I'm actually super into this design, especially as someone who watches a lot of video while scrolling through Twitter or checking email. If I were in the market for a new phone I'd strongly consider it, especially since the price came out and it's $1000. A 765G at that price isn't the best but from what I read it's a very capable chipset in its own right

the lg g2 was really an excellent phone with a very good battery. Lg made the same mistake with the lg wing as the lg3 with a too low battery by making believe that they mastered their optimization.
I hope mobile phone companies are taking notes. This is why I continue to respect and buy LG products because they are not afraid to try and introduce new concepts to the market. This phone brings excitement back to the mobile industry and is functional without being gimmicky.
You highlighted something i see others failed to do so ..... it does not swivel or swing to the right for left-handed. LG should make it able to swing both sides.
I haven’t had an LG phone since the G3, which was a great phone. How is LG on software updates? Contemplating this phone, I like it. It has that attention grabbing factor that makes conversation.

I don't think the fold is that great, the flip is better in my opinion. I love that smaller form factor when it's folded. I think folding phones will be the future. Also the Motorola Razr 5g is something i am really thinking about getting as my next phone.
@@chewy4160 I respect your taste but you can't ignore the fact that the Z Fold series is the reason foldables exist to begin with. Z Flip is a COOL and FUN phone but it has no purpose aka it doesn't solve a problem. It's basically a tall narrow Sony Xperia phone that can fold in half to become smaller for no true useful reason whatsoever. Everywhere in public all I see are women using large phablet phones and easily storing them in their side or back pocket. Even the Note 20 Ultra can easily fit in a woman's satchel purse. He's ditching his iPhone 8 and was going to get the early 2020 Razr 4G but then I convinced him to wait for version 2 because the Z Flip 4G from earlier in the year beats it in specs and price. Recently he was about to buy the new Z Flip 5G but I informed him of the new Razr 5G. We played with the phone at the Verizon store and he fell in love with it. Z Flip 2 next year (Fall 2021 according to inside sources) will be even better because it should end up having a usable outer screen.
I'm honestly trying to figure out which one to get. On one hand the Fold has a better chipset, better display, and Samsung is better at giving software updates compared to LG. But, on the other hand the wing is way more practical, $1000 cheaper, and since there's no hinge you don't have to worry about any issues with it like there were in the first gen folds
@@MultiKool13 The difference being we already have a 2nd gen Z Fold while the Wing is 1st gen aka it might be wise to wait until Summer 2021 to see how "mature" software optimization turns out on the LG Wing not to mention that the price will drop to like $600 or less by then. At $1,000 the Wing is overpriced for the specs it has. I definitely intend to buy both the Z Fold 2 and LG Wing.

Mid-range specs at a flagship price, so you really need to get some added value from the form factor to justify this. That of course is subjective, but from my perspective I do not get it, but I do understand that OEMs are trying to find the next big thing, but this is sadly, probably another dead end.
