

    Thank you so much Dr. Berg, for putting up this clear and informative channel :-)! This is one of the greatest videos on it, IMHO.
    It helps us to have a better idea of what's going on in the inside of our bodies. Extremely important info here.
    I have kept my eyes open for years, looking for exactly this kind of info, and never before found such a complete discussion of it. Especially your own drawings were very useful..
    Folks on here who wanted photos, I can tell you from studying Iris photos, you are better off with the drawings, confusing attributes are not present in Dr. Berg's drawings. The drawing clarifies exactly *and only* the thing you are talking about.
    I only expected to find this kind of information coming from some Chinese Acupuncturist, then lo and behold, here comes you. Bravo!
    Many Blessings to you and yours :-)!

    I had multiple high vertical ridges on all my finger nails. My doctor said it's just age related (that same old excuse given to women for sooo many things). I've tried everything. Keto diet some improvement as it stopped nails from splitting. Daily massage with petroleum jelly, no improvement at all. More fruit and sun, daily supplement blah blah blah. Three daily massage with avocado oil, again stops brittleness but not the ridging. Mountains of handcreams later, I noticed an improvement to my right hand nails and not so pronounced ridging on my left hand. It's taken me two months to finally realise it was a pot of Lacura avocado bright eyes sleeping mask with retinol which I was using up on my nails. I've just come back to finish the pot and within two day the ridges are much reduced on 3 fingers and the remaining 7 finger nail ridges have gone and are smooth. It's the magic I've been searching for.

    I appreciate your expertise Dr.Berg 👌 Question:
    Why do they test ferritin iron
    but not B12 iron on standard test ? That is only giving you 50% of your iron results ...If
    both irons are from animal protein why would one be deficient and not the other?

I've noticed two horizontal lines with a dip in between them on my thumbs, vertical ridges, my nail tips bending downward, and the moons at the bases of my nails turning from curved to straight across which I believe it's the white spots forming on the sides, some hair loss and lately, feeling short of breath!! This all makes so much sense thank you!! • @CarbageMan
      @CarbageMan 3 роки тому

      @@healthyketoexperiment7964 No. It doesn't. You don't know what you're talking about. There is nothing "unhealthy" about high-protein, and there's nothing "healthy" about eating too little. I'm always in ketosis. If you're in ketosis, you're keto.
      PS: I lost over 100 pounds and have been keto over three years. I know a little something about this. I see you've had this youtube account for a couple weeks. I hope you've been doing keto for longer than that, since you're telling people what keto is and isn't. I'm fully aware of Dr Berg's opinion about protein, and about a slew of other keto doctor's opinion about protein not being the same.
      Newbies can benefit from lowering the protein to the absolute minimum, but typically, they don't know what they're doing. As I did, they'll end up with problems from eating too little protein. I am still in the process of repairing the damage.

    • @healthyketoexperiment7964
      @healthyketoexperiment7964 3 роки тому

      @@CarbageMan So what do you mean by “high” protein? Keto is only supposed to be around 20% protein of one’s caloric intake. And that’s called moderate protein. You can have your own standards but then define them so we can understand each other. I’ve had my troubles when I ate too much proteins vs fats too. Now coming back to Dr Berg’s ratios, quite a few symptoms disappeared.

    • @CarbageMan
      @CarbageMan 3 роки тому +1

      @@healthyketoexperiment7964 Just stop pushing the orthodoxy you don't understand. That may work for newbies for several weeks, but when you've been keto for an extended period of time, you'll probably realize all that fat will keep you from losing fat. When you reduce the fat, your protein goes up. I'm at around 35% protein. and around 5% carbs. This is because I'm eating approximately 150g of protein a day and cutting back on the fat.
      In any case, keto is being in ketosis. I'm in ketosis. Do what works for you. I'll do what works for me. It works better that way.
