Navigation + Music makes A LOT OF sense to me. I actually find myself switching back and forth so many times when I'm using the navigator because I keep thinking of songs and want to add new ones to the current queue, look up artirts, etc.
Are you driving while doing this? Not trying to hate, but if you're driving while doing that, that sounds REALLY unsafe. Switching between apps consistently, looking up artist, songs, etc. That's ALLOT. You're driving, which should take all of your effort, not spending time distracted by music you want to hear. Its one thing to be like; -Swipe down, skip, swipe up- all in one second, and something totally different to basically texting and driving distracted by your music wants trying to find artist or songs. Maybe I'm not understanding, but if you spend your car rides texting, finding music, swapping apps, etc, you might end up killing somebody one day, hopefully I'm just misunderstanding.
@@ViolentMLG I know but that's what happens most of the time, usually I do it at every red traffic light basically, or when I'm stuck in traffic. I live in a city and that's how it goes for me
@trufiend138 yup this is exactly right. For the app teams I've worked in we'd look at the top 20 devices or whatevers made 90% of our traffic (usually less than 20 devices) and it's usually always Samsung, One+, Pixel and Motorola's. It's just too expensive to develop a specific feature for niche hardware (which is why manufacturers often pay you to). Not a problem with iOS at all by relative comparison; the only issue there can be the length of time they support devices for so you have to support something like the iPhone 5SE which is a real oddity.
I've been daily driving this phone for around 3 years and to be honest, it's definitely a gimmick. You almost never flip it open. The swivel mechanism over time gets very loose and begins to wobble after a couple months and the battery dies very quickly. The selfie camera is ok but it has a weird softening effect that makes objects way too bright. Over all it is a fun phone but definitely not a phone you want to carry around every day it is way too bulky and not very good. P.S. As of writing this Asphalts support for the LG Wing has ended the mini map no longer displays.
What I kind of like about this is that, although there's a lot of "but why?" here, there's also a lot of "Well, why not?" Unlike current tablet-sized folding phones, this one is hardly any bigger or less convenient than a regular smartphone when closed.
@@zynexion3468 performance vs convenience We can’t say exactly for sure which is better since everyone has their own preferences, but I wouldn’t say it’s a direct disadvantage

I can see this phone being a reporter's best friend. Twitter or notes on one screen with documents shown on the other screen, and an audio recorder running in the background. Yeah, clearly until software really catches up, this isn't a phone for everyone. But I can see plenty of practical uses for people in journalism.
No one's gonna buy that phone because it is useless. If someone really wants to multitask he/she will buy a big screen phone or tablet and use split screen feature.

@@aniketsakalley5374 Just because it can be done, doesn't mean it's practical. Split screen does as the name says, splits the screen. You're using two halves of one screen. Where as foldables give you two full screens and this LG Wing gives you 1.5 screens. Again, not the same.

This actually has really cool multitasking potential. I actually prefer this over the folding out into a small tablet form factor.
I think the height of the phone is more important than the width of the phone for multitasking. With a screen so small on the bottom, just opening the keyboard is going to take up most of the bottom screen.

Honestly my biggest use case and MB hated on it :(
Are you driving while doing this?

Too bad it’s a LG, Samsung and Apple are going to copy them and end up selling more than them
@trufiend138 so true. It all depends on third party support, and that ain’t happening until the big boys embrace it.
