Still using it as my primary mobile vlogging gear in 2024. It still turns more heads than even my V50 with its Dual Screen case.
For sure it's a great phone
LG wing still offers more then most flagships today, like micro sd card support up to 2TB, full screen with no camera cut out, smart stylus support with s pen like features, two screens and gimbal mode which is amazing. I gotta buy one soon, might put my galaxy z fold down for this phone. I don't care about it not getting anymore updates . Good video easy, as always.👏🏼👍🏼

OMG, I loved the LG Wing! I just wish LG put a flagship processor in it. Also, I remember video in low light or indoors was grainy sometimes in gimbal mode. Loved the gimbal mode though. Also only one speaker 🔊

in my case, the processor is fine...
but i agree with the grainy video on gimbal mode at night or indoor light...
that is why, i usually just use it outside during the day...

Got me thinking about booting my V60 and running it as daily driver again. I upgraded to Z fold 5, then 6 and tbh, while its definitely a premium phone - I just don't feel that charm or excitement in using the device like I did with LG! I remember watching your vids when the announcement of LGs closure. So glad you STILL hold so much love for LG!!!!

I had an LG V20 and that camera was top notch! My date happened to see a video I captured and we were both wowed by the clarity and color-pop that phone produced. I also had a LG Wing but o broke it somehow o should have had it repaired. But I bought my first Note 9 and never looked back.

My LG WING is still going strong, but the display has weird touch issues, eapiece speaker is tinnier, mic doesn't work during a call in loudspeaker mode. But these can be repaired, and I plan on using this as my main phone after a repair...

I like LG phones because it has / had a very good handwriting or stylus pen note 'draw on screen' note taking built in software on every phone, from top of the line LG to the bottom. Very few reviewers mention that.

The only thing I didn't like was software related and it was the do not disturb feature. It didn't do it's job properly and not disturb me when I had it on and set up.

everytime i am checking, it says it is downloading the update... but after about 5 minutes it does not download anything (checking on the wifi downstream)...
not sure why...
nevertheless, i am still enjoying it...
this is one of my top 5 phones of all time... as of today... might stay there for more years to come, unless some other phones give me the same excitement or more than that for the next years...

I traded in my LG Wing for the $175 credit for a Samsung 24 Ultra, biggest regret of my life. So much more productivity on the LG Wing.
Yeah the wing is a great phone
The LG Wing was launched on October 15, 2020, while the first Samsung Galaxy Fold was released on September 6, 2019. The Galaxy Fold did launch at a price of around $2,000, and there were reports of issues such as battery life not being long-lasting. It's common for the first version of a product to experience some problems. That's just the cost of having the latest tech even if it doesn't pan out. You have to pay to play. Too bad LG doesn't commit to anything which probably brought down the brand. I have used LG phones over the years but they abandoned their customers. They gave up on the LG 5 friends/modular components for the phone. They dropped the second screen on the V10 and V20. They killed the hand gestures on the G8.

@@TheTechPreacher thank you I watched yet another video with no help on the matter. The video you shared, you used a Lapdoc which supports Video Input while regular laptops doesn't.
My laptop in particular doesn't have Video Input or Miracast so I'm basically fucked.
It's really disappointing that this feature doesn't work and has never been mentioned by any reviewer. Because unlike Samsung Dex, you can directly cast to your device using Samsung DeX PC suite and it works with zero latency. Also charges the device, I wish this was better explained by reviewers.

I can't seem to get my apps to view full screen like Samsung dex does.. when using youtube in Samsung dex when I click the video to go full screen dex has the option to hide the top and bottom bar .. and if u hover the mouse at the bottom the bar comes back up the auto hides after.. is this option possible with screen+
